Toe-Curling Romeo Beckham’s Shot For Stardom
DAVID BECKHAM’S five-year-old is kicking a football.
News enough, but there is more:
His shot had onlookers open-mouthed as it mirrored his dad’s 2001 goal against Greece which saved England’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
That’s him taking the kick in a pair of open-toe Louboutin shag-me shoes and celebrating his refulgent strike by contorting his face into a lap-dog grimace. But the Sun says Romeo is “just like his dad”, and that is what he should be.
SADOS (Sons And Daughters Of Stars) are ever thus.
In the face of much evidence to the contrary, the girls always take after their model mums (Leah Woods, Kimberley Stewart, Jade Jagger) and the boys are always really good at music (Julian Lennon), magic (Martin Daniels) or presenting on the BBC (John Snow’s son and hundreds of Dimblebys).
So Romeo Beckham is brilliant at football.
One onlooker said yesterday:
“Romeo’s free kick was uncanny — it looked just like his dad. His body shape was identical to David’s as he hit it.”
Romeo Beckham’s new range of denim is out this autumn…

Whydyathink they take themselves so seriously? Have you lived with them? Near them? Are you friends with them, or their friends? All I have ever heard through various grapevines connected directly to them is that they are genuine people, very good devoted parents who are very hands-on and wouldn’t you say that heading up a worldwide brand as successful as theirs requires alot of hard work, unwanted but necessary travel and upheaval, commitment and pressure… whatdyathink?

It’s not so much the Beckhams per se that I object to; in fact I quite agree with your little list of attributes (except perhaps the ‘worked hard to…’ bit), but more the way that the media idolise them.
They could also do with taking themselves just a teensie little bit less seriously…dontchathink?

I’m a huge supporter of the Beckhams.
Married (still married) 3 children who all have the same parents and said parents don’t do drugs, fall out of nightclubs etc.
VB was wealthy in her own right when she met him and together they built a company.
The fact that he is a footballer and she was in a girl band is irrelevant. They still worked hard to get where they are.
Good luck to them both. I’d be proud of them if they were my kids.
Unlike say… Kerry Katona, Jodie Marsh, Ashley Cole, et al.

Probaly a couple of Ferrari and Lamborghini pedal cars, with a miniature Bentley that a chauffeur has to pedal for him while he sits in the back with a Sunny-D cocktail.

Obviously Romeo is being coached by Dad so he too can be a professional footballer
and fashion icon so the Beckhams can be supported in their old age.!
