Josef Fritle’s bunker, sorry, cellar is the subject of Sun’s columnist Lorraine Kelly’s thoughts.
“The Austrian police should have a massive recruitment drive and set up a special unit to search every single cellar in their entire country. Who knows what more vile horrors would be revealed.” The cops should “start arming themselves with pickaxes, torches and strong stomachs and start searching those cellars”.
It’s what the Nazis would have done. After all, thiis is “the country that gave us Adolf Hitler”, who seems to have inspired Kelly’s campaign.
PS - If you find any Jews or gypsies down there, let Lorraine know….

in a vast land like Austria, with all his fierce animals like poisonous spiders and kangaroos, isn’t it normal to become a littel bit mentally ill.

Hi Noseycow- Nice one Nosey. Sad bloody thing is he did apply for planning permission.
This case is sickening. Wonder if anyone comes out of the woodwork in Thailand with a tale to tell. Did none of his holidaying pals have an idea what a sick man he was or did they all share the same views about abusing children.

Why has Fritzl got a TV in his shared cell?
Surely he isn’t allowed to watch news updates on the suffering of the family.
It has been reported that he is a sadist, would these reports not appeal to his sadistic nature and give him another way to get his rocks off.
Please watch him like a hawk and make sure he has no opportunity to top himself.
He should suffer every day until his last breath.
It is at times like these that I wished I believed in Heaven and Hell.
He should rot in hell if there is one..

Somehow I doubt it occurred to Loraine Kelly that small children having to look after their drunken comatose parents are another perversion of the structure of a family…

The prisons are full of psychopaths. If Fritzl is “mentally ill” this is his diagnosis. Do we let every psychopath go free because they have this particular diagnosis??? What is his lawyer trying to say? “Oh, he is just a lunatic with no conscience at all so we have to let him go free.” Let all the Hannibal Lecter’s go free because they are crazy afterall and not responsible for their actions.
He should be tried as well for third degree murder of the infant twin because his actions prevented proper prenatal and postnatal care for the mother and twins. He should also be up for (probably) third degree murder of Kristen because his actions prevented her from being in good health.

Kachaa, you may find the police are contemplating a charge of murder for the baby’s death.
His lawyer does have to do his stuff and be seen to do his stuff, even in the most heinous of crimes a civilised country does have to ensure a fair hearing for Justice to work.
A plea of insanity does have to be proved
