For Germans The War On Terror Is Over
“GERMANS play games while our boys fight,” says the Sun.
The Anorak’s initial response to news that Germans are “war-shy” is to jump in the air for joy, delighted that there is no German equivalent to the motto “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again”.
But the Sun seems upset that the Germans have branded themselves “cake–eaters”.
News is that over in Afghanistan while British fighters do battle in the southern part of the country, the Germans are eating Black Forest Gateau and, as the picture shows, practising penalties in games of table football.
The Sun has seen a “secret memo” penned by German “military chiefs” which mentions “cake-eating Germans in the North”. The Germans have been told “NOT to talk about a recent German operation” and have “tried to cover up exactly how little their troops are doing”.
Indeed, dear reader. It is a case of don’t mention the war. Or, as the memo says: “Don’t mention ze var”…

The US & British forces are there to perform aggresive missions (attack/destroy/shoot people and so on…)
The ISAF (Germany, Austria, Hungary,…) are there for humanity missions (protect, rebuild, recover)

Yes, humanity missions, as long as the humans are less than two hours away from the base. And don’t need help after lunchtime.
