Against Me! singer to change gender even though America can’t handle the idea of gay marriage
WHILE half of America shouts loudly about how much it hates the gays, it is with unimaginable bravery that Against Me! singer, Tom Gabel, announces that after years of living with gender dysphoria for years, he is to become she and start living life as Laura Jane Grace.
Gender dysphoria is not a laughing matter (despite the hooting that surrounded Lady GaGa’s non-penis) and changing your sex is surely one of the most difficult decisions a human can make. Yet, you can almost hear the catcalls from those who are steadfast in their unwillingness to understand the situation.

Cher and Chaz Bono rock the GLAAD Awards – photos
TO the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards to see Cher get with her transgender child Chaz Bono. Cher gave her son GLAAD’s Stephen F. Kolzak Award for the documentary Becoming Chaz, the story of his change from a woman to a man.
Answers on a postcard as to what Cher is turning into (and if Obama would eat it).

Cher’s Daughter Chastity Bono Will Not Shave Behind Chaz’s Ears
CHAZ Bono was once Chastity Bono, daughter to singing hat pin Cher and the late Sonny Bono, of the pendant moustache. Chaz is talking to Entertainment Tonight about her change:
“Most people call it top surgery. The construction of the male chest from a female chest. When I went through puberty and started to grow breasts, it was very uncomfortable and emotional.”
Anorak’s pictures a post-op chest like Peter Andre’s. Entertainment Tonight’s Mary Hart nods along, waiting to pose the big question. Chaz. Chaz… How big is your penis? Of course, the TV show cares too much to ask it, so instead we hear her ask about surgical procedures “elsewhere?”
