10TH June : On this day in 1993 comedian Les Dawson died from a heart attack aged 62. Comedian Les Dawson as Ada the cook, in the pantomime Dick Whittington at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, 19th December 1992. 8/8/99: Dawson's former comedy partner Roy Barraclough unveiled a blue plaque in his honour at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.
