No, not the plague of reality TV contestants that infiltrate our telly and news organs – Alex is as popular as the Black Death.
A spokesman for Ladbrokes, which has Alex at 125-1 to win Big Brother, says: “Alex is about as popular as the plague with punters.”

Inside the paper and: “BIG Brother bully girl Alexandra De-Gale faces being kicked out for continuing to pick on housemates.”
In the space of one page Alex has gone and returned. So much for Black Death - Alex is Black Magic.
So is she going? Says the Star: “Contestants are scared of taking her on for fear of being branded racists.”
And we can’t have racism on Big Brother, can we..?
