Madonna On Tom Cruise, The Frog King
“I don’t care if people worship turtles or frogs – if they’re good people.”
Frogs are people too. It needed saying. Go on:
“I think he gets a raw deal, just as I think orphans in Malawi get a raw deal, just as I think a lot of marginalised people get a raw deal.”
A poor African child with no parents is no different to a multi-millionaire, famous actor whose adopted religion makes them a figure of ridicule?
No, not Kabbalistic Madonna – Tom Cruise, king of the frogs…

What an idiot. There are so many things soooo wrong with her statement. Where do I start??? How in God’s name (sorry Xenu) is Tom Cruise MARGINALISED! He’s one of the most famous stars in the world you fake accented, no talent, cult embracing HACK! As an American…I am so sorry England, but she’s your problem now!

Wow Jack, can you not stand her either?

Yup. She turns my stomach. What she just said about New York City just confirms what I have always believed…She’s nothing but an attention whore who will do anything to try and stay relevant. It sickens me that she can shill for her CULT and people might listen. These folks are not just despicable human beings, but they are dangerous as well. My God, she can’t even sing anymore. Please Madonna, if you really want to do some good on the planet…then just go away!

“A poor African child with no parents is no different to a multi-millionaire, famous actor whose adopted religion makes them a figure of ridicule?”

Everyone loves Tom cruise.

Cruise is a great artist. He deserve lots of respect.

Dairy
I would.
The man can’t do anything to shake my crush on him - go bald, marry Elton John - I’d still be watching Legend….

Who or what someone worships doesn’t mean much UNTIL that starts to interfere with the human rights of others.
Scientology has a very long laundry list of human right violations, cover-ups, and intimidation /harrassment.
What do you expect from a criminal organization that touts themselves as a master race of evolved beings (homo-novis?)
Scary cult is S-C-A-R-Y

They’d have to go a long way to beat Christianity’s death-toll.
Or it’s infringement of human rights.

let’s all be atheists and then the problem will be resolved!!!

Hey ‘geraldo’…
Ah, no. Sadly, not everyone loves Mr. Cruise. And I believe his tanking box office non-appeal proves it. My hope is that he continues to poor his ill gotten gains into big budget movies that sink like a stone at the multiplexes. Then after he & his production company go broke we’ll see the final end of his sad career & persona.
Good riddence.

it’s a real shame that someone like Tom Cruise can get so hooked into something like this that they seem to lose all sense of perception and reality. Lately he has seemed to be verging on the fanatical and unfortunately that will not change unless he decides to change himself (see Jason Beghe interview) - we should feel sorry for him because, in his position as a famous and rich film star, after years of people telling him that he is the best thing since sliced bread, there are very few people who are going to attempt to convince him that he has got it badly wrong. And even if he did, it would be so public (and the public would be so judgemental) that I think he would find it very hard to withstand.
it is the perpetrators who should be isolated - David Miscavige has an awful lot to answer for …

Karen:
You see, religions centuries ago had some issues. However, we as people have evoloved and shelves such nonsense. Scientology tries to be the authoritative oppressors of yesteryear. They are simply not up with the times. While they are taught that they are a higher lifeform than the rest of humanity (hom0-novis they call it), the instead marginalize the rest of the world as unworthy individuals who can be lied to, tricked, or destroyed.
The Pope just came to the US and spoke of the recent abuses within his Church, openly, apologetically, and acknowledged the damage done. Scientology will not do that, and instead lies about policies such as disconnection, fair game, and their stalking and harassing of exmembers and critics. David Miscaviage (COB as they call him) has never apologized or acknowledged the human rights violations and abuses of his ‘church’. All he has done has been to constantly rewrite/revise L Ron Hubbards work to be resold for more money all over again, and thrown his adversaries (and his wife) into RPF (Rehabilitation Project Force, or Scientology Jail).
So the whole Christianity/Scientology analogy…not really holding water.

Bollocks. The fact that the Pope had to apologise for something that only just happened proves that we haven’t evolved that much. Christianity still teaches that we’re a special, chosen people because of our baptism (and confirmation) and that the only way to avoid death or damnation is to follow Christ.
And I assume they still have laws in the US? The victims of Scientology can go to the police or sue. I mean - look what happened to the Branch Davidians - it’s not like the US government is incapable of attacking a cult.
If people want to believe in a naff Alien pseudoscience - universally slagged off in the press and by nutters who hate it - that’s their own look out.
