Josef Fritzl Admits Raping Elisabeth Fritzl
HE did it. Josef Fritzl has confessed to imprisoning his daughter Elisabeth in a cellar for 24 years and fathering her seven children, according to Austrian police sources.
Josef Fritzl also admitted burning the body of a baby that died at the house in Amstetten, Lower Austria.

How interesting that he and his lawyer are to plead his insanity. Just where has this man been. Had a holiday in Asia, been around, eh. Brace ourselves for more about this evil monster. Someone should finish him off, but on the other hand, that would be too good for him. The prisoners have it in for him Don’t belive for one moment that the wife did not know about it either. Fancy marrying a man with a conviction in the first place.

What a vile piece of filth. If I could mete out his punishment, I would expose him for all the world to see, and let each one who would like to, to come and do anything at all that they see fit to him. A maggot has more worth in my opinion than he does.
As for his victims, I wish them healing to the fullest extent possible.
It is in times like these that I know where my doubts as to the existence of a god originate.
May I say that for the most part I am against the death penalty, however, in his case I would definitely suspend this conviction.

I agree it is a shame this swine lived. When one reads about him in Thailand etc on holidays, it is so horrendus. What if he had died, plane crash, been arrested etc, think of the risk that poor girl was exposed to - she could have died in there, and nobody may have known for decades.
I think he should be sentenced to lashings for each day left of his miserable life.

The cellar was soundproofed and extended under the garden. That’s why noone heard them.
The tenants in the building were forbidden to go near the cellar and they obeyed.
The neighbours considered him a close friend…one could not recall his first name.
Social Services visited them when they were made aware that 3 of Elizabeths children were living with him and due to his wife, they were fine so there was no cause for concern.
He took those 3 apparantly because they cried too much and he felt someone would eventually hear them.
Everything this ‘man’ did was calculated and well thought out and he will have committed the crime regardless but what astounds me is how long he managed to committ it for.
An issue that people are not picking up on quite yet is that of the trend of not speaking to or being involved in the lives of your neighbours…
I read that a woman called the police when she heard her neighbour being beaten by her husband in response to this story and that it ‘didn’t do much good’.
I myself found myself in a similar situation and did not call the police. Instead I actually SPOKE to my neighbour, became friends with her and spent many nights on my terrace (only when he was out) and talking her situation through. She eventually left him and went back to her home town where her family are. Yes I could have put myself in a compromising situation by doing so but to be honest - I couldn’t care less.
If there is one thing we can all take from this it is that we all need to relearn how to be Neighbours. The current trend to treat your neighbours with suspiscion and dislike without ever getting to know them is the very reason things like this go unnoticed for so long. This whole ‘it’s their problem not mine’ mentality is detrimental to the well-being of all. There used to be a time when your Neighbour would simply pop in for tea to see how you were doing…would knock on your door before setting off to the shop to see if you needed anything too…they live next door to us, under us, above us…
In response to some comments made above:
He abused her from the age of 11. Getting back to ‘normal’ isn’t realistic. She is 42 years old now - ‘normal’ to her is exactly what she has lived for 31 years.
Castrating Peadophiles implies they wont abuse once they lose their genitals…not to be explicit…but I’m not so sure Castration or even the killing of this man will make Elizabeth feel any better, her children, nor the countless victims of abuse like this the world over.
Here is hoping she is able to regain her health both physically and mentally and that of her children and can continue to be as brave as she has been and create a new life of her own with and alongside them…

That’s what I’ve been thinking, too. But if he had had an accident and had died, the combination to open the door would (tragically) not have be the problem.
Because: Nobody knew there was a door!
Nobody apart from Fritzl knew about the victims in the cellar.
Yesterday on TV a reporter said Fritzl talked about a “time switch” that would have opened the door after a week, if he himself hadn’t opened it in the meantime.

I can not believe they are only talking 15 years for this guy!!!
He has ruined not only his daughter’s life (no husband or children of a loving relationship for her- the best years of her life destroyed) but those kids who were imprisoned with her - he should get at the minimum 4 life sentences - 1 for the daughter and 1 for each child!!!

He was the only one who knew the combination. What if he had been killed in an accident? Elisabeth and the children would have had to watch each other die of starvation. I hope she never has to see his face again. The poor dears . . .
