THE Daily Mail features the Cambridge graduate who was charged with sexual assault: “Why was Cambridge graduate put on trial for sex assault after drunken night of passion?”
Jack Gillett had his picture and name featured in the media. His name features once more. The “victim” could not be named for legal reasons.
Jack Gillet is innocent.
Blind justice..?

Either protect the identity of both the people involved or expose both of them. How can one sex be given preference over the other. I am certainly expecting this girl (whose name/face we do not know) will try to ‘do a Jack’ on some other innocent guy and still go scot free. Or it could also lead to some well known person, to prevent his name from getting dragged into the affair, pay her a lot of money to shut her up and get lost. Will she do this? Well there is nothing for her to loose, is there?

Rather paradoxical of the public spirited Mail to put this guy’s name and various photos - some caned - looking like a shady scrote and all that. Given that his identity should be protected? Is the girl in the picture that the Mail pointedly DO NOT disassociate from the story the complainant with the famous celebrity mother perchance?
