Chelsea’s Lukaku Is Didier Drogba’s Number One Fan

NEW Chelsea wunderkid Romelu Lukaku is suing the press conference to tell the world that he is Didier Drogba’s No. 1 Fan:

“I used to have two Drogba jerseys – one to sleep in and another for when I played in the streets with my friends…I had a poster of Didier on the ceiling above my bed and another of Anelka just to the right. I always wore the same shoes as Didier and I subscribed to Chelsea TV to watch these clips they show of training. We have the same hair, my favourite number is also 11 and I know we can play in the same team because it works when we train together.”

Arsenal Enforcer Emmanuel Frimpong Slaps Jack Wilshere On Twitter: Good Riddance To Samir Nasri

WHILE Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger attempts to take the pressure off his young players by telling media that beating Udinese in the Champions’ League is “not critical,” the Gunners’ teenage midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong assures the manager that he can handle himself.

Granted, after being at the club for nine years, 19-year-old Frimpong managed to get himself sent off on his home Premier League debut – an old head does not come quick. But his attitude to his team-mate Jack Wilshere’s tweet to the departing Samir Nasri is on the right lines:

Wilshere tweeted:

“Good luck to my friend @Nanas08 (mr Nasri) learnt a lot from him. World class player! Will be missed!”

Harry Redknapp Praises Luka Modric – The Best Unfit Pro At Spurs

HARRY Redknapp, the Tottenham Hotspurs manager, will now explain what a top bloke and better professional Luka Modric is – you know, the Croatian lad who will never leave Spurs (until the final moments of the transfer window when his value has been talked op to castrato levels?):

“His attitude has been first class. He has got on with it. There would be players when they have wanted to move that really wouldn’t have wanted to be playing today and not giving 100 per cent. But he only knows one way to play. He is a fantastic boy and a great professional. He worked hard today and his attitude couldn’t be better” – July 23, 2011

“He’s got a little bit of an injury. There’s a possibility he could have played through it. But at the moment his head’s not in the right place” – August 22.

Arsenal Signs Kaka, Nasri Stays And Qatar Freezes Over

ARSENAL are lining up a bid to sign Kaka, says one tabloid. The Brazilian who sounds like he’s shit but is actually very good at football is on his way to London.

Pretty much every half-decent footballer in Europe is being linked to The Gunners: Lille’s Eden Hazard, Marseille’s Lucho Gonzalez, Mathieu Valbuena and Andre Ayew, and Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vil.

Samir Nasri is doing his best to undo the legend that “ARSENE [Wenger] KNOWS” by not going to Manchester City – and only going there if if his preferred choice Manchester United don’t come and get him.

Says Wenger of the Nasri saga:

“I don’t know more than you about that.”

Leeds United Fans Know That Sex With Ken Bates Is Like Beating Hull

KEN Bates, the beared foemr Chelsea owner who took over at Leeds United, has a few tips for the fans who want him out of the Yorkshire club:

“I saved your club in 2005 and 2007 when nobody else would. The rebuilding of Leeds United is a bit like sex. In an age of instant gratification, Leeds United is having a long, drawn-out affair with plenty of foreplay and slow arousal. We’re in this for the long term. We may have had two disappointing results, but we will get there – we are building for the future.”

Gary Neville Interviews Manchester City Boss Roberto Mancini: Journalists Cheer

YOU are about to see a video of Manchester United’s Gary Neville interviewing Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini. You are about to see why Neville should not be going into football management. It makes for wonderfully painful viewing. It also explains why Sky Sports is often easier to watch than the BBC’s sports output – it’s because the BBC is obsessed with giving presenting jobs to ex-players and athletes instead of journalists.

On the other hand, it can be argued that Neville is a roaring success, given than the job of any interview is to keep us entertained:
