Madeleine McCann: Liz Hunt Wonders, The Leaked File And The End
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS (front page): “MADELEINE – Anger as Portuguese police file is linked”
Yesterday, Madeleine McCann returned to the Express’s front page, a place she once used to own. She’s back today. What price she will be back many times yet?
KATE and Gerry McCann faced further anguish last night after learning that the final police report into their daughter’s disappearance had been leaked to a Portuguese newspaper.
The Express feels their pain and their hurt. And if its readers want to know how bad it is, well, read on:
According to the document – which purports to be a summary of the final police report handed to prosecutors at the beginning of the month – detectives worked on three main theories about what had happened to Madeleine after she disappeared from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz on May 3 last year.
The report purports. It’s not fact. So should the Express repeat it? Well:
While some of the information was followed up, much was discounted as useless. Detailing how the police came to declare Kate and Gerry official suspects in the investigation, the report said it followed forensic tests and searches with British-based sniffer dogs.
Let’s reconsider that useless evidence on more time.
DAILY TELEGRAPH (front page): “LIZ HUNT – WHY THE McCANNS MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO MOVE ON”
Why? Is it because Liz Hunt will keep talking about how they cope with not knowing what happened to their missing daughter in the press?
THE GUARDIAN (front page): “How did the most high profile crime in modern times reach such an end?”
It hasn’t ended…

Jo! I haven’t had a minute to do my usual re-cap yet. I know that we have to be thoroughly responsible at all times of course.
I can safely say that you and I have probably given the site much grounded respectability.
I would go so far as to say that we have never uttered anything outlandish, off-the-wall or anything not based on the facts as given to us today by Amaral - so i think we just keep our heads level with the parapet for now.
Remind me - How long would it take me to walk down to the sea in PDL and then run like fuck back to the Tapas bar?
Thanks! X

So the tappas9 were under survelaince before Madeleine went missing according to Amaral
Not just a myth then !

GANDOLF! Thanks!
Speaking as one of the unwashed and less-guarded I humbly thank you for those defining words.
We are only doing scenes of parallel puppetry and playing with dolls anyway. Art imitating life and all that.
Have you tidied your fucking bedroom up yet?
I might have you for libelling people on here - but you would probably get away with it because you are a half-wit like me!
Is it libel if you do it on a lap-top then?
How the fuck do they find out who wrote what - if you are living in a hostel for the feeble-minded like me?
What if somebody had come in my dormitory and borrowed my lap-top and wrote naughty things about the Clan?
Would it be me who was sued and imprisoned? How would somebody prove who wrote something?
You have scared me a lot and I am not well at the best of times.

A book called “Maddie - The Truth of the Lie” is to go on sale in Portugal today, with claims from its author that someone who was there on the night Madeleine McCann vanished is hiding the truth
“Mr Amaral also attacks Gordon Brown for trying to influence the investigation to the benefit of the McCanns”
What a BIG surprise!!! tut tut,Mr. Amaral, dont be like that

How has the bestest, greatest and most brilliantest scientificest place managed to fuck the tests up?

All professional can make mistakes but I dont think this is true in this case.
Other professionals did NOT make any mistakes : Eddie & Keela
Your olfactive sense is not failing you : it does smell very fishy

How has the bestest, greatest and most brilliantest scientificest place managed to fuck the tests up?
When testing in a scientific way - there are back-up tests to test that the bestest and most accurate results are gained.
Given how diligently everybody was working and given that this has been one of the most publicised cases since Lord Lucan - I am at a complete loss as to how the DNA bollocks were dropped.
How is that some boffin-men could be so completely wrong?
Boffin-men can sometimes get things wrong - like Einstein and Hitler held their hands up to - but I am shocked and disturbed that such a high-profile case could be fucked up so badly.
Being a Simpleton I am not au fait with all things forensic - but I can smell a horrible fishy smell again.
Have all the boffin-men agreed that it’s bollocks - or just some boffin-men?

“The Department of Criminal Investigation (DIC) of Portimao is going to be briefly strengthened in order to cope with the possibility of new leads or new sensitive details to be analysed within the context of the Maddie case. For some time already, there has been a sense of excitement on the part of the PJ. New leads would seem to be checked in total secrecy. It is not to be ruled out that the PJ are holding something. Whatever it is, the case remains open. Indeed, little Madeleine’s disappearance is not resolved. To my knowledge, neither the little girl nor her body has been found. And as long as we do not find Madeleine or her body, the case will remain open!!”
I hope you are all aware of this

Exclusive Interview with Gonçalo Amaral: Cadaver was frozen or was kept in the cold
Gonçalo Amaral regrets that a ‘fact-finding inquiry (sindicância) to the investigation was done”. In the first interview where he talks about the process, he defends that Maddie died at the Ocean Club. The book is launched today in Lisbon and promises to re-launch controversy.
