The ice-cream was chocolate.
“Sadly, the Maddie tragedy is attracting its fair-share of attention seekers”
The Sun’s front page says the ice-cream was cold and sweet – just how Maddie likes them!
“It seems unlikely that Europe’s most instantly recognisable child would be walked through city streets by her abductors.”
More likely she’d stop and be bought an ice cream…
“But if convincing reports of sightings continue, Scotland Yard should set up a Maddie squad capable of moving instantly anywhere in Europe.”

I cannot help to stay worried. I’m sorry.
From what I’ve seen of Meejician when she was still a frequent poster, is that she’s very empathic and can take things very personal.
I’m not “happy” with the capitals … that’s all.

I was just trying to reassure you that I think she will be ok, understandably upset of course. But she may be in touch with his family, and things like that?

A few things……
I think they were not grilled again after the initial interrogation because the someone who had something to hide was backed up politically causing the Portugese Government to dampen it all down. This something IMO would most likely involve sex, drugs and maybe create links to other crimes unknown or unsolved thus maybe dragging in others. “It could be the tip of an eyesberg.
They wouldn’t let that child sing on stage in China because she was ugly. Any chance of using this method on Garth, Gundolf, Daisy, C&C, Maria, Gailen etc in regards to prohibiting fawning diversionary postings? In my world C&C qualifies but I admit to not seeing the others.

I can’t see any mystery in the whole thing. I take Amaral’s position quite firmly.
Every day another steaming crock of crap is served with bollocks and tripe on the side and I find it embarrassing that the State and Establishment are prepared to do what they are doing in this instance.
I could understand it if it was in the public interest not to tell us - but then this begs the question ……… lol
Why is it not in our interests to know what really happened?

I will be on and off Karen Kitten - coz I have a wee bit of work to do in real life.

I would like to know a bit more about LP plods and how they liaised with the police that liaised with the police in Porugal - and how cosy chats took place at Rothley instead of at the nick all the time.

Petermac’s excellent and candid last post reminded me that I could never understand why the Clan weren’t grilled, grilled, grilled and boiled in Portugal. I would not have the let the fuckers rest. I would have shone lights in their eyes until I was absolutely sure.
So it looks like somebody got in the way and made sure that the police went into farcical mode and spent ludicrous amounts of money on red herrings when they had all those sardines in the area right next to them!

I often wonder what motivates people to post on here! I sit here thinking - Why don’t they fuck off and browse the holiday pages or play on Google Earth?
Before I came across Anorak I played on ebay and Google Earth and nothing else lol.
I wouldn’t sit here day after day wasting my time talking to strangers about something I wasn’t interested in - it doesn’t make sense to me.
What motivates these people - money? Relatives and mates in distress?

I still don’t get why some people are sooooooo keen on defending the McCanns. Gerry is a bit smarmy and Kate is bit narky - even if they do have other qualities - and this relentless limelight hogging is a condition of the soul and nothing to do with finding the kid.
