A St Valentine’s Day Message, From Sir Cliff Richard

cliffrichard-date4 A St Valentines Day Message, From Sir Cliff RichardVALENTINE’S Day looms and with it Cliff Richard.

Fans of the singer are being offered the chance to secure a “personalised” message from the hip swinging corrupter of youth.

At a cost of “£7.99 plus delivery”, you can: “Treat your loved one to a personalised poster of Cliff with your own unique message in an exact digital copy of Cliff’s handwriting.”

Who dares to say Cliff does not move with the times, or in time?

How each message will be unique is unsaid.

Such are the large number of his fans, Cliff may soon have to be writing cheery messages in Norwegian and Latin, or else delving deep within and offering fans the chance to “Get Stuffed – Cliff”, and so on…

  1. 1 JuneJohnson Says:

Ah, then you already know I am not a fan…

  2. 2 Herschel Says:

I don’t guess Cliff cares whether you are a fan or not because believe me he has PLENTY of fans. He has sold 250 million records so that proves that he has a lot of fans somewhere,.

  3. 3 JuneJohnson Says:

    250 million over 50 years?

Never mind the figures, I don’t like Cliff, and the ‘don’t care ‘is mutual

  4. 4 Karen Says:

I like Cliff, he made some great rockabilly records in the 50s. I know he ended up naff and a pratt, but they all do in the end.

  5. 5 Carrie Says:

I like Cliff . He is a good entertainer. Why don’t you like Cliff June? Do you not like his singing or do you not like him the personand why? I never cared for Buddy Holly’s singing (singing voice is not pretty) but I respect another person’s right to like who they want.

  6. 6 Christy Says:

I like Cliff as a singer and a person. I am from the US and I want to know what is a pratt? What does naff mean? I like Cliff for his Chrsitian beliefs.

  7. 7 Christy Says:

I menat to say Christian. I spelled it wrong. Sorry!

  8. 8 JuneJohnson Says:

I just don’t like him. Its a matter of taste and he doesn’t do it for me.
I do know he was’ good clean boy’ one could take home to Mum , so to speak, but did just adore Elvis…..

  9. 9 David Says:

    Hi Christy, a rough translation

Naff… Lame, Pratt.. an idiot or otherwise lame person.
And I dont like him either.
Here in Wisconsin many of my neighbors are heavily into country for some reason, I think that’s extremely naff. (Goat roping music for the inbred in my oppinion.

  10. 10 David Says:

    or opinion!

  11. 11 Christy Says:

Thank you for letting me know what those words mean. I don’t think Cliff is an idiot. He seems very intelligent. Ilike some country music. I like Keith Urban ( a country singer from Australia). He is married to Nicole Kidman.

  12. 12 Mic Says:

Cliff? He’s good for keeping the Wimbledon crowd entertained when it rains….they can throw their strawberries at him to shut him up.

    Mistletoe and wine?…bah humbug!

  13. 13 marley Says:

Leave Cliff alone he’s not harming anyone, except of course when he sings. Now he seems to live in New York most of the time with his new friend, we don’t see much of him in England. I agree with Karen he has ended up a pratt and agree with her that most people in ’show business’ for a while do end up prattish. I think it’s because they believe their own publicity.

On one of the British (freeview) Video TV stations I saw Cliff voted the nations favourite singer, even he was surprised when told, he said ‘what I’ve beaten Elvis, never’ I agree Cliff never is right………
