Libya Wants Nato Help Finishing Off Gaddafi Fighters

LIBYA wants Nato to stay in the air to hound/pound Gaddafi supporters until at least early 2012.

The country’s, out-going interim leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil told military allies in Qatar today help was wanted to mop up stragglers trying to leave Libya. It apparently means the new Government regards all Gaddafi supporters as war criminals.

Nato who provided all rebel force air cover during the fight against Gaddafi had been thought ready to pull out on October 30 after Gaddafi’s death and burial and last Sunday’s announcement by the National Transitional Council (NTC) that Libya was liberated.

Jalil said help was need to stop Gaddafi supporters leaving the country.

Libya Is A Rabid Dog Waiting For The Next Gaddafi NATO Approves Of

THERE can be no hand-wringing for the fate of Gaddafi. He maimed and murdered his people in a vain glorious attempt to retain his family’s fortune and power. He used terror squads of mercenaries and tanks. He tortured and showed no mercy. None at all.

Libya and Gaddafi news coverage has been at saturation point for months.

What has happened in the past four or five days has shown war is bloody, brutal and often totally uncontrolled.

It is not at all nice…and little or no difference between the in-country opponents.

There is NO good side and the social and traditional practices of Libya’s tribal factions are an anathema to almost all international opinion. This is clearly shown by the diplomatic protests over the feral revengeful treatment of captured individuals.

Laying In A State: Gaddafi Hit With Fatwa To Rot For Libya: Photos

THE holders of Col. Muammar Gaddafi’s now rapidly decomposing and odorous body still have made no public announcement re disposal arrangements for the murdered tyrant.

Perhaps the new interim Libyan Government wants to elevate Gaddafi to Royal standard.

It is normal in muslim deaths, sudden or otherwise, for the body to be washed and buried as quickly as possible. The speed comes from the wish to keep a healthy surviving population in hot climates.

Photo: The curious queue to see Gaddafi’s rotting corpse

Britain’s Royal Family has a habit of prolonging things a little. When Queen Elizabeth (“Never, Never, Never trust a German”) the Queen Mother died at 101-years-old on March 30, 2002 she Lay in State until her April 9 funeral when she was paraded through London before being interred at Windsor Castle.

In this Tuesday, July 5, 2011 photo, a caricature of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi seen on the wall in the rebel-held Benghazi, Libya, Tuesday, July 5, 2011. The graffiti, in Arabic, reads, "the people have spoken," and "dedicated to the February 7 youth." Moammar Gadhafi is loved in Libya's rebel capital _ as a subject for street artists to mock. Caricatures of the embattled Libyan leader dot walls and buildings across Benghazi in renderings that range from crude sketches to elaborate satire such as Gadhafi being knocked around by a rebel-colored boot or depicted with a Nazi swastika. Gaddafi’s Black Rapists Give Trump Oil To Grind Obama Over Libya

DONALD Trump may yet be President of the USA as he attacks Obams on Libya, a place overrun by Gaddafi’s rapists.

BILLIONAIRE businessman Donald Trump, who is flirting with a White House run, … said that by failing to move more decisively in its foreign policy, ”this country is a laughing stock throughout the world”…

“Look at Libya. Look at this mess,” an exasperated Trump said.

“We go in, we don’t go in, he shouldn’t be removed, we don’t want to remove him, we don’t want to touch him, but he should be removed. Nobody knows what they’re doing on Gaddafi.

“I’d do one thing. Either I’d go in and take the oil or I don’t go in at all,” he said.

Gaddafi Has Already Won The War In Libya: The US, UK And UN Lose

COLONEL Muammar Gaddafi is some kind of mad genius. As soon as the UN Security Council issues Resolution 1973 to give support to military action against the Libyan Army under Gaddafi, mad dog announces an immediate ceasefire. Libya is now under an arms embargo, in a no-flight zone and has had its assets frozen.

Here’s a few highlights from the UN decree:

Further condemning acts of violence and intimidation committed by the Libyan authorities against journalists, media professionals and associated personnel and urging these authorities to comply with their obligations under international humanitarian law as outlined in resolution 1738 (2006)…

Amen to that.

Considering that the widespread and systematic attacks currently taking place in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya against the civilian population may amount to crimes against humanity…”

Will This Wiki Find Plagiarism In Saif Gaddafi’s PhD Thesis?

DID Saif-al -Islam, Colonel Gaddafi’s son last seen talking of civil war in Libya at no risk to himself, plagiarise his Ph.D in economics from the LSE?

If he did cheat then Saif’s current job as dad’s next in line must be in jeopardy. Saif may need to prove his intellect in some other way, say, by working out how many big sticks it takes to secure your billions, investing in his wardobe or juggling.

As a result of the school’s links with Libya, Sir Howard Davies has resigned as the director of the London School of Economics. He says:

“I have concluded that it would be right for me to step down even though I know that this will cause difficulty for the institution I have come to love. The short point is that I am responsible for the school’s reputation, and that has suffered.”

SAS Poised To Grab Gaddifi’s Collar: British Troops Hunting Libyan Leader

LIBYA and Gaddafi: THE SAS home camp in Hereford saw a lot of activity on Wednesday and Thursday this week and Old Man Anorak got a couple of tips one of the UK’s elite fighting units was likely to be heading south.

