In his most sickening outburst yet, sacked Amaral said Gerry went back days later to move her body so the police would never find it.
What a complete swine. Did the McCanns’ dignify that with a reply? Surely not…

Good morning, I visit you again your home is very interesting with different people.
I am following things for a few weeks now, many interesting things many different people. Your person Rasputin is how you say very direct many I think like I am puzzled by this posters approach. To myself it stings of authority, Germans are used to authority it is our way of life. Can this person be some kind of official, Coco who makes me smile says about police, is very possible. The poster Rasputin is not a fool, posts are mostly crisp and fact laden. Sometimes I think this person knows many more things than we do and then I think this is not possible, or perhaps it is.
I am hoping Madleine is being found safe and in healthy way, I think we all do.

I’m off to sound my mates out about a soiree we all had a few days ago.

Because it suits them. Exactly the way that people I arrested were full of complaints about the way I had handled them during the arrest, wanting solicitors, wanting to make official complaints of assault, wanting their “Rights”, - but went very quiet when they were asked precisely what they were doing being caught red-handed by me, in someone else’s house at 3 in the morning with a torch and big bag of the house-owner’s silverware.
The it was all “Right to remain silent”, “My client does not wish to answer that question, and You, Officer, have no right to keep putting the question in that aggressive manner.”

CHERYL ……. Given the atrocious way that Amaral has been portrayed by Clearance and the Clan - not to mention his superiors in the early days - do you not agree that he has to be ’self-serving’?
I say this because I am a great believer in the fact that God helps them who help themselves.
Cheryl - I think you and I have a fair idea about what it’s like to be the under-dog - even if it’s only when we’re on Anorak - lol!.
Therefore we should not blame Amaral for trying to clear his name.
Amaral had to be very dignified and stay out of the limelight until his official retirement. He did this with a humility and generosity that we have rarely seen in the UK police force for many years.
UK coppers rarely write books - they just ring the newspapers and slag everybody off for a couple of thousand pounds - and that’s the end of it.
Don’t think that I am terribly pro-cop in my support of Amaral- because I am fully aware of the worsening low standards in British policing since the early 1980s.
In the UK, coppers used to have create their own work and be pro-active. Nowadays - due to the enormous piles of paper-work they have to complete - they have become extremely lazy in any kind of pro-activity - not least because they don’t have the time to do any actual policing these days. It’s easier for them to turn a blind eye.
Amaral is a product left over from a bye-gone era - and in my expert judgement I would wish those days back - but it’s terribly un-PC to say it anymore.
Oh - for the days that people used to stand before Judges exaggerating their having been rolled up in a carpet and beaten with ash-trays! lol
All that poor Amaral wants is a fair hearing of his side of the story.
It is unarguable that the Establishment prevented him carrying out his duties to the best of his abilities.
The Clan have dropped bollock after bollock after bollock and he is quite rightly pointing these out.
From Frilly Philly with the bulging eyes to JT- we have learned that the Clan have prevaricated and dissembled more than they should have done - and Amaral has a theory and a few facts that don’t quite fit together.
In God I trust and may He give Amaral the strength to tell us the truth of his convictions.
