Kevin Maguire Says Boris Johnson Is Politic’s George Best

boris-george-best Kevin Maguire Says Boris Johnson Is Politics George BestSAYS Kevin Maguire in the Mirror: “Cocky David Cameron has privately conceded that he’s not as popular as he’d like us to think.”

Says the Mirror’s deputy political editor, Jason Beattie one page on:

“Gordon Brown was yesterday warned by Cabinet colleagues his core voters were being won over by David Cameron.

“One senior minister said former Labour supporters were not just ‘flirting’ with the Tory leader but climbing into bed with him.”

Maguire’s insight then extends to looking at Boris Johnson, the new London mayor. He images a time when Cameron runs Britain, and “Bor-arse must wonder where it all went wrong.”

There was a similar question once asked of George Best…

George’s ghost has just enquired of me:

‘They say Bowser is the new George Best but has he shagged three Miss Worlds?”

    I rest my case…

Lol. He may be working on that and allegedly some of Best’s other problems? Lucky London media is going to have lots of fun with Bowser/ Bojo and hopefully London’s billion pound budget will be well spent ???

BTW . Who called him Bor-arse and is it to do with floater voters and hot air? He is certainly not boring imo.

  4. Karen Says:

    I like Boris Johnson.

Although he’s got no brain and he can’t talk properly (he’s too posh to pronounce).

Besides, I don’t think he meant to be elected. I think he just wanted the press coverage. Judging by his Election speech he’ll get others in to run London for him. Hopefully.

  5. David Says:

It should be an interesting ride with Boris in charge.
Almost makes me want to return and experience it live.
I stress ‘almost’…. most of our politicians here in Wisconsin are dull dull dull.
They have much more colourful ones just over the border in Illinois, and Chicago city politics is a constant soap opera.
I’ll be watching via the internet. :

David, George would HATE him , there’s no drinking on LT from 1.6.08, but I guess George might manage being in spirit as they say?