It was decided to say nothing and wait and see. Not a long wait since last evening the announcement was made two Hercules aircraft had flown into the Libyan desert south of Benghazi to airlift civilian oil-workers. Last night’s news came after the “extractions” , the arrival of the first plane in Malta and hinted of a bridgehead airstrip where the civilians had been told to assemble.

Gaddafi Knocked Out For Airborne Face Lift Flight To Venezuela

LIBYA: When Foreign Secretary William Hague said Colonel Gaddafi was in Venuezla, we believed him. If Hague says it’s true it must be true. Of course the woman he overheard revealing Gaddafi’s travel plans to the pigeons in the shopping precinct might not be the best source.

And it not only turns out that the old actor is in Libya but that if he does head to Venezuela he will be drugged – possibly anesthetized for an in-flight face lift:

Only a few days ago, as Colonel Muammar Gaddafi faced the wrath of his own people, he met with an old Arab acquaintance and spent 20 minutes out of four hours asking him if he knew of a good surgeon to lift his face.

As Wikileaks told us:

Qadhafi appears to rely heavily on XXXXXXXXXXXX and reportedly cannot travel with his senior Ukrainian nurse, Galyna XXXXXXXXXXXX. He also appears to have an intense dislike or fear of staying on upper floors, reportedly prefers not to fly over water, and seems to enjoy horse racing and flamenco dancing.

If any cruisers out there see a man wearing  a huge taffeta dress, sat on a rocking horse and holding an umbrella as the boat heads to the Americas, let us know. And we’ll tell William Hague’s pigeon fancier…

When Libya Was The Model Of A Saved Rogue State Gaddafi Never Changed

LIBYA: Remember when Colonel Gaddafi was the model for how the enemy could be brought in to the fold? The Colonel never abandoned terrorism. Sure, he renounced it publicly and thus allowed the US to restore full diplomatic relations in 2006. He turned his back on WMD.  But he sends in warplanes against his own people.

Nothing changed.  He never changed his ways. Libya never changed. The West just changed it view to suit the moment.

Gaddafi acted out of fear that after Saddam was beaten in Iraq, he would be next on the Americans’ list. America acted out of military necessity. The UK was driven by money.

Gaddafi know says:

“I will not leave the country, and I will die as a martyr.”

If he wants to be martyr and serve his country, the self-styled “leader of the Arab leaders, the king of kings of Africa and the imam of the Muslims” should leave Libya now.

Was anyone fooled?

American and Iraqi officials have stepped up their criticism of Syria in recent days in what some analysts believe is the beginning of an attempt by Washington to repeat the “Libya model” – total political and economic isolation to compel a U-turn in regime behavior. – Nicolas Blanford, Christian Science Monitor, Sept. 2005

The proposal being negotiated in Beijing for ending North Korea‘s nuclear program would include agreement to turn over all equipment it bought from a disgraced Pakistani scientist, the New York Times reported.

“This is the Libya model,” the Times quoted a senior administration official as saying, referring to Libya’s decision in late 2003 to turn over all of the equipment it had purchased from the secret nuclear network run by Abdul Qadeer Khan, to produce fuel for a nuclear bomb. – Reuters, Feb 2007

Libya’s Umbrella Revolution: Ode To The Gaddafi Brolly

COLONEL Gaddafi is a bit special:

“I am in Tripoli and not in Venezuela. Do not believe the channels belonging to stray dogs….I wanted to say something to the youths at the Green Square (in Tripoli) and stay up late with them but it started raining. Thank God, it’s a good thing.”

King of Kings Gaddafi Stands On His Pedestal As Libya Despairs

LIBYA: Worry yet note people of the Arab lands for your King is still on the golden sands:

As Gaddafi told us in 2009:

I am the leader of the Arab leaders, the king of kings of Africa and the imam of the Muslims.

The King of kings is on the telly. From his throne in the back of a van, he pokes his head out the side door, unfurls a brolly to keep his drown from getting wet and says:

“I am here to show that I am in Tripoli and not in Venezuela. Don’t believe those misleading dog stations.”

Gaddafi Murders More Than He Killed At Lockerbie: Who Speaks For Them?

COLONEL Gaddafi has ordered his own people to be murdered. The reports are of more than 300 dead. The world is outraged. But that number is not far off the 270 murdered in the Lockerbie bombing. Is the world still outraged by that? Are our political elite still demanding action on that?

On 21 December 1988, Pan Am flight 103 was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland. Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi was head of security for Libyan Arab Airlines. In 2001, he was sentenced at a Scottish court sitting in a disused US air base, Camp Zeist, in the Netherlands.

Libya admitted responsibility and paid compensation to the victims. Al-Megrahi said he was innocent. But his appeal was never heard. He dropped it.

Did Muammar Gaddafi Try To Convert Berlusconi’s Harem?

ON Italian prostitute Carla Bruni, Muammar Gaddafi’s 200 models and actresses – ones not converted by Silvio Berlusconi’s shaft of life:

The Libyan leader recruited the women through a modelling agency to join him and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi at a photographic exhibition in Rome that traced historical links between the two countries.

Telling them that Islam was the ‘’ultimate religion’’, Colonel Gaddafi insisted that ‘’if you want to believe in a single faith, then it must be that of Muhammad’’…

On Sunday night, during an encounter with 500 young women hired by the same agency, Colonel Gaddafi handed out copies of the Koran and told the women that Europe should convert to Islam.
