Bolton Burglars Leave Trail Of Ice To Stolen Boiler
TO Bolton, where burglars have stolen a boiler from an empty house in Firs Lane, Leigh.
Police see the broken door to the kitchen. They see where the boiler once stood. Then they look at the ground and see that the boiler is leaking water. The waster has frozen, leaving a trail of ice.
The trail ends four doors away. Two men are arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Says Chief Inspector Clara Williams:
“This is an excellent example of some good old fashioned police work.”
