2009 trend alert – gadgets with guns
In these recessionary times what better way to forget your fiscal troubles than by blowing away a few dumb animals. Except of course to own a gun in the UK at least, you need to be in the same Freemasons Lodge as your local chief police fella.
Besides shooting ducks isn’t as much fun for the ducks as it is for you. No matter though for Wowee, those people who specialise in odd but very brainy robots, have just unveiled the Duckhunter. It is basically a cheapo version of a flying robot designed to look like a duck. The difference is that it comes with its own shooter enabling you to blast it from the skies to your heart’s content.
Given that each time Wowee invents something half a million Far Eastern companies rip it off within weeks I am predicting a big 2009 for gadgets with guns.
