Madeleine McCann In Malaysia

mccann-candle-300x144 Madeleine McCann In MalaysiaMADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann

NEW STRAITS TIMES: “Keep the candle lit”

Spotting our Maddy in Malaysia?

A YEAR after the abduction and murder of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, we must take pause to observe this sad anniversary in all sympathy for her bereaved family — as indeed for that of Sharlinie Nashar, lost in similar circumstances eight months ago and not yet found.

Other children go missing.

The contrasting fates of the children in these two cases raised the most awful conundrum: would it be kinder for such families to know their child is dead, to retrieve her remains for a proper burial in a consecrated grave where they might mourn and pray for her, or to never know what became of her, the better for hope to remain? Such unthinkable dilemmas are universal; the cases of Briton Madeleine McCann last year, American Jon- Benet Ramsey in 1996, and even the Azaria Chamberlain “dingo” case in Australia 28 years ago, all strike to the same depth of anguish.

Ramsey was fond dead 8 months after she went missing. Chamberlain’s body was never found.

The press sees Madeleine McCann buying party goods in Amsterdam…

And have all struck the hearts and minds of everyday folk - as being highly suspicious!

    morning coco :)

    FITH

  7. 7 just_me Says:

sorry Gailen, beat you to 2nd :) morning :)

  8. 8 coco Says:

And ………. I reckon it’s only Aliens from other planets that could possibly have been involved in the ‘disappearances’. I believe in Alien-Dingos as well though!

  9. 9 just_me Says:

coco where did your 2nd post appear from, it wasnt showing a second ago…. damn.. 3rd then lol

  10. 10 Gailen Says:

It would be terrible not to know where your child is and what they are going through. If their body is found at least you have closure.

  11. 11 just_me Says:

off out in 15 mins, to take my son to get his GCSE results, I’m more nervous than he is lol

  12. 12 coco Says:

JUST_ME! Gerry Glitter! LOL! Still grinning here like a dingo! Or is it a Cheshire cat!

  13. 13 just_me Says:

pmsl coco :) will have to think up a new pic later :)

  14. 14 coco Says:

Just_me! If he’s got an ounce of you in him - he will have done excellently!

Just re-read an article on M’s DNA - where it’s possible that G may be or may not be the donor of sperm and may know or may not know if he’s the biological parent.

People who dared to suggest that he was probably not or possibly not the father are just wicked to have even suggested this - and I’m sure Clarrie-Sage agrees with me.

Where are the FSS results? Why are they not in the Press yet? First things my detective-head wants to know at this point in my investigation!

  15. 15 coco Says:

Just_me! It’s not just the pic. I thought it was fab that he’s GERRY Glitter! Hope you don’t mind that I have saved him.

When my friend arrived yesterday I showed him with wig, without wig - with wig, without wig - with wig, without wig - and it was all very childish - considering she had called to see some proper work that I should have produced yesterday.

  16. 16 just_me Says:

    catch you all later x

    ………………………………

Too right Gailen! I sometimes comfort myself with the fact that statistically and generally it’s somebody in the family wot dun it and so at least somebody knows the truth.

But I know what you mean. A woman I worked with years ago had a daughter go missing and she was distraught.

Three weeks later - it emerged that she was having a break from the old bag at a rented cottage in the Cotswolds with her estranged Father.

All’s well that ends well then!

A feature on Kate McCann in Bella mag this week. Not online though….. you’ll have to stand in WHS and read it. ;)

  19. 19 coco Says:

    coolandcalm …………

Given that you have informed everybody of one of your hobbies ……..

Do you think that it is morally correct to sdvocate and actively encourage people to do this?

When you know the profit margins of magazines that are struggling to keep up with competition?

I am very concerned about your morals. Tut tut! I think this is far worse than dvd and cd piracy.

  23. 23 Abraham Zapruder Says:

Some interesting stuff from Paulo Reis today, how Gerry met Clarry, not sure if I’m allowed to post/link it here. Apparently Clarry was interviewed by LP at the end of April this year, a couple of weeks (?) after the T7 Enderby interviews.

  24. 24 coco Says:

AZ! Hi! Will have a quick look. I’m still waiting for something you promised we’d find out about a week or so ago. Was it the 24 photo-jobbies?

  25. 25 sam Says:

good morning, nothing new by the looks of it. coco, you make me laugh :)

  26. 26 just_me Says:

    :) :) :) I’m a happy proud mummy :) :) :)

  27. 27 sam Says:

hi, just_ me, you are ? :)

  28. 28 Abraham Zapruder Says:

Coco, did I promise something? I can’t remember. I just have a personal theory that the Paraiso footage supposedly didn’t exist (we were told this for many months, “too grainy” or whatever) but then was pulled out like a rabbit from a hat.

Something bothers me, as Columbo would say, in that Clarry had a perfectly good job with the govt then apparently gave it up and flew out to PDL with Gerry 22 May 07 (ish). Wasn’t this at a time when we were all hoping Maddy would turn up any moment? Why give up a steady secure job (with the govt) for one (with BK) that could come to an end the next day? We are told BK is Clarry’s present employer, does anything else connect them?

  29. 29 coco Says:

    AZ! Scrutiny! Scrutiny!

Let us hope that the Blessed Clarrie-Sage stands up to the scrutiny of LP. I’m sure he will - somehow. lol

However - when the chips are down -will he stand up to some of the PJ stuff.

I’ll just rake my chips in and wait for the Milk Tray Men to hedge their bets first!

Am I right in thinking that wee Sarah Brown (married to wee Gordie) used to work with a woman wot used to work with an editorial outfit wot they left to form their own editorial outfit wot Sarah does not work for no more and everything ……… Or am I talking bollocks and dreaming all this? lol

    ++++
Bothers me [and others] too, just like brother John giving up his job with AstraZenica. IMO there are so many early indications that this was expected to be a long-running affair…
