David Cameron Gets Crabs In Bullingdon Britain: Cornwall Holiday Photos

DAVID Cameron has decided against heading back to Italy for the rest of his summer holidays and opted instead to spend a few days in Port Isaac, Cornwall. Perhaps the Londoner had read the Foreign Office’s latest text message for Britishers overseas. The service – launched in August – alerts citizens of Bullingdon Britain to any uprisings in the area of their trip…

DAVID Cameron’s such a bastard, inn’e? Taking services out of the glorious NHS and passing them over to outsiders. I mean, look at what they’re offering out now!

The government will open up more than £1bn of NHS services to competition from private companies and charities, the health secretary announced on Tuesday, raising fears it will lead to the privatisation of the health service.

Rebekah Brooks’ Sun, David Cameron And Ed Balls Feasted Off Baby P For Money And Votes

WHAT news of Rebekah Brooks? Well, depsite of the News of The World’s stance on John Terry (SACK THE LEADER!) and the Sun’s attitude toward’s Sharon Shoemsith (SACK THE LEADER!), the boss remains in her job.

With great timing, then, the Sun has been forced to pay copensation to Sylvia Henry, a social workers it hounded out of a job as the furore over the death of Baby P (Peter Connelly) hit the news cycle. The Sun invited its readers to sing a petition demanding Henry and other Haringey social workers be sacked. The Sun amassed 1.5m signatures for its petition, which was delivered to Downing Street.

The petition stated:

“I believe that ALL the social workers involved in the case of baby P, including Sharon Shoesmith, Maria Ward, Sylvia Henry and Gillie Christou should be sacked and never allowed to work with vulnerable children again….

The Sun cared. It cared enough to stick its logo on Baby P’s grave and keep a vigil for other caring types carrying balloons and teddies.

Ed Balls and David Cameron both waded into the debate – presenting themselves as caring dads and so blessed with a sense of right and wrong. They both sucked up to the Sun.

Cameron actually wrote an open letter in the Sun:

His face seems so familiar now, but it is still incredibly moving. More than 1.3million signed The Sun Baby P petition, each name a cry for justice. Yesterday, those cries were answered. The sackings, suspensions, resignations were long overdue.

Sun Buries Itself, David Cameron And Ed Miliband In Drugs Story: Meet Rupert Murdoch’s Tom Baldwin

THE Sun’s headline about former News of The World editor Andy Coulson is not “Former News Of The World editor arrested over hacking claims while working for Rupert Murdoch”. No. The Sun’s headline is:

“David Cameron’s former aide quizzed over hacking claims”

The Sun’s focus is on Cameron and not on its sister organ. Why? Well, self-preservation, cynicism, pragmatism and maybe – just maybe – the Sun flexing its muscles. As the Independent puts the same news:

Cameron forced to cut Murdoch and his empire loose as he tries to deflect public anger about failure to tackle the phone-hacking scandal…

David Cameron Tours Afghanistan In His Lucky Blue Shirt As Locals Laugh Inside: Photos

DAVID Cameron has been to the ANA training camp at Camp Bastion, Helmand province in south Afghanistan. He pulled on his dark blue shirt. The Cameron dark blue shirt is what the Prime Minister wears when he wants to look tough. It fails horribly. He fluctuates between looking like a villain from a 1990s shoot-em-up film checking out a bigger villain’s  private army, and a marketing executive trying to discover who stole his gold pen.

These photos are great – the locals look they are in on the joke…

The Mysterious Death Of Christopher Shale: David Cameron’s ‘Rock’ Dead In Glastonbury Toilet

WHO or what killed Christopher Shale, chairman of West Oxfordshire Conservative Association? His body was found in a Glastonbury Festival toilet in the press area at the rear of the Pyramid Stage and the Other Stage. He was 56. David Cameron, MP for Witney in Oxfordshire, says he’s lost “a close and valued friend – a big rock in my life has suddenly been rolled away”.

Who was he?

