Nazi Uniforms: Sid Vicious, Peter Rabbit, Prince Harry And Other People Who Still Wear Them

Nazi1

PAUL Dutton, 48, was ejected from his local branch of Asda in Cambridge, after a fellow shopper complained about his attire – a classic formal black suit of the type produced by Hugo Boss in the 1940s.

Unfortunately this suit happened to closely resemble the uniform of Hitler’s notorious SS, and even more unfortunately the resemblance was entirely uncoincidental. Mr Dutton’s “hobby” is Adolf Hitler, you see, and his fascination is such that his living room boasts a painting of himself being decorated by the Fuhrer – a man who once earned an honest living decorating people’s homes as a housepainter.

Ed Balls says Ed Miliband took a few minutes to read the 1,987-page Leveson Report in full

HOW politics works: Ed Miliband v Ed Balls:

When Lord Justice Leveson moved to shackle free speech with his report, Ed Miliband told the House of Commons:

“Lord Justice Leveson’s proposals…should be accepted in their entirety.”

Crazy Bob Diamond’s signed – now blame Ed Miliband and Ed Balls for the LIBOR mess

SO. Bob Diamond has done it, resigned as CEO of Barclays, fallen on his sword and signed on for the dole we assume.

However, there’s a lot more to come out about this LIBOR rigging scandal than most seem to realise at the moment. For example, we’ve got Ed Balls running around the place insisting that there must be a full, judge led, inquiry into what really happened. Ed Milipede seems to be shouting for the same thing.

Sharon Shoesmith Makes Fools Of The Sun’s David Cameron And Ed Balls

SHARON Shoesmith was unfairly sacked over the case of Baby P – the child who died at the hand of his mother, Tracey Connelley, her lover Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen. Former Children’s Secretary Ed Balls sacked her on the telly. She lost her £133,000-a-year post as Balls reacted to Opposition goading and a Sun campaign to force her out.

At last now the news media can stick to the facts, avoid sensationalism and move on? The child, Peter Connelley, suffered enough. his name should be left to rest in peace. Well, not a bit of it.

The Evening Standard says Shoesmith is in line for a “£2.5m payout“.

Labour Party Says Ed Balls Talk Balls: Fact

THE Labour Party delivers the Headline of The Day, about Ed Balls. Is this a sign of in-fighting?

In Pictures: Did Ed Balls Cheat At Newsnight’s Labour Leadership Contest?

DID you see the Labour leadership candidates – Ed Balls (nominative determinism), Ed Miliband (Gromit), Diane Abbott (the Tory dream), Andy Burnham (what I did in my school holidays) and David Miliband (old wonky face) were making their pitches to lose the next election on BBC Newsnight.

They drew lots in the green room for the order they will be speaking. Did Ed Balls peek? And does it matter where Ed Miliband stands because like some Picasso painting you can see both his eyes even when he’s in profile.

As for the policies… Well, they all agreed to agree with moving on and not looking back before telling us how great Tony Blair was…

David Miliband Misspells Diane Abbott’s Name As Dennis Skinner Reaches For Osborne’s Cocaine Line

EVERYONE is so excited about the Big One. No! Not the World Cup. No! Not Big Brother. No. this is the Labour Party leadership contest. Who do you want to lead the Labour Party?

Well, if you’re a Tory, you want pretty much any of them. Let’s take a look:

David Miliband: has a slightly lob-sided face. On the telly, people with lob-sided faces are always up to no good. Backs Diane Abbott on Twitter – oh, the dignity of office – by spelling her name wrong:

Gather John McDonnell pulled out. I’m going now to nominate Dianne myself. Encourage others to do the same.”

Ed Miliband: Wallace and Gromit life model who talks from the back of his tonsils.

So why does Boris Johnson want to headbutt Ed Balls?

Well what do you think the Mayor of London feels most passionate about?

Ending child poverty?
Ensuring quality healthcare?
Helping people avoid repossessions?

Nope – it is teaching Latin in schools.

He wrote in his Telegraph column (which he gets £150k a year for)

“There are times when a minister says something so maddening, so death-defyingly stupid, that I am glad not to be in the same room in case I should reach out, grab his tie, and end what is left of my political career with one almighty head-butt,” said the mayor, renowned as a passionate classicist. “Such were my feelings on reading Mr Ed Balls on the subject of teaching Latin in schools.”

All Balls said was that very few parents were asking for Latin in schools.

As Labour MP Emily Thornberry put it this morning

“Perhaps if Boris Johnson cared as much the pressing needs of London as he does about Latin there would be lower bus fares, no cuts to police numbers, no cuts to tube ticket office staff and a much smaller list of broken manifesto commitments.”

But no – it is all about preserving a language which hasn’t been taught in many state schools for decades.

Is this the mad ramblings of an out of touch politician who knows little of the issues that people have to deal with in the real world? Or is teaching them Latin the only way to bring the kids to their senses?

Spare us.

More here http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/blog/2010/mar/15/boris-johnson-ed-balls-he…

Btw £150k would prob keep at least three more Telegraph journos in jobs or enable the paper to start another ten or so blogs.

Just a thought

Jon Venables Revealed As Destroyed Ed Balls Says Denise Fergus Is Wrong

JON Venables & James Bulger: TREADING where Justice Secretary Jack Straw may not have put his beautifully formed toes, UK Schools Minister Ed Balls has entered the Jon Venables-child killer criminal responsibility ring.

James Bulger Case in pictures

Note: This is mawkish Ed who tapped into the Baby P Mourn Porn by telling us that “as a dad”…:

“I have to separate the emotion I feel as a father from my job as Secretary of State… Nothing I can do next week can being back Baby P or take away the suffering he endured.”

As Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel puts it:

“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste…”

Balls defied Parliament to appoint Dr Margaret Atkinson as Child Commissioner and yesterday had to go in to bat for her after a huge political gaffe.

The Minister responsible for Education in England and Wales made matters that much worse and yesterday said, the then ten-year-old, Venables and joint killer Robert Thompson were not “intrinsically evil”

That let the Tories straight back into the political fight and David Davies, above, Conservative MP for Monmouth, told the Daily Express:

“His comments are as astonishing as they are offensive.

“Evil is the only way to describe the murderers of James Bulger.”

Balls, who made the same stupid fumble as Jack Straw by calling the victim’s mother by the wrong name, had been directly contradicting Denis Fergus, 42, the mum of murdered two-year-old James Bulger.

James Bulger Case in pictures

She has already called for the dismissal of the newly-appointed Children’s Commissioner Margaret Atkinson who for some unknown and what can only be described as insensitive or bizarre reason announced via The Times at the weekend the age for criminal responsibility should be lifted from ten to 12 and Venables and Thompson should NOT have been prosecuted.

Ed Balls said Jon Venables and Robert Thompson were victims of an abusive upbringing.

Baby P: Ed Balls’ Masters In Blame

baby-pGREAT news that “social workers to get £58m boost”, as Children’s Secretary Ed Balls is to “unveil a £58m plan to transform the social work profession after the violent death of Baby Peter”.

So how is Balls going to prevent another Baby P, who was abused despite being on Haringey Council’s “at risk” register.

The Government’s new Social Work Transformation Fund will pay for training and support for social workers, focusing on those new to the profession.

Support from whom? Sky News reports:

Throwing Out Baby P With The Bath Water

GUIDO notices this gem from Hansard during the Baby P / Laming Report debate yesterday afternoon:

“I do not want to throw out the baby with bathwater here, which is why it is important we do this properly. The social work taskforce will take this forward.”

That’s Ed Balls. Adding that:

Baby P: Ed Balls Statement In Full And Sun’s Failed Campaign

TOUGH luck on the Sun and its legion of campaigners. Only three people have lost their jobs over Baby P.

Sharon Shoesmith, the head of children’s services at Haringey Council, has been sacked. The council’s leader George Meehan and the cabinet member for children and young people, Liz Santry have resigned.

Says Ed Balls: “In the case of Baby P things did go tragically wrong.”

No doubt about that.

Baby P: Too Late For Ed Balls But Gordon Brown Can Still Save Him

HAVING made a land grab for his ashes, can the Sun take credit for the imminent dismissal of those Haringey social workers who failed Baby P?

Of course it can. And it’s a safe bet that Gordon Brown will not miss the opportunity to thank the Sun for its vigilante campaign, and thank those voters, sorry readers who signed the petition online and in the paper.

As Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel puts it:

“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste…”

Baby P: Socialist Liberal Conservatives To Blame And Sterilising The Guilty

BABY P Watch: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Baby P in the news

THE SUN (front page): “SOCIAL WORKERS NEW SHAME”

When a tortured and murdered baby isn’t shaming enough…

“BABY P GRAN: I WARNED HARINGEY”

Says she: “They didn’t want to know.”

The last photo of blond, blue-eyed Baby P — taken days before he was found dead in his blood-spattered cot

Blonde…

On page 5, the Sun produces a petition. It’s already been written: “All blonde children with blue-eyes should be saved first and…” Or:

“I believe that ALL the social workers involved in the case of baby P, including Sharon Shoesmith, Maria Ward, Sylvia Henry and Gillie Christou should be sacked and never allowed to work with vulnerable children again”.

Meanwhile, Baby P’s mother is free to have more children, and so too his step-dad and lodger Jason Owen. Discuss…

“…I also demand that the doctor involved with Baby P, Sabah Al Zayyat, should lose her job and not be allowed to treat the public again.”

Says the grandmother: “I blame myself.” Can she be banned from being a grandma?

But one local has produced her own petition. Stephanie Biber has plastered a poster to the windows of the Hornsey and Wood Green Labour Party headquarters. The legend runs:

“Sharon Shoesmith you have blood on your hands. Council tax payers of Haringey refuse to pay council tax until Sharon Shoesmith is sacked.”

Says Ed Balls, the swivel-eyed Education Secretary:

“People are asking how these despicable acts of evil can happen in this day and age and in Haringey of all places.”

Yeah, the bucolic splendour of one of the most impoverished, dirty, depressing places in the entire country. If there, then anywhere…

TREVOR KAVANAGH: “Leftie Mafia close ranks over Baby P”

P is for Politics…

Polly Tonybee Wants Gordon Brown To Be As Consistent As She Is

POLLY Toynbee is a Guardian columnist and president of the Social Policy Association. She is a solid and clear voice, an opinion former:

“A cabinet of minnows and spineless backbenchers include many – perhaps most – who want Brown gone, but lack the nerve to act. They wait for someone else, for Brown to walk away or for a proverbial bus to save them from the task” – Polly Tonybee, Sep 6, 2008

Not to be confused with this Polly Tonybee:

“…as they stepped into No 10 yesterday, here was as decent and clever a team of ministers as ever graced the cabinet table. Two Milibands, Ed Balls, Jackie Smith, Harriet Harman, Alan Johnson, Douglas Alexander, Peter Hain and Hilary Benn – with the likes of John Denham and Yvette Cooper in attendance – present a good front. It’s certainly the most genuinely united government in living memory” – Polly Tonybee, June 29 2007

Consistency is what we’re after…
