Madeleine McCann: Stephanie Bysh And Ariella Encroach On Praia Da Luz

MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann

STEPHANIE Bysh is mother to Ariella d’Gama, who has passed a while in a children’s home.

What has it got to do with Madeleine McCann. Well, get this:

DAILY MAIL: “British mother whose daughter was taken into care by Portuguese police after she ‘went out drinking’”

A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.

Yes, just five miles.

Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.

The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.

Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…

Such are the facts…

  5. 5 Pamela Says:

And she was found by a cadaver dog.

  6. 6 Pamela Says:

I thought these were just ordinary tourists? Is the child’s father actually Portugese? Perhaps a policeman then? Prodigy of Amaral? Hell, maybe the child IS Madeleine! The plot would have been foolproof, if only British women weren’t such sots.

  7. 7 Pamela Says:

I promise, if y’all would just urge the BIL to play his damn turn a little faster, I’d go away!

  8. 8 coolandcalm Says:

Pamela… I thought someone said Facebook Scrabble was being withdrawn after complaints from Hasbro(?) A friend of mine is addicted. Mind you Facebook itself is an addiction.
(forgot to change threads first time posted)

ANORAK…… I wondered how long it would be before it was ‘discovered’ that the mother had been drinking in the Tapas bar last year.. AHA. Eye witness, in exchange for plane fare back to UK!

  9. 9 Pamela Says:

C&C, No, this is AMURCAH, damn it–they worked out a licensing deal! : )

It was the unlicensed “Scrabulous” that bought new shoes and Coach cases for Hasbro’s attorneys. (Buy stock; they’ll sell more Scrabble this Christmas than for the past twenty years combined!)

  10. 10 coolandcalm Says:

Aha, yes of course. Scrabulous! That was the one…… I never even looked at it as I am very addictive. have had to delete Minesweeper and Tetris from my PC.

  11. 11 jass Says:

I think SBJ (is that right initials?) made an excellent point.

The Paynes have two little girls, aged one and two last May.

Yet the airport and airport bus videos show a child as big and “3 yr old” looking as Madeleine, walking up the plane steps, sitting next to M, etc.

Is this why the family tried to imply M was really undersized for nearly four? To account for her being the same size as the little girl with her in the videos?

  12. 12 jass Says:

I mean May 2007 of course.

But if the child isn’t a little Payne girl, it means the films are from another holiday.

  13. 13 Pamela Says:

Yessss, that must be it. Pity passport control didn’t count heads.

Dear Lord, I’ve heard it all and slain my BIL on Scrabble, so I’m off. Regards!

  14. 14 jass Says:

The child near in age and size to Madeleine was Tanner’s eldest child.

    That family travelled separately.

It would be interesting to identify the children in the grainy Paraiso photo. The child on O’Brien’s lap does look very like Madeleine.

  15. 15 clouseau Says:

    whos next to obrain?

  16. 16 The Real Stig Says:

Did the nannies in the creche not ever see Madeleine then? Was the Airline unaccountably lax in not checking passports when checking in, Were the Airport security people not on the ball in checking the passports and boarding cards when going through security, not to forget the third check of passports when finally boarding the plane?

Then of course there is the checking of passports by Portuguese authorities on arrival also.

Modern air travel generates probably the most comprehensive, verifiable and secure identification data trail in modern society. The data is never deleted.

Go bark up another tree, this one has no leaves, twigs, branches, bark, trunk or roots. It’s as dead as the parrot in the Monty Python sketch - all hail the mighty Python!

  17. 17 whoops Says:

The Real Stig-When did common sense ever come into this equation?

  18. 18 Julie Says:

I’ve just finished reading the previous thread … it should be seen as a huge embarrasment to this site! I’m surprised that many of the posts that are still there were allowed to stand!

I thought this site was meant to be satirical (sometimes very serious on the MM thread), but some of the posts there were just plain filth! Cyber-bullying at its best!

The absence of some very decent posters and Mods …. Noseycow, Fair, Secret, Duncan, Carmen .. (to name a few - and apologies to those I left out) - makes me realise that the decision I made to no longer be a regular poster here was the right one!

I’ve always believed in the saying “lead by example” ……. I guess if the lead isn’t an example then something is desperately wrong!

  19. 19 coolandcalm Says:

Julie… you are right of course. There is a way to bicker and disagree… ( you and I have bickered in the past ;) but some of the ad hominen insults and gratuitous bad language that have been allowed today are quite outside of normal boundaries.
    Strange but true!

It will be a shame if you also go…..

“The Real Stig-When did common sense ever come into this equation?”

The minute I showed up? ;-)

  21. 21 whoops Says:

Julie-agree entirely-I was called a half fuck-wit for saying that I agreed with something Totje said-I’ve decided to scroll Coco’s post as she seems IMo to have real problems expressing herself if someone doesn’t agree with every crumb she spouts. In fact I might just watch from the sidelines for the time being-I really can’t be bothered to take insults for expressing an opinion. Harumph!!!!

  22. 22 jass Says:

    Julie,

    You’re being a bit precious.

The site hasn’t suddenly gone downhill.
It was pretty downhill when it was infested by a hideous piece of work named Red Rooster…whose swearing, bullying and general offensiveness Garth seems eager to perpetuate.

  23. 23 doris Says:

what a shame the posters wont be around to see developments especially girly garth , anorak someone has made bad decision i fear and i do know what i am talking about

  24. 24 The Real Stig Says:

    Julie

    Good evening Julie

My first post well 90% of it - was modded right out of existence. It was both satirical and allegorical, but Artemis Foul took exception to it because - shock horror - it had S&M references.

Could you just confirm something for me please Julie. I seem to recall you and Garth mentioning whips - and the use thereof - in some of your spirited exchanges. That did happen didn’t it? I’m not imagining it?

  25. 25 doris Says:

I would like to identify myself but dont think i shall be allowed , mark my words action is being taken and some - only some would wish they had been involved , God bless Madeleine and I promise justice will be done

  26. 26 coolandcalm Says:

Sorry Jass, but IMO the Rooster was a model of decorum in comparison to some of the posters who are rampaging at the moment!
General manners shouldn’t take sides. I’ve disagreed with many here and of course they have with me but the majority don’t stoop to some of the personal stuff going around right now.
    IMO its bad for Anorak.

    Julie,

    You’re being a bit precious.
    ____________________________
Do you actually mean precocious? I’ve no idea how to spell it, but I assume that’s what you mean. I’m precious to those who love me …….

  28. 28 Marie Nicholas Says:

    Julie

Ignoring the bullies is the best way of dealing with them, according to me. They can’t do much harm as long as all they can do is post, and every one on the site can read their posts and see how stupid they are. Not a big deal according to me. Lone pigeon is right to give it a stop, though, and I agree with you we miss Noseycow, Duncan and Carmen very much. But there are still plenty of interesting posters. If you dont post on this site any more, Julie, you leave the ground to people who are less intereting than you.

  29. 29 coolandcalm Says:

Ah go on Doris.. identify yourself. Go on go on go on…

  30. 30 doris Says:

no not to you , you are so clever who am i ?
