Man drove road rage driver to police station on bonnet of car (video)

TO Melbourne, Australia, where Krish Kalli and family are motoring through Dandenong. A ute driver pulls up close and get out of his car. He’s upset. He says Mr Kalli cut him up at the lights. The man takes hold of the bull bars on the front of the Kalli’s SUV.

Mr Kalli edges slowly forward. for two miles Kalli drives in such a fashion. He stops at the police station.

Oddly, Mr Kalli’s family think it a good idea to film the incident and post the video on YouTube.

Both men are now be in trouble with the law. Of course, we can sympathise. The Highway Code has a glaring hole about such matters.

California: 101-year-old jogging smoker killed by 91-year-old drag racer

SHOULD the very aged be able to drive? Otto Jensen was killed by a car on Olive Avenue, Burbank, Calif. Otto was 101. The driver, Mary Beaumont, is 91. A friend of Otto’s tells the AP: “I believe the man could have gone to 105, at least.”

Otto smoked two cigars a day and loved the ladies.

Trucker caught watching 32cm TV bolted to dashboard

WHAT you’re looking at is a photo of an Australian driver’s onbaord entertaiment system. Goulburn Highway Patrol spotted a man driving erratically on the Hume Highway. A quick look at the vehicle revealed a 32cm wide television screen secured to the dashboard. It was wired up to a portable DVD player.

What do you think was in the player? The report doesn’t say?

Leicester man fined for driving with four children in the boot

HOW many people can you fit into a moving Audi A4 saloon. Zoltan Lakatos managed 11: six children (including the four in the boot), and three adults. In freer times, Mr Lakatos might be a record breaker, offering a continental take on the age-old ‘How Many People Can You Fit Into A Great British Mini’ challenge. Now, he is only a rule breaker. Leicester magistrates have banned Mr Lakatos from driving and ordered him to pay £1,325 in costs and fines.

Lakatos, 38, told police, through a Hungarian interpreter:

“It doesn’t matter, they are only children.”

Canadian Drivers Encouraged To Kill Schoolgirl In Sick Video Game

A 3D optical illusion of a girl chasing ball across a road is to feature in the street outside the École Pauline Johnson Elementary School in West Vancouver, Canada.

By the illusion is a sign declaring:

“You’re probably not expecting kids to run into the road.”

The aim is to make drivers drop their speed. The image appears when the approaching vehicle is 30 metres away. If travelling at 30km/h, the driver has plenty of time to stop. When within 30 meters of the image, the girl disappears.

Indeed, he might stop so fast that the car behind goes hurtling into the back of him, perhaps squashing a cyclist between the two vehicles