His family home is six miles from the Camerons’ constituency cottage and a short drive from the homes of Rebekah Brooks, the chief executive of News International, Elizabeth Murdoch, a board director of News Corp, and Steve Hilton, Cameron’s director of strategy in Downing Street.

Daily Telegraph Uses Canadian Student’s Work To Attack Rowan Williams And Help David Cameron

IS the Daily Telegraph attacking, sorry, “revealing” Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury ,to make life easier for David Cameron? Williams wrote an article attacking Cameron’s coalition Government. A few days later and Williams is “revealed” in that paper to be a man with subversive views. He was once left-wing radical being watched by MI5. Only, that’s not quite it at all. Richard Bartholomew digs deeper:

At the weekend, the Daily Telegraph ran a lengthy non-story about Rowan Williams:

MI5 labelled the Archbishop of Canterbury a subversive over anti-Thatcher campaigns

When he launched a stinging attack on the Coalition government over policies “for which no one voted”, the Archbishop of Canterbury put himself squarely in the centre of a political storm.

Critics accused him of political bias, claiming it was a throwback to the days when his predecessors regularly clashed with past Conservative administrations.

But perhaps they should not be too surprised, as it can be revealed that the Archbishop has a long-standing left-wing political past.

The young Rowan Williams was once labelled ‘a subversive’ by a senior MI5 officer over his involvement with a group of Marxist, Trotskyite and socialist campaigners…

The group under discussion is the Jubilee Group; however, theTelegraph has hardly “revealed” the association – as the report goes to on acknowledge (much further down), Williams “edited a series of essays ‘Catholic and Radical’ for the group” with Kenneth Leech. The Jubilee Group is also discussed in sources such as Rupert Shortt’s biography of Williams.

Cameron Fights Sexualisation Of Children: Places Sun And Mail On Top Shelf?

LIB Dem Minister Sarah Teather today watched footage of a Katy Perry music video. Sarah wants to curb the sexualisation of children in this brave new world.

David Cameron commissioned a report, which was prepared by Reg Bailey, the chief executive of the Christian charity Mothers’ Union. The report says “sexualised and gender stereotyped clothing, products and services for children are the biggest concerns for parents and many non-commercial organisations“.

If Cameron ever needed a cause to win votes and mums, he just found it. And  – yep – that is David Cameron who writes for the Sun, that champion of topless stunnas and shag ‘n’ tells. Will that paper be placed out of the reach of tiny hands?

Madeleine McCann Is Wanted – Will David Cameron Now Find Michael Dixon?

MADELEINE McCANN: Michael Dixon is missing. His brother David has written to David Cameron. The letter is open for all to read. But it did not make it to the front page of the Sun. David Cameron has yet to use that paper or any to write an open reply.

Says David Dixon:

“It’s great news for all families of Britons missing abroad that David Cameron and the Met are helping the McCanns. Now we’re asking them to do the same for us.”

Sharon Shoesmith Makes Fools Of The Sun’s David Cameron And Ed Balls

SHARON Shoesmith was unfairly sacked over the case of Baby P – the child who died at the hand of his mother, Tracey Connelley, her lover Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen. Former Children’s Secretary Ed Balls sacked her on the telly. She lost her £133,000-a-year post as Balls reacted to Opposition goading and a Sun campaign to force her out.

At last now the news media can stick to the facts, avoid sensationalism and move on? The child, Peter Connelley, suffered enough. his name should be left to rest in peace. Well, not a bit of it.

The Evening Standard says Shoesmith is in line for a “£2.5m payout“.

Madeleine McCann: Facing Facts With Lee Rainbow

MADELEINE McCann: Times is hard and members of the Metropolitan Police Force’s Governing body are rightly upset and confused by UK Premier David Cameron’s request the London Woodentops carry out a review of the strange case of missing child Madeleine McCann.

They want to know who is going to foot the bill? That answer is easy…everyone.

Cameron’s decision to involve Scotland Yard was defended by Downing Street officials as a whirlwind of complaint struck with cries of “Foul” around claims intervention was a “PR exercise”. Others say the move could take years and cost millions.

