Blood Red Square: Violence At Champions League Final
“FANS FACE RED SQUARE UP,” says the Star, kicking off the tabloids’ traditional jingoistic build up to every big match on foreign soil.
It’s Russian Chelsea v American Manchester United in Moscow and “supporters fear chaos could end in a riot”.
Fear or hope? It’s unclear.
“Violent mafia gangs rule the streets and crooked police ignore drug abuse and prostitution…so will Moscow welcome the 100,000 British football fans for this month’s prestigious Champions’ League final.”
Sounds like they’re well prepared.

If only it had been Liverpool versus Man U. Two sets of northern lads battling it out for the love of the game and possession of the Trophy. Supporters linking arms for a good few beers after the match before a peaceful flight home to the austerity of the North
But no! It had to be Chelsea. You know what their supporters are like. Thugs to a man and so easy to wind up

Perhaps not that easy at all

This year Man U, next year maybe Man City, the REAL Manchester team! The genuine article.
Let me dream…………………..
