Amy Winehouse To Walk In Straight Line At London Fashion Week
AMY Winehouse is being approached to model at London fashion week.
With much emphasis being placed on models starving themselves to be thin, has the fashion industry hit upon a wheeze: place the models alongside Winehosue and make them look the picture of health.
Julian MacDonald explains in Metro: “She’s an amazing talent. We are always busy working on fashion week. She’s an incredible person, who is just very unique and has a great style. She is just so different.”
Different to what? To the usual androids who are programmed to walk along a runway, stop, turn and walk back again? Given the advances being made in inflatable dolls, their days are surely numbered. Winehouse is certainly shorter.
She may walk in a straight line once, but twice is pushing it.
This could be the best fashion show in town - so long as Winehouse shows up…

Julien Macdonald is a designer who is well into ‘heroin chic’ models, the thinner and gaunter the better, preferably size minus zero. And he uses fur, all sorts of fur, he is non-selective. If it’s furry and has a pulse then he wants it to be a coat. (allegedly of course!)
However it is sad to see someone else wanting to use Amy Winehouse. They’re all at it, family, friends and now attention seeking designers. Shame on them all.

As a second cousin, twice removed, of someone who once knew Miss Winehouse’s lawyer, I must protest at the disgraceful way in which you associate Miss Winehouse’s name with the word ‘line’.
I may, however, be able to overcome my disgust at this clear breach of Miss Winehouse’s privacy; cash in a plain brown envelope, please, to the usual address…

Amy is abviously very sick. Having had a family member who was addicted to alcohol I can recognize the symtoms; rail thin legs and arms, bloated belly, bad skin color. She needs to be in a treatment facility getting help. This young woman was a beautiful young girl who has been used by everybody around her till now she is a pale shadow of her former self. The media has ridiculed her at the same time they stand in wait to take pictures of her decline. Isn’t there anybody anywhere who will try to help this talented young woman instead of profiting by her destructive behavior? I sincerely hope so.
By the way, ‘ya know the family member I mentioned? He died.

Amy is shorter than Victoria Beckham, druggier than Kate Moss and blacker than Naomi Cambell. She will make a perfect fashion model.
