Since it doesn’t include all causes, you wouldn’t expect it to add up to 100%.

But some of the stats do look dodgy to me.

These numbers don’t add up to 100%. I believe that the current odds in the UK are, for cancer: 1 in 3 will be diagnosed as having a potentially fatal cancer and 1 in 4 will be reported as having ‘died of cancer’ on their death certificate.

I don’t see ‘Heart failure triggered by anxiety over worrying about statistical chances of methods of dying’ on this chart.
