The troubling story of Lisa Miller and the anti-gay Mennonite church
SAME-sex unions are big news. The Rev. Kenneth Miller 46, a Mennonite from Stuarts Draft, Va., has been found guilty of helping Lisa Miller (no relation) leave the USA in September 2009. Rev. Kenneth Miller has been found guilty of aiding in international kidnapping.
Miller and Jenkins had joined in a Vermont civil union in 2000. In 2002, Isabella was born through artificial insemination. The couple split in 2003. Lisa Miller got custody. Jenkins got visitation rights. Lisa Miller turned her back on her homosexuality. She turned to the Church, becoming a Baptist, then a Mennonite. She refused to let Jenkins see their child. This was in breach of the court.
In August 2009, a judge indicated that unless Lisa Miller comply he would turn custody of the girl over to Jenkins. Preparation swere made for Jenkins to take full custody.
Lisa Miller took Isabella and fled to Nicaragua.
Life Site News reports:
Nicaraguan Mennonites say that they have been persecuted by government authorities since they chose to shelter ex-lesbian Lisa Miller and her daughter Isabella following their escape from the United States, but add that they are willing to suffer and even die to protect Isabella from a court-ordered custody transfer to her non-biological lesbian “mother” [Janet Jenkins].
…The letter of the Nicaragua Brotherhood does not specify which Nicaraguan Menonite churches are represented. Although its publication date is given as February of this year, it appears not to have been distributed outside of Mennonite circles. It was quoted in May in the Mennonite World Review, and was quoted in Jenkins’ lawsuit.

Moscow bans gay pride parades for 100 years – 2112 will be great
MOSCOW is protesting a tad too much methinks. The city’s court has upheld a ban on gay pride marches – a ban that will last 100 years (or until Russia’s eternal President Putin is kissed by a handsome prince).
Nikolai Alekseev, a gay activist, had challenged a century ban on gay parades in Moscow. Moscow City Court upheld the ban. Says Alexeyev:
“Now we will soon appeal against the Russian authorities to ban Moscow Pride for a hundred years ahead of the European Court of Human Rights. Thus we achieve the recognition of wrongful bans not only past but future Gay Pride in Moscow. “

Anti-gay golfer hits ball through homosexual Church window
IS there something about golf that lends itself to intolerance? Do people who like rules enjoy golf?
We ask in light of events at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, where a golf ball “covered in hate speech” has broken the window of Robert Paddock’s car. The Church had just inaugurated gay Pastor Anita Hill as the head of a drive to reach gay, lesbian and transgender congregants. Paddock, who had attended the service, returned to his car:
“It’s one thing to have your opinion – you may not accept this – but when you go out and damage people’s property, that’s another thing. It’s not changing anything by doing an act like that. It’s simply vandalism.”

Pictures emerge that suggest Chris Brown is gay?
WHEN Frank Ocean declared that he wasn’t straight, there was thunderous applause from all corners. Frank Ocean: Nice guy, super talent and having sex with whoever he feels like. Cool eh? What about Chris Brown then? What happens if he’s gay or bisexual?

The Boy Scouts of America perversion files feature not a single gay
GRIM news in the latimes.com that the Boy Scouts of America has a secret dossier of “perversion files” used to tracks sexual deviants in woggles. Oddly, the BSA has a policy of bigotry, banning gays and lesbian adults from working with children.
The BSA website trills:

Chris Brown shows deep interest in Frank Ocean’s sexuality
WHEN Frank Ocean didn’t reveal he was gay to the world (the implication, to people who actually digested his words was that he’s bisexual, but no-one was listening properly, preferring instead to coo about how he’s the first gay person ever), he became an overnight sensation.
With that, everyone had an opinion on it. 50 Cent did his best to be supportive, but garbled his message by saying it was fine that people choose to live like that. He clearly didn’t mean ‘choice’, but whatever. Of course, rentagit Chris Brown opened his mouth without kicking his brain out of reverse.

Travolta gay claims crop up again, this time, with added libel
GAY or not, John Travolta is being put through the media mangle at the moment while everyone speculates about his sexuality. All we need now is an invite from Oprah for Travolta to have a little cry and tell us how hard it all is, and we’re done.
Previous stories around this have featured large chefs flipping burgers, masseurs rejecting Travolta’s sexual advances, powerful Jews and helicopter pilots. It’s ticked many boxes. And now, the latest addition, is some libel! Robert Randolph, who wrote a book about his alleged gay encounters with John Travolta has filed a libel lawsuit against the actor and his attorney.

YOU’VE heard the rumours about John Travolta right? The rumours are so loud that these days, they pretty much drown out the day job. Taylor Lautner is massively not gay
GAYS! Sadly for you, it appears that Taylor Lautner is not down with the Wang Clan, despite the “out and proud” cover of People magazine which circulated around various social networking sites over Christmas.
You see, sadly for those of us who like more gays in the world (or at least the whispered mutterings that accompany such news), the cover has been outed itself as a raging fake.
The cover itself said: “Out and Proud: Tired of rumors, the Twilight star opened up about his decision to finally come out.” You can see it here for yourself.
People magazine had to come along and spoil the fun by setting the record straight, saying it’s “100 percent fake.” People spokeswoman Julie Farin told Reuters, “This began as a ridiculous Twitter joke that went viral.” Even Lautner, star of the Twilight films, himself spoke about it, tweeting: “So false!!! Don’t believe everything. Rumours = Lies.”

Hulk Hogan Files Defamation Suit Against Ex-Wife, Which Is Nice
DIVORCE and break-ups are always tricky things. Splitting up the CD collection. Trying to not punch each other on the nose. The whole trying to have a conversation with someone while crying so badly that you produce snot-bubbles big enough to be a frog’s throat.

Mayor Jose Benitez Says Peru’s Water Turns You Gay
TO Peru, where José Benítez, mayor of Huarmey, says the local water can turn you gay. This explains the gay fish.
