Yoda Is World’s Ugliest Dog: Photos

At the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, Yoda wins a big cup to wear o ver her face and $1,000 to spen at rs Nip ‘n’ Tucks surgery. and that is not all! Yoda also wins a night at the Sheraton Sonoma County and pillow embroidered with the words of her owner, Terry Devine Schumacher, whose daughter found Yoda:
“I told her to put it down because I thought it was a rat.”

Teacher Arrested For Seeking Sex With Dogs On Craigslist
PATRICK Stephen Trejo, a music teacher at Raul Castro Middle School, has been accused of using a website in which dog owners advertise their pets for sex.
The school sent a letter home to parents. Says one parent:
“It’s just not something I’ve ever thought about discussing with my kids before.”
Trejo is said to have written on Craigslist:
“Hit me up if you have a pup to play with,” and made the call for anyone who was interested in ‘K-9 play’.”

Man Skins Golden Retriever On Shanghai Street: Video
THE Shanghai butcher is skinning a Golden Retriever in the street. The dog is hung on a pole. It’s fur is peeled off. Is the dog alive or dead?
ChinaSmack reports that Ms Zhang, who filmed the thing, said the scene made “her entire body tremble and prevented her from sleeping well“.
But, nonetheless, she managed to film it. Is it a fake? One the web, voices wrtie in to say that skinnign teh dog is “no different to poultry and livestock being slaughtered for food”.
True enough. And is that the point of this video – to show the hypocrisy of our attitudes to eating meat?
The only wonder is that Peta never thought of this first…

It was a time of heroes when George Kalomiris adopted Chico, the 4-pound Chihuahua. Chico is no hero. Chico refuses to go out in the dark. (Buy the Justin Bieber night light!) You see, when Kalomiris was walking Chico, a great horned owl swooped and tried to abduct the little guy.
Kalomiris: “I was shaking when it happened. The owl came out of nowhere. It was moving fast and it dragged him across the sidewalk.”

Jay Shells Launches Dog Shit Art On New York Streets
JAY Shells has created a 28-square-foot panting of a dog taking a crap in Manhattan.
Mr Shells is annoyed at New Yorkers who let their dogs befoul the pavements and fail to clean up after them.
The artwork features the legend “Clean Up After Your Dog!” and has attached to it free biodegradable bags.
Dog owners can thus remove the bags, stick a warm dog poo inside and then chuck it into the nearest tree, as is their wont.

No, this is the dog slum run by So Ama, or Just Love, a dog charity.
Says Natasha Oselame, who runs the organisation’s PR:
“We started out with the naivety of wanting to change the world, and the project just kept getting bigger, so unfortunately this is all we have to offer them.”

Max The Boxer Dog’s Nail Gun Head Presents X-Ray Horrors

Fat Dog Trapped In Rabbit Hole Escapes By Slimming
JAKE the Jack Russell was trapped in an underground rabbit warren in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, for 25 days until he lost so much weight that he was able to crawl out.
Says owner Jill Thomas:
“Jake was out walking with my husband one day when he trotted off and vanished out of sight around the rabbit holes. Rick looked everywhere for him but they were about six miles from home and he had no choice but to return without him.
“We put posters up everywhere and advertised for information about him but we heard nothing. Once three weeks had gone by we gave up hope of ever seeing him again.”
