Norah, sister of Kate’s dad, said after waving off the McCanns: “They had a lovely time, very relaxing. It was all about them getting away. They really enjoyed being away from the spotlight. We spent a lot of time at the beach. The beaches here are beautiful.”

Was a holiday really for the kids????????? I live in Vancouver and it is not somewhere I would vacation with two small kids. Flight is 9 plus hours. They are really living it up…….. Personally I could not ever go on a holiday again if |I lost my daughter the way they lost theirs.

Glad you posted this comment. Agree 100% with you. Saw the book today advertised and there were a lot of them, in the local book shop. Didn’t have time to stop and look at the price though. Only a matter of time until they get their knickers in a knot though IMHO.

Who’s this Chenier person anyhoo? Someone who talks down to people and insults their intelligence and still manages to get away with it and keep his lot of followers anxious for more? I’ve kept up on the Madeleine case here in Canada since the story broke and it strikes me as odd that someone is so continuously insulting to others’ comments/questions if he is at all questioned. You must be chomping at the bit to get something good off your chest now that I’ve written this, Chenier. Give it your best shot…my ex was verbally abusive and had a superiority “thing” going on too.

Well, obviously I do know there is a theory that they are all paid posters, but I’m not sure I subscribe to it. some of them are so thick I cannot imagine anyone paying them.
I think it is self interest, it is noticeable how often they also claim to have left their children alone. Maybe they are just people who are keen that their children should be someone else’s responsibility.
Do we see the same concern for Murat’s daughter though - will she not read blogs when she is older, some of the things which have been said about her Father are terrible? Maybe you are right.

the mcscum are not fit to be allowed to be alone with the “twins” let alone “bring them up”
they demonstrated that by leaving them alone at night for an admitted series of occasions
and this despite “suspecting” a predator was watching them and despite maddie crying out for them
these scumbags are heartless, selfish monsters who should be dealt with accordingly

Human Rights legislation - makes victims or villains of us all.
I’m always fascinated though that the posters who arrive and roundly condemn those posters busily engaged in theorising Madeleine’s possible fate, are always in support of the parents, not any other Arguido.
What is it, are they concerned that someone might bring in legislation forcing them to look after their children properly?

two reasons
first it perpetuates the myth of an “abduction” which is clear did not happen
second it perpetuates the myth that the mcscum are somehow “victims” of what happened, instead of being 103% responsible and liable for what happened because of their repeated neglect - and probably worse

I think there are so many people who leave not very nice messages about the Mccanns on this site just find it easier to deal with what has happened to Madeleine by writting such rubbish about her parents, and by the police prosecuting her parents for neglect, How is that going to help with the twins up bringing, honestly I am astounded at some people’s replies on this site

Are they campaigning that hard to find Maddie? Doing an amber alert is no good really.
Where are they looking for that child? The police, other authorities are looking too, and other missing children. Personally, IMHO, I don’t think they are looking that hard. I really don’t think they have too anyway. They know, and so do others of their group. Hopefully someone will break ranks and then we shall know exactly what happened.IMO.

It is the fact that them being irresponsible led to Madeleine’s disappearance that is the issue. M is missing because they failed her. They made a concious decision to leave her alone in an unlocked appartment, in a foreign country and that decision has resulted in the disappearance of Madeleine.

Personally don’t think the Mcs are looking for their daughter. The know where she is IMHO. It is surprising that the powers that be have not looked into whether Maddie was in fact their biological child or not. Also, if Maddie was child trafficked which is a possibility too, she should have appeared somewhere on a video site. The fact that so much was made of her eye condition too was not good. This made her instantly recognizable and probably the would have had to be fixed. So it is good for them to get out of the spotlight, good, then, get out of the spotlight is good advice.

All the Mccanns are guilty of is being irresponsible. Why on earth would they still be bringing attention to themselves after all this time, they could have gone into the background and been forgotten by now.
