Val Thomas Dies And Comes Back From The Dead
CAN you die and come back to life? Pay attention, Gordon Brown:
A WEST Virginia woman was being transferred to the Cleveland Clinic after walking the line between life and death. Doctors are calling Val Thomas a medical miracle. They said they can’t explain how she is alive.
They said Thomas suffered two heart attacks and had no brain waves for more than 17 hours. At about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, her heart stopped and she had no pulse. A respiratory machine kept her breathing and rigor mortis had set in, doctors said.
“Her skin had already started to harden and her fingers curled. Death had set in,” said son Jim Thomas.
The family were divying up her remains:
“She had no neurological function,” said Dr. Kevin Eggleston. Her family said goodbye and doctors removed all the tubes. However, Thomas was kept on a ventilator a little while longer as an organ donor issue was discussed.
Ten minutes later the woman woke up and started talking. Val Thomas and her family strongly believe that the Lord granted them their miracle and they want everyone to know.

‘The family were divying up her remains’
Perhaps mixed emotions amongst her relatives then when she ‘arose from the dead’ ?

How often may this have really happened. More often than we care to be told. Lets hope Mrs Thomas recovers sufficiently and regains her health enough to run off with a toy boy, and cruise the world, haha.

This illustrates yet another advantage to being a loner.
I can cark it in my armchair tonight and no-one will know I’m missing for…well, possibly years.
Plenty of time to snap out of being dead.

Val Thomas may well have heard her family talking about who gets what, and when she got to the pearly gates of heaven she thought better of going in and turned back with a grin on her face ready to spoil their fun! Not yet do they get the spoils!

I want to know wht she saw and does she remember anything about being dead? Did she see anything hear anything? Did she feel anything? Or was there nothing?

Oh, a point there Andria Smith, do hope she talks soon. Maybe St Peter sent her back to finish of some unfinished business!

The comment about divying up her remains is incorrect. They actually said their goodbyes, & the machine was turned off for 10 minutes before she moved. The family was on their way home to make funeral arrangements.

divying up her remains? WTF?!?
Are we talking about cannibals here?
“Look, I know that you like a nice rump steak, but I hear that the head makes good soup if you boil it for long enough….”.

Iwould like to clear up some of the misconceptions of this article. I am a member of the same church that the Thomas family attends and I know the full story. Mrs. Thomas actually had three heart attack and no brain wave function at all for 17 hours. Her family were not standing around “divvying up her remains”! They were praying for the strength to turn off the ventilator that was keeping her alive and it was agonizing for them. They love her very much and were not looking to get any kind of inheritance. This family is a good, Christian family and they would never do anything so crass as stand around her deathbed and discuss the will! This is a true miracle.

Yes, I agree with Andria, I thought immediately that she could tell us about the after life, which is actually how I ended up on this board, I was surfing to see if any information had been placed about her after death experiences.
But, maybe I do not want to know
