Anti-Gay Rights Professor George Alan Rekers And The Rent Boy ‘Long Stroke’
WHAT news of Rev. Dr. George Alan Rekers, the homophobic, anti-gay rights Baptist minister and his RentBoy.com bag man? You know, Rekers who says gays can be cured?
Professor George, as he likes to be billed, says it is all slanderous.
Lucien, the male escort he hired from the RentBoy.com website to accompany him on a European vacation has been talking. And the buzz phrase is “the long stroke”.

Anti-Gay Rights Minister Dr. George Rekers, Rent Boy And Playing The Pipe Organ
IN “Exposed: Anti-Gay Activist/Minister’s 10-Days of Fun & Sun with Male Hustle”, Anorak;s Man in La looks at anti-gay rights church dweller Dr George Rekers and his gay baggage handler.
In certain circles, Baptist minister Dr. George Rekers, is renowned for his views – specifically his views on gays. He’s even a co-founding board member of the Family Research Council, a political offshoot of James Dobson’s Focus on the Family. And he’s a rabid opponent of gay adoption and gay marriage, and a proponent of gay-to-straight conversion.
One of Rekers’ colleagues on the Family Research Council’s original board of directors was another religious crazy by the name of Tony Perkins.
It would seem that Professor Rekers was photographed at the Miami airport as he returned from an overseas vacation… and in the company of a male prostitute he had hired through a website called “RentBoy.com.”
They had just deplaned from flying into Miami from Madrid.
But, explained Rekers when questioned by a Miami New Times reporter who was waiting for him upon his arrival:
“I had surgery and I can’t lift luggage. That’s why I hired him.”
Rekers, however, didn’t deny that he recruited the slender young blond through the Rent Boy website, but told the reporter he didn’t realize his companion was a gay hustler until halfway through their vacation together.
Perhaps it’s worth mentioning that Rekers has a Facebook page. It’s sparse in terms of the amount of personal information he gives. But it does include a short list of activities he enjoys… including “playing piano and pipe organ….

Dale McAlpine: A Tale Of Sodomy, God And Free Speech
DALE McAlpine has been charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress” for standing on the top of stepladder telling a passing shopper that homosexuality goes against the word of god.
Mr McAlpine says blasphemy, drunkenness and same sex relationships are sins.
Tuning in is a gay police community support officer (PCSO). This PCSO approaches the female shopper,. He then approaches Mr McAlpine. He says he’s received a complaint. In Wokington, Cumbria, Mr McAlpine is arrested and sent to the cells for seven hours.
Says Mr McAlpine to the PCSO (as he claims):
“I am not homophobic but sometimes I do say that the Bible says homosexuality is a crime against the Creator”.
He claims the PCSO said he was gay and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender liaison officer for Cumbria police.
Mr McAlpine: “It’s still a sin.”

Man Not Gay Enough For Sex Shop Sues
MICHAEL Beaton, a plumber by training, is not gay enough for Suzie’s Adult Superstore in California. He works there. Or he did. But Mr Beaton was fired for being too straight.
But above all Mr Michael Beaton is American, and as is the American way, he is suing Suzie’s Adult Superstore. Says he:
“I was a security guard, cleaned up the premises, and did a little loss prevention work.”
He applied for a sales job on the shop floor.

Bolivia’s President Says Eating Chicken Created Gay, Bald Elton John
EVO Morales, president of Bolivia, (more nominal determinism?) says eating chicken can make you gay and bald.
Morales says at the World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth that “when men eat those chickens [injected with hormones] they experience deviances in being men“.
Adding:

Russian Christians Blame Iceland’s Volcano On Gays
WHAT caused Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano. Well global warming did. And women. Greedy hoteliers? Ryan Air? And the pagans. Interfax reports on the Association of Orthodox Experts, Russian chapter:

