Beyond Parody: Richard And Judy’s Book Club A Levels
SOME days you can just type out the entire contents of the Daily Express and pass it off a brilliant parody.
We offer you this: “The English A-level is to get a dramatic revamp thanks to the huge success of Richard and Judy’s Book Club…
“It became such a nationwide hit that it has spawned its own show and the couple are now leaving the sofa behind to become full-time champions of literature.”
ENDS.

Very true NoseyCow. I can only imagine the horror of a wide-angle lens shot when I’m on my hols! The cellulite, the michelin rolls, the turkey neck!! Though I would never be troubled with rumours of anorexia.
But then again, weigh it up against the millions and a luxurious retirement in the Caribbean……….. hmmmmmm

‘noseycow ups her ratings and her dress size’
‘noseycow denies diet ?anorexia’
‘noseycow fashion disaster’
‘noseycow and where not to get your hair done’

In the interests of literature? Nah.. in the interests of self-promotion? Well, yes, I could but sadly I doubt he would.
Oh to be young fit and persuasive!
I mean look at the ‘literary’ success of Katie P, Kerry K, Coleen, Victoria et al. All best sellers and not one varicose vein between the lot of them… so very not fair.

But it has been a huge success! For an author to get their book on the list is to be set for life (Hurumph)
I find it so interesting…. Richard and Judy say read… we read!
What is it that R&J have that gives them that power of persuasion? Blimey, they’re up there with Paul mcKenna!
Quite a phenomena really.
