Madeleine McCann: Stephanie Bysh And Ariella Encroach On Praia Da Luz
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
STEPHANIE Bysh is mother to Ariella d’Gama, who has passed a while in a children’s home.
What has it got to do with Madeleine McCann. Well, get this:
DAILY MAIL: “British mother whose daughter was taken into care by Portuguese police after she ‘went out drinking’”
A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.
Yes, just five miles.
Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.
The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…
Such are the facts…

I would have thought it was up to the PJ to request assistance if required
in any case.
LP were already assisting…did they discuss the possibility of making such an
invitaion with the PJ ?

Good morning,brandon.
It doesn’t actually say “in May 2007″.
Could have been any time later.
September 1st, 2008 at 8:31 am
So Britain’s most senior murder investigator thought the PJ needed their help in May 2007——- How very interesting !!!!

Maddy cops vetoed Brit help offer
By Jon Clements Crime Correspondent 1/09/2008
EXCLUSIVE INVESTIGATION
Portuguese police turned down an offer to help find Madeleine McCann from Britain’s most senior murder investigator, it has emerged.
Durham Chief Constable John Stoddart wanted to send a team of elite detectives to Praia da Luz after she went missing in 2007.
But Stoddart, chair of the Association of Chief Police Officers’ Homicide Working Group, was “disappointed” when the Policia Judiciaria vetoed the idea.
He said: “I would like to have sent a team out there to provide some support to the investigation team.
“I’m disappointed that we couldn’t help out. I think we would have provided some expert advice and support.”
The McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “It is not surprising. However, our own investigations continue and we are following up several leads.”

I hope Clarence is referring to the ones round Eddie and Keelas necks

annie1! I’m sure you spread love and light wherever you land. Good for you! Great for people-watching too!
And don’t ever think I take these idiots to heart - I would have left last year if I had lol. Enjoy your day out.
September 1st, 2008 at 2:57 am
lol - I just buzz off on the bus - to show I can! My real life is running two gas guzzling cars, but I like the idea of getting something for nothing, so just occasionally I get up early and go as far as I can for free with my oap bus pass. I come across some lovely folk and go for lunch - then its a race against time to get a bus back - I live in a very rural area where there is never a bus after 5pm. I have many times got as far as I can and had to ring the family to pick me up as I have reached the point of no return!! I have a mission next week - my six year old granddaughter is going to teach me to swim UNDERWATER!! You may well never see me on here again.!! Good luck coco - please dont take anything to heart - its just sados who have nobody else to wind up.
September 1st, 2008 at 2:49 am
annie1 ……. Have a lovely day out and I hope the weather is fine for you. You are a kind Soul and a generous poster. I’ve seen you on here before.
Love the bit about toe nails. lol Don’t tell me I’m wasting all my time having pedicures and reflexology! I might as well stop now and save myself a fortune.
September 1st, 2008 at 2:39 am
coco - I make no apologies to anyone for my views. I think that the McCanns should have been hung drawn and quartered for leaving their kids that night. Like everyone else, I have not a grain of proof that they are guilty of anything else - but guilty of neglect they certainly are. Everyone gets wound up sometimes, and I suppose that the ones who have no REAL people to vent their feelings on - use sites such as this. Sad, really sad, isnt it? Anyway - I’m off to hit the sack - there is a whole new day ahead of us, and my bus pass will take me as far as I can get - for free, so I shall be up at 7 to take advantage of the day.
Goodnight, God Bless anyone who feels the need for it. Look after you and yours, and quite honestly, that is really all that matters. We all want justice - particularly when a child or minor is involved, but unfortunately circumstances sometimes go against us. Its a bit like an ingrowing toenail. You look after them for years, they respond to the cutting, filing, polishing and so on. - then - bloody hell - they turn on you and cause pain…
September 1st, 2008 at 2:26 am
annie1 - Utterly shocking.
September 1st, 2008 at 2:25 am
annie1 - I don’t think she’s at all angry to be honest. I think she just likes to start a debate and then when she’s bored she goes for somebody. Sometimes it’s me! Again!
Because I have used naughty words she decides to go for me so that she has something to say to the other posters lol.
I seem to be constantly having to defend myself to these silly rotters - all because I disagree that the Clan are not telling the World that they are sorry that they did not look after their children properly.
It sends out the wrong message to the unwashed and ill-bred in the UK.
I don’t want people all over the World to think that we have a culture that agrees that this is an OK thing to do.
Clearance annoyed me when he defnded the Clan on this - and he should apologise for saying that we have this kind of culture.
September 1st, 2008 at 2:20 am
Good night to you all - I shall be waiting with baited breath tomorrow to see if the other body in the millionaire fire is the husband. I live not too very far from the house - what a terrible situation the family must have been in to have either committed or allowed such a diabolical act. My heart goes out to the kid - she deserved nothing more than the chance of a life
September 1st, 2008 at 2:15 am
Blood vessels are bursting, anger is rising and name calling is abound - and for what ?? All because we think that 2 barstools in Rothley should at least be accountable for leaving their kids alone and open to anything and any one who has the mind to take advantage of the situation. Calm down please and take stock of the siutation. It is not other posters on here who you are angry with - it is the system!!

