Angela Bismarchi’s Nylon Face
ANGELA Bismarchi will celebrate 100 years of Japanese immigration to Brazil by having nylon wires implanted in her eyes to give them an oriental slant.
Britons who celebrate the Irish presence in the UK by getting pie-eyed and the Caribbean influx by vomiting in a West London street will appreciate Angela’s efforts.
If Angela were an alumna of a British school she would just press an index finger to the corner of each eye and pull once for Chinese, harder for Japanese and down for “dirty knees”.
But Angela is more enlightened and plans a more lasting tribute.
This will be the 42nd time Bismarchi has had plastic surgery and she is closing in on the world record of 47 procedures held by American Cindy Jackson. Bismarchi is married to a plastic surgeon - he has operated on her 10 times. Her previous husband was also a plastic surgeon.
One wonders is the men in Angela’s life take their work home with them, she and her husband’s relationship being not unlike Dr Frankenstein and his muse or Worzel Gummidge and the Crow Man.
And if the nylon can be attached to a system of pulleys and cogs and so allow surgery enthusiasts to form a range of human-like expressions..?
