Employer pays compensation to woman injured during sex on business trip

THE Australian Federal Court says the woman who injured herself during sex on a business trip is entitled to compensation. Because she was away from home, and thus on work time, when the accident occurred the injury was down to her employer’s neglect.

Army Vet Tilern DeBique Wins £17,016 And Urban Camouflage Award

TILERN DeBique, 28, was spotted leaving an industrial tribunal in Holborn central London, after winning £17,016 compensation from the Ministry of Defence. She used to be in the Army and by the looks of her she seems to have learnt much of urban camouflage in a hostile environment. DeBique was monstered in the tabloids for requesting £1.1 million compo for sexual discrimination. Or was it £500,000? At least all media could agree that DeBique is a single mother, and therefore worthy of scorn.

The Mail did more maths and compared her to “severely-wounded paratrooper Ben Parkinson was offered a paltry £152,000”. (How much he wanted is not said.)

And in the end she got just over £17k. So, the media firestorm was over nothing much…
