IN America: a man is jailed after letting his girlfriend share his plate of food.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says that a man was jailed for two days after letting his girlfriend eat from his plate - and then refusing to pay for two $7 buffet meals.
When he was charged for two $7 buffet meals, Linscomb refused to pay for one of them. He said that “there were no signs in the restaurant that said someone could not have some food off your plate,” the report said.
The restaurant staff called police, who came to the restaurant on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and arrested Linscomb on a charge of theft of services. He was taken to Fulton County Jail.
The man was released from jail two days later after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct.

I’m sure they’d have done much more unhygenic things if he’d not got banged up. Unlucky.

My Hubby tells raucous stories about what he and his rugby chums get up to with puddings at ‘Gentlemen’s Dinners’.
I must admit that they have all put me off anything with a biscuit base!

June when there’s a group of us out to eat we’ll order different desserts and put all the plates in the middle and try them all. I think its a female thing though……….

We often do one pudding and two spoons, but I’m a past master at flicking his across the room and finish before he gets back.

Quite right too.
It gives a whole new meaning to ‘would you like to go out for a meal?’ (just the one of course). Nip it in the bud I say before it becomes custom and practice to all the tightwads………..
