JAYCEE Lee Dugard: Full Text Of Phillip Garrido’s Jail Radio Interview. It’s a “powerful, heartwarming story”, says Garrido. Maybe Disney will make it into a film?
Mr Garrido, who is on lifetime parole, gave a phone interview to KCRA-TV’s Walt Gray from the El Dorado County jail. Walt says this is the “biggest moment of your career” to a colleague. It’s pretty big for Walt, too, says the colleague. Says Garrido:
“Wait until you hear the story of what took place at this house. You are going to be completely impressed. It’s a disgusting thing that took place with me at the beginning. But I turned my life completely around and to be able to understand that, you have to start there.”
