BARCELONA president Sandro Rosell puts his hand on his hip, a metal dish on his head and spouts about black pots:

How Barcelona’s Lionel Messi triggered a race war

IS Lionel Messi racist? No. He isn’t. He plays football with black players. He does not differentiate between black and white opponents when skipping past them to score for Barcelona. He passes to anyone and everyone in his team. He shakes hands with black and white players. On the hand, arguing for the prosecution, is Dutch footballer Royston Drenthe, a former Real Madrid player now on loan at Everton who says Messi called him a “negro”:

“I played many times against Messi and we always had problems with one another. You know what bothers me so much? That tone with which he always says, ‘negro, negro’. I understand that ‘negro’ is commonly used in South America. But we can’t stand it.”

You might suppose this were a trivial matter, one between the two players. But in the cauldron of anti-racism, where the champions of zero-tolerance seek out racism, the single allegation is front-page news in the Sun, Britain’s biggest-selling paper.

Cynical Barcelona Begin The Long Job Of Tapping Up Spurs Gareth Bale

IS Spurs winger Gareth Bale off to Barcelona? Not yet. But already the club are tap-tap-tapping him up. Here’s president Sandro Rosell.

“I do not know if Bale interests us,” Rosell told Al Jazeera. “If I did, I would not say, because his price would go up. [Tottenham] would not ask for €40million [£33.2m], but €50m [£42.8m]. In any case, even if we wanted him, we would never pay €40m for him.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Book Is A Barcelona Hating Self-Aggrandising Joy

ZLATAN Ibrahimovic – Malmö FF, Ajax, Juventus, Internazionale, Barcelona, A.C. Milan – has written a book about being Zlatan. We’ve got soem extracts from the work Jar Är Zlatan’ (I Am Zlatan). The book promises to be a classic:

1. “I got a bike when I was little, a BMX. I called it ‘Fido Dido’ after the tough little cartoon guy with spiked hair. I thought he was the coolest thing ever.

“The bike got stolen outside of the Rosengård swimming baths and Dad went there with his shirt open and sleeves rolled up. He’s the kind of person that says: ‘No one touches my kids! No one takes their stuff’. But not even a tough guy like him could do anything about it. Fido Dido was gone, and I was crushed.”

2. “I felt like crap when I was sitting in the locker room with Guardiola staring at me like I was an annoying distraction, an outsider. It was nuts. He was a wall, a stone wall. I didn’t get any sign of life from him and I was wishing myself away every moment with the team.”

Real Madrid Newspaper Marca Says Barcelona And Real Are Sponsored By Mad Muslims

HOW does Spanish hack Miguel Serrano cover the news that Barcelona has signed a €165million sponsorship deal signed with the Qatar Foundation. He writes in Real Madrid support sheet  Marca:

“Thanks the word revealed by the Ayatollah Pep, FC Barça has turned into FC Burka. Against the traditional ‘Hala Madrid’ the culés can now say ‘Allah, Barça!’ After putting themselves into Arab hands the prohibitions will begin. Now you can’t smoke in the Camp Nou. Don’t rule out making the players wear turbans or do stonings every Thursday. Now Barça really is more than just a club: it’s an Emirate.”

Cesc Fabregas Goes. Arsene Loses Plot? The Unanswered Questions

LIKE most Arsenal fans I am a little sad, but not too surprised at Cesc Fabregas’ move to Barcelona. To be fair we did well to hang on to him last summer and he was always going to go this time round. I think too that the player has behaved impeccably and leaves Arsenal with a degree of dignity.

There are however a few questions that need answering asap

1 Is Arsene losing the plot? It is not 24 hours since he said that no players were leaving Arsenal. He must have known that the deal was imminent when he said this. Is it a case of wishful thinking or is he genuinely losing it?

Champions League Final Photos: Lionel Messi, 39,000 Steps And Pique’s Flower Arranging

LIONEL Messi is the wonder who won the Champions League for Barcelona. He then joined the lads in a game of ring a ring o’ roses around the Wembley centre circle. This was after the team had climbed the fabled 39,000 steps to collect the cup – a cup which Gerard Pique caressed and surveyed as though he was about to stick some flowers in it and get down to the serious business of arranging the ribbons…

Champions League Final Photos: Let’s All Cheer Man United And Hate Barcelona

THE Champions League Final – the pinnacle of club football, where the richest club wins and the money men dance. Oh, cyncial much. Well, granted, the cup is still dusted in magic. But get a load of Barcelona, with their “more than a club” bilge rammed down your throat. It’s so irksome. The club that plays great football also plays to get an opponent sent off. Barcelona is not more than a club. It is a club sponsored by the Qatar Foundation – as in Qatar, the country staging the corrupt 2022 World Cup in temperatures your oven cannot reach – a place blessed with a football infrastructure slighly less advanced than a Surrey five-a-side youth Cup. Is it ok to hate Barcelona. Yes, feel free. They are the most cynical outfit in world football…
