In this Tuesday, May 1, 2012 photo, Indian eunuchs buy coconuts before a ceremony during the annual eunuch festival where they re-enact a story adopted from the Indian epic Mahabharata at Koovagam, around 132 kilometers (83 miles) south of Chennai, India. The term eunuch, is used in India to describe a community of people who identify themselves as neither male nor female but as members of a third gender.
