When Care in the Community’, more accurately described as Absence of Care in the Community’, came in it transpired that women had been institutionalised here decades ago for the entirely non-existent mental health condition of having had an illegitimate child.
All these years later they were finally freed, though by then they were wholly unable to cope with anything but an institution.
Locking women up because you don’t like their sexual activity is not confined to Austria.
But that isn’t what Fritzl was doing…

Hardly anyone paid attention to Francesca Martinez statement on Tibet and consequent refusal to carry the Olympic torch - I think I saw one interview on Channel 4!

He must be put in the underground matrix beneath the family home.

What purpose would it serve?
This man knows what rain is, what a dog looks like, what the sky looks like, what a car looks like, what sun against his skin feels like.
Remove the TV , ration food to a minimum, give vitamins as a supplement to keep him alive, give any tablets ie statins, asprin etc to extend his life.
Do not let this man die.
Let him live a long , long life in this hell hole, no sunshine, no bird song, no rain against your skin and let him repent as he requested, reflect on his illness( illness, you are having a laugh).

Around ten years ago when they executed a child rapist and murderer by firing squad here in Utah, I thought that was barbaric. But know I realize that this is exactly why the death penalty should not be revoked . The punishment for certain crimes can never be served by prison alone.
