   I think it’s ridiculous that some people are so naive about this disability. I have family who are blind and they’re always saying “I can see that” or if we’re shopping I say “Come look at this”. They’re figures of speech, come on. And don’t forget he COULD see at one time of life so he understands things just as facial expression.

   I have to agree with figure of speech. The same goes for when Mario said to Mikey “see what I mean”, he doesn’t actually mean physically look at what I’m trying to tell you. Mikey hasn’t always been blind, even so, people who have been blind since birth will use the same figure of speech. You can look at his eyes and see he has problems with his vision , the fact this topic has been brought up YET AGAIN is ridiculous!!! Big Brother wouldn’t, for one thing, put anyone in the house telling them to pretend to be blind, it would cause a huge backlash from the viewing public, much bigger than the fact you all THINK it now, and big brother would be shut down!!!

   Isn’t Mikey blind? Perhaps, you are the ones who are and can’t see that man not being able to find the door! I believe some of you should get yourself a LIFE, make an appointment to see an optician and stop bitching about people you certainly know nothing about!

   Mikey doesnt use his stick like a blind man should, just holds it out infront of himself and i also noticed that in the clock task mikey, instead of pointing to where the noise was coming from using his magnificent ears just pointed to where mo was, a sign that he can not hear as well as he makes out and that he then stepped over the alarm clocks without treading on a single one, and there was loads of them. I doubt a blind man would have attemped that without using the stick.

   Yeah, but hang on.
   I know a blind guy and he says he ‘watched’ something on telly, ’tis a figure of speech. What he meant is he heard something on telly, but that sounds wrong so he says ‘watched’.
   Also, blind people have a heightened sense of the tone in which people speak, so he could well have translated this into a facial expression when he was doing an impression of someone.
   That being said, he probably isn’t blind because big bro is scripted and fake from beginning to end. I used to love it, but now I feel ashamed to admit that……

   This is most amusing to read. I personally agree with Dairy. Please people.

   I would love for Mikey to come out as te all-seeing-eye. To be fair though, being blind does not make you stupid. you can notice something even if you cannot see it. Can you smell or hear with your eyes? NO!!

   I quite hate Luke - I feel as though this idiot is a smug little mummies boy. A pensioner - a very bitchy pensioner - trapped in a gangly youths’ body.

   I find it hard to find a character in there that I can understand and like all the time. This is the first time that I have watched BB for years - now I remember why. All the snide remarks, bitching, fighting and arguing about the most stupid things.

   Jennifer and her “master-piece”. It was crap, Jen. Get. Over. It. You. Whining. Tartlett.

   From the first day he went in, my words were “I bet he can see!” - I still think it now. My sister and I picked up on the quotes above, completely baffled to how he knew what Jen looked like. This raises the question of, ‘What if all the BB contestants are just actors and actresses, just taking our money out of votes?’ Ah, I’m starting to hate BB, there are too many questions left unanswered, Can Mikey see? Are Mario and Lisa actors? Does Jen actually have a husband, or is that crazy man making it up!? There are three more female ‘contestants’ entering the house on the 4th of July (today) - I think it’s the right date - Who knows what they are, genuine or fake!? Ah, oh well. Main focus, is Mikey really blind? No. Not that I know of. It can’t be contacts, you would see him using eye drops or taking them in and out. X - REX TO WIN!!!

   I can assure you all that Mikey Hughes is blind!
   I’am from the same town as Mikey & have seen him going for his train almost every morning for the last five years or so!
   So I would say that if he can see, he is not only the best, but also the most committed actor I have ever seen!
   I hope this sorts out any doubts that any of you have regarding Mikey’s condition!

    Even the blind can see that Jennifer, Dale, Stu, Luke, Denise, & the black girl (who’ll be gone by Friday night) are snivelling little shits! Bex should see them for what they are.
    Mario and Lisa are just frail.
    Rex and Rachel seem like honest, decent individuals.

    i dread big brother starting every year..it gets worse every time..and as much as i may hate it, it is completely unavoidable…people at work talk about it..its talked about on here..everywhere i go someone has to bring it up

    i just really dont get the fasination with it at all…they are the most eccentric ridiculous people around..its not reality it is just a bunch of show off loud mouths bitching about each other…

    Honestly chaps, hand on heart no lies, I said all along and even more when Mikey couldn’t find the door, and blind people I know of suss their surroundings and especially doors, furniture etc quite quickly, he hasn’t really, anyway this comment takes me closer to saying what I always have, contacts, he can see, and they are all actors, as Mario will say as he mentions his fan club enough, even bad Alex, different girl when playing the part of herself, anyway we’ll see if the next eviction goes to plan,
