Autocue Grammar Fails Are Death By A Single Comma
BARACK Obama makes reading the autocue look pretty easy. After all, reading and aloud is something you learn to do when you’re a toddler. If you can make a living out of it, more power to you. But you are at the mercy of technology and grammar. A misplaced comma can lead to difficulties, as we will see in these examples:
Dana was murdered – she’s off tonight
And you know what you are – all of you:
Especially you, sicko:
And here’s how you do it:

You Can Still Buy Those Ridiculous ‘Too Cool To Do Drugs’ Pencils
DID you own a “Too Cool To Do Drugs” pencil in the 1990s? So long as you weren’t a pencil user, the message was succinct and pure. But those of you who like a sharpener or several, realised that the more pencil you used, the more the message changed.

Esquire magazine uses 9/11 falling man photo to advertise a ‘more stylish commute’
ON this 12th anniversary of 9/11, Esquire magazine reproduced the essay The Falling Man. It’s a picture of man falling to his death from the World Trade Center.
Do you remember this photograph? In the United States, people have taken pains to banish it from the record of September 11, 2001. The story behind it, though, and the search for the man pictured in it, are our most intimate connection to the horror of that day.
Dwelling on one photograph of a man hurtling towards his demise is unpleasant. If you find him, then what – get his loved ones to sign the photo and explain how they feel seeing it?
But then it gets worse. Esquire uses the picture to advertise a feature entitled: “Making Your Morning Commute Mote Stylish”.

Newsreader interrupted live on-air by her own child
CHILDREN are idiots aren’t they? Especially your own. And one Moroccan newsreader found that out when her daughter interrupted her at work while she was live on telly.
Lena Alwash’s live broadcast on Morocco’s Medi 1 TV channel is interrupted when her daughter randomly appears behind her to hand her a mobile.
Upon realising her mum might actually be working and addressing viewers, rather than just blankly talking to the ether in a stern voice, the child realises how dim she is and tries to duck out of shot.

Carly Rae Jepsen throws worst baseball pitch, like, EVER
REGULARLY, people unfairly chide women for their inability to throw, however, popstar Carly Rae Jepsen have gone and thrown a ball so badly that it might keep bozos in jokes for the rest of their lives.
Jepsen was left amused and embarrassed by her lame attempt at throwing the first pitch at a baseball game.
She was invited to throw the traditional first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays game against the Houston Astros, however, what transpired was worse than Diana Ross’ penalty during the opening ceremony for the ’94 World Cup.
Fox Sports commentators noted that Jepsen had actually thrown several impressive strikes during practice, which is no use to anyone, especially Jepsen.
Jepsen laughed off the pitch on Twitter later, describing it as a “fail”.
“So apparently I made ESPN with my fail of a pitch. Lol- Daddy must be so proud.”