I think Coco has nailed it in her earlier post when she says she just wants people who share her opinions on this site or don’t stand up to her rudenss and the rest of us I think she wishes would f*** off. Not really a good grounding for a discussion forum is it. I don’t mind most of the other posters she mentions-they can be humorous and have a point of view and don’t have to be offensive.
I have no idea what happened the night of May 3rd-i have some ideas and find looking at different possibilities interesting and enlightening. But if the basis of being a good anorakian is to call everybody a Fuckwit that doesn’t agree with my every word or just telling people who are discussing stuff to Fuck Off-then I’m a poor one.
I don’t find Coco amusing-but I love the wit that other posters display-both pro and anti or like me waiting to be persuaded.
COCO says: ………………………………………………………..
I have never said any of the above rubbish that you have written Poops.
You must have me terribly confused with another poster.
I have never held an opinion in my whole life - on any subject. Not once!
I have always taken an empirical view and made judgements on the facts before me. I am more than happy to be called judgemental - as I do not believe it to be a dirty word. God gave me a brain to make judgements with and that’s what I do.
I have never told anybody to fuck off because they don’t agree with me.
I have only ever defended mine and other posters right to post - without some stuck-up old bags acting like kids who have just discovered swear-words. And then behaving like prissy arses - just like you are still doing!
Incidentally - I can see you are definitely not the types to have ever been attractive enough to have flattened much grass when you were younger either! lol.
In fact I am always curious as to what kind of partners would ever choose to live with such pathetic creatures as some of you. The poor bastards must be fucking worn down with you all. Or alcoholics and golf-mad.
Care to show me where I said the basis of being a good Anorakian was to call everybody a Fuck-Wit? You complete idiot - and I will buy you an apartment in PDL.
Scroll straight past my posts - and watch what you write on here in future Poops - you lingering Fart.
Read The Files and watch what hasn’t been barred from the Web.
That’s where I get my facts from. Off Frilly Philly, the Healys and the Clan’s own mealy little thin-lipped mouths. I need nothing beyond that Smart-Arse. You don’t even have a fucking clue what I think happened to M - because I have never said.
This is your last direct reply from me. Go and get yourself a job as a lollipop lady if you like gossiping and keeping kids safe.
You are about as much use as a condom with holes in it on here!
So guess what? - You have never amused me either - Just made me wonder what makes your type of breed tick.
Tock!

Bugger! I have missed Jo and Clouseau and Jass and Lone Pigeon
! Hi Guys - Thanks for your refreshingly open and honest posts. I get sick of reading all the sh*te from the Sycophantics - as in Psycho-Fantasists!!!

Chatelaine and Saint Marie Nicholas - sorry I have missed you both. I am catching up on your posts ladies - as always.
Lots of drivel for me to have waded past in order to get to your posts tonight but at least I am cheered by what you have both written. Thanks.

Has anybody read about these five woman in Pakistan, who were buried alive because they wanted to be free to choose their husbands themselves.
Three of them only teenagers….

Must share this with you though before I catch up on all the insults properly.
Years ago - when I rescued a sick little cat his little bum used to explode and this thick, slimy, sludgey, green, smelly stuff would ooze out of him, because of the medication the vets gave him.
My partner used to say he’s done a WHOOPS! Lol!
It was a REAL STINK coming out of his GARSEHOLE and when we had him neutered he became a mincing Queen - so we called him RASPUTIN!!!
When he sat on my knee he was HOTANDCLAMMY and we used to sponge him down with an ALCOHOL SOAKED SPONGE.
Felt compelled to share this with you.

I think they archived it under “disappearence”.

Thank you, Sam. And good night 2u2.
Does anyone have a reliable English, French or German translation of this?
Think I understand in Portuguese, but want to be sure.
And does this say HOW the case is archived?

Chère Marie! Seems we’re the only ones on-line at the moment. Vive la France
So sorry for you. No mosquitos here: I have martinets cleaning in the back of the house and chauve-souris cleaning in the front…:-) The temperatures are pleasantly warm at daytime and the nights are cool [have been all the time this summer]. A little thunder storm at the moment and some rain forecasted for the next days; spares time to spray the gardens - count your blessings
Good night again.
Sure we’ll find the official text somewhere tomorrow!

Bone Nuit Châtelaine!
I am fighting mosquitoes. It is still very warm, and there is dampness in the air. It will be lovely again in September.
August 31st, 2008 at 11:37 pm
Thank you Châtelaine. I asked the same from the French journalist, he said he didn’t know. (I don’t think he got very far into the case, just wrote an article about it, but now seems quite interested! His style in French is flowing, and he conveys his ideas in a simple but effective manner. He seems more synthetic than analytic, with a good view for the whole and for the structure, but no great interest for small details, except a few which he finds relevant I should think). Still a journalist writing about a case shouldn’t allow himself any inaccuracies in my opinion. The Americans are excellent at that.
Anyway, how the Portuguese Ministère Public archived the case may give us an idea of how they will follow up with the investigation, if they do, and how they see the case at this point.
August 31st, 2008 at 11:35 pm
Marie, Friday may be maybe possible, but not sure as will arrive some time between 16:00 and 22:00 … So, yes, let’s try Saturday. My place, invite …
PS still no success re official filing text of the case. Will have to wait, have to turn in, heavy programme for next week. Nice talking to you
Bonne nuit.
August 31st, 2008 at 11:25 pm
Châtelaine,
I am giving a class on the 15th of October in a foreign country up North, need to be there the day before, and will probably leave from here on the Sunday at the latest. Let us say Saturday 11, unless possible on the friday? I’ll confirm as soon as I have bought my tickets.
August 31st, 2008 at 11:22 pm
Marie, I’m googling “like mad” to try and find “official” text and docs about the shelving of the case, but haven’t been very successful yet. Lots of press about it, but …
August 31st, 2008 at 11:14 pm
Châtelaine,
I’ll get our common friends to give you my e-mail address when I see them, in about 10 days’time. Maybe they can give me yours too. I’ll check my dates in October.
August 31st, 2008 at 11:11 pm
Châtelaine,
One more strange thing about the case…
Do you know Châtelaine if the case has been eventually archived as a disappearance, kidnapping, or homicide ? I read in July that it would be archived under “hmicide and concealment of the body”. But I’d like to know if it is true.