Madeleine McCann: Who Pays The Met?

MADELEINE McCann is no longer on the cover of the Sun. Kate McCann’s book is out and Our Maddie is off the front page.

Lancashire Toff Praises David Cameron For Being A ‘Toffee-Nosed Slimebag’

A TOFF has accused David Cameron of being toffee-nosed. In Lancashire:

“AN East Lancashire peer who dubbed Prime Minister David Cameron a ‘toffee-nosed slimebag’ has stood by his remarks.

Lord Tony Greaves, also a Liberal Democrat councillor in Pendle, told a national newspaper that ‘a lot of people in our party never liked Cameron’.

“Cameron behaved in a way which was dishonest and disloyal to his deputy and he should be thorough ashamed of himself,” Lord Greaves told the Lancashire Telegraph.

“Any lingering affection for Mr Cameron, as a person, within the party, has disappeared. People are very angry.””

Madeleine McCann: Kate And Gerry Seduce Vain David Cameron To The Sun’s Self-Serving Campaign

MADELEINE McCann: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Our Maddie in the news: Missing for 1,471 days, the innocent child is back in the news:

Daily Mail (front page): “CAN THE YARD FIND MADDIE?”

Hope so.

The Sun (front page): “EXCLUSIVE: CAMERON ORDERS NEW MET POLICE PROBE INTO MADELEINE CASE”

“PM: I’VE REOPENED MADDIE FILES”

David Cameron has taken the bait. “As a dad”, he had no choice. The Sun places their man at the centre of the story. This is personal. This is in the first person.

Theresa May, the Home Secretary, explains all in an open letter to the paper that backed the Tories at the last election:

FOUR years after she went missing, Madeleine McCann is still always in our thoughts. So I welcome The Sun’s role in making sure that her case is not forgotten. None of us can know what Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry, have been going through. We can scarcely imagine the pain they have had to suffer or the pressure they have been under. We all want to see this beautiful little girl returned to her parents. That is why we have been doing everything we can behind the scenes in the search for Madeleine. Although it might not always be in the public eye, the British authorities have never given up on their work to find Madeleine.

Today I am pleased to announce that the Prime Minister and I have agreed with the Metropolitan Police Commissioner that the Met will now be using its particular expertise to review the case. The Met have skills, techniques and know-how which we hope can bring a new perspective to the case.

The Home Office will be providing the necessary financial support. Of course, the Metropolitan Police cannot promise that this work will lead to Madeleine being found. But it is right that we should do everything we can to help. It is my sincere hope that this new police involvement will bring closer the day that Madeleine comes home.

This is politics in the modern era: mawkish, opportunistic, emotive and ultimately self-serving.

Madeleine McCann: ‘As A Dad’ David Cameron Has To Find Our Maddie

MADELEINE McCann: Day 5 of the Sun’s serialisation of the Kate McCann book Madeleine. Today the book is overtaken by an appeal to David Cameron.

Sun (front page): “OPEN UP THE MADDIE FILES”

This is this “McCanns’ open letter to Cameron”

Having tried to gain mileage and reader interest in the book – including a delve into Kate and Gerry McCann’s sex life – the Sun leads not with the book but with an appeal:

Dear Prime Minister

As a devoted father and family man, you know the importance of children. Our beloved eldest child, Madeleine, was abducted from Praia da Luz, Portugal, four years ago. Since then, we have devoted all our energies to ensuring her safe return.

David Cameron’s Failed Handshake Proves He Is Not Psychotic

ONE day on from scoring a free ticket to the royal wedding (and dinner), Prime Minister David Cameron was playing tennis with former Wimbledon champion and Britain’s most likeable German Boris Becker at a charity tennis match at Chequers, Buckinghamshire. (Where id it all go wrong, Dave?)

As you will see in these photos, the event was notable for the gurning Cameron and the handshake.

The handshake is no longer a simple thing among gentlemen. The firm grip and steady look in the eye was once the essence of a done deal and moral assurance.
