Shopping For Ties With Irritating Paul McCartney
BREAKING Paul McCartney news in the Star where eyewitnesses spot the wobbly headed divorcee buying three ties.
Paul is in Lewis’s department store, buying three £11.99 ties – one blue, one brown, and one in hearing aid grey.
“He was really down to earth and seemed pleased,” says Tarja Ord, who served Paul his go ahead neckwear.
In unrelated news, Paul has been voted the most irritating celebrity on plant earth by people who vote on a website.
Says site worker Craig ‘Ringo’ Dawson: “It’s easy for musicians to get very irritating very quickly. Macca has driven people up the wall with his ‘holier than thou’ approach to his divorce, two-fingered peace gesture and penchant for wearing trainers with suits.” And ties.
That Top Ten in full:

At first I thought the list should include Mrs Beckham but then I realised it is a list of musicians, which explains why she hasn’t been included.

They missed out the naff rainbow piano, the naff thumbs up gestures and nearly every song he wrote after the Beatles made the Rubber Soul album (Good Day Sunshine, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer - hideous).

So we are to believe Paul had little input on Sgt Pepper, the most influential album of the century? This album changed the future of pop music.
No input to the underrated White Album? Let It Be, Abbey Road?
Like him or loathe him, a brilliant composer. Yes, he has his musical failures (Frog Chorus, anyone?) but still a genius.

Patch, you let yourself down with “Frog Chorus, anyone?”! Because 1) That`s a silly (and irritating!) expression; and 2) We All Stand Together (as it is actually called) is a great children`s song. Try telling a 3 year old it`s a naff song and they shouldn`t like it. Using at as example of a lapse is shear laziness. It`s actually an example of his genius.

he might be a genius, but he is an extremely irritatingly smug genius….

So you mentioned Cliffy as well! Big Cliffy fan here and of Pauly. They are icons! They are just themselves too. Love them both. Paul sent his kids to public school and then let them work at the local Maccas too and elsewhere. He is an honest chap with no frills and has given us wonderful music too. With Paul what you see is what you get. Both lads are honest, and the same applies to Cliffy-what you see is what you get.