Homophobia, David Letterman, GLAAD, Amanda Sampson And Banning The ‘Tranny’
STAFF shagger David Letterman makes a joke about Amanda Sampson – who was born ‘Mitch‘ and now works at the U.S. Department of Commerce – and people at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) are unhappy.
GLAAD? Does the acornym follow the name, or is it the other way around? Is every label an acronym dmeanding to be written in capital letters: GAY (Get A Yacht), Homo (He Owes Me One), NORWICH (K-Nickers Off Reqdy When I Come Home)? DISCUSS.
GLAAD issues a statement:
“Depicting people reacting in horror to transgender individuals is a dangerous stereotype for popular media to perpetuate because it contributes to the societal conception of transgender people as abnormal and deceptive, which all-too-often results in anti-transgender violence and/or discrimination when played out in reality. We are reaching out to CBS Late Show with David Letterman with our concerns about this transphobic joke. Please send your concerns to CBS.”
Meanwhile, over in the UK press, the word Tranny or TRANNY is being outlawed. MacGuffin looks at it:
A about a Sunday Life article headlined ‘Tranny worked in rape centre’ was upheld in what the PCC called:
a landmark ruling on the use of terminology in this area.
Taking into account the full context of the piece, the Commission considered that the use of the word ‘tranny’ – which was a needless abbreviation, held by many to be offensive – was pejorative. The complaint was upheld on this point.
If the PCC regard ‘tranny’ as ‘needless’, ‘offensive to many’ and ‘pejorative’ – as they should – then context should not matter.
The PCC added that this was the first ruling under a change to the Code which occurred in 2005 after representations from community organisations:
Individuals who are undergoing or have undergone treatment for gender reassignment will be included in the categories offered protection from prejudicial or pejorative references.
All of which should mean that the word ‘tranny’ is effectively banned, along with other offensive slang terms on race and homosexuality.
But if this change has been in effect for over four years, how has the Sun published stories such as:
- Let perv tranny rot in a men’s prison
- Meet Britain’s oldest tranny…at 75
- Tranny can live in women’s jail
- Teen tranny’s debut video
- Mona’s tranny gaffe
- When Harry met tranny
- Cops’ canny tranny is hate crime nanny
And those are just ones where ‘tranny’ is used in the headline in the last year.
In all, there appear to be over 50 results found for ‘tranny’ on the Sun website, although a couple of these are about transisitor radios.
Press for Change, a lobbying and educational organisation for ‘equal civil rights and liberties for all transgendered people in the United Kingdom’ produced Transsexual People and the Press in 2004, which said:
Expressions such as ‘gender-bender’, ‘sex change’, ‘tranny’ or ‘she-male’ are considered inappropriate ways to describe persons experiencing a medically recognised condition.
And, unsurprisingly, there are several references to ‘gender-benders’ in the Sun archives too (for example, here, here and here).
The Sun isn’t the only one – the Star also uses ‘tranny’ needlessly, and the Mail seems to have a policy that has renamed Trinny and Susannah ‘Trinny and Tranny’.
But if the PCC thinks the word ‘tranny’ is pejorative and offensive, why has it taken four-and-a-half years for them to issue a ruling against the use of the word? Why has it ignored the repeated use of it by the Sun, and others, for so long?
And can we expect the PCC to challenge any future use of the term?

Join The Campaign For Straight Gay Marriages
IF you are not gay, can you still have gay wedding, a so-called civil partnership? If you’re not a dog can you still enter Crufts? If you aren’t a vampire can you still drink the blood of a virgin?
Tom Freeman and Katherine Doyle, both 25, want to challenge “discriminatory” UK laws which restrict civil partnerships to same-sex couples. Having been denied a civil partnership at London’s Islington Register Office, Mr Freeman and Miss Doyle are protesting. Says he:
“It would be lovely to formalise our relationship but we are completely turned off by the whole institution of marriage because it discriminates against gay people.”

Gay Men And Lesbians Ordered To Leave Jamaican Town On ‘Gay Eradication Day’
THE Jamaica Star has a message for homosexuals: “GAYS MUST LEAVE TODAY”.
Today has been proclaimed ‘Gay Eradication Day’ by residents of the McGregor Gully community in East Kingston. Residents say that they will be taking action as a two-week notice given to all gays and lesbians to flee the community has now expired.
It can be hard to identify who is and who is not gay. The Gully locals’ plan might be to see who flees then: a) send out a posse; b) lock the town’s gates; or c) see if there’s enough demand for an organic coffee shop.
A local explains:
“Yu nuh si seh dem waa mash up di place an gi wi bad name, me haffi protect my yute dem from dem type a influence deh,” one resident said while pointing out that they will not sit back and watch while their community falls into disrepute.

Gay Hating Drivers Deliberately Run Into Faggots And Dykes
CAMPAIGNERS for the Protection Of English (POE) are at war with gay campaigners in light of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency’s decision to remove from sale the number plates F4 GOT and D1 KES.
The agency says the plates bear resemblance to the terms faggot and dykes, on grounds of “the clear potential offence“.

Amazon Blames A Ham Fist For Purge On Gay And Lesbian Books
AMAZON, the online bookseller, says a “ham-fisted” error is behind the disappearance of gay authors from its best-seller lists.
Thanks to the sticky ham fist – aka the “bacon shake” – gay books like Brokeback Mountain by Annie Proulx, Lesbian Sixth Form and The New Testament were removed from best-seller lists.
Says Amazon, in Amazonian tones, it was an “embarrassing and ham-fisted cataloguing error.”

TEL AVIV TURNS 100 – and on being a gay Palestinian in Israel:
Every few weeks, gay Arab men from all over Israel gather for a party at a rented nightclub on Tel Aviv’s Herzl Street. Chuch Tests Potential Priests For Gayness

MELBOURNE’S Catholic Church has embraced a Vatican suggestion to test potential priests for sexual orientation. Those who “appear” gay will be banned.

Heathrow Police Nab Five in Gay Joke Ring Sting
SHARP-EYED officials with HM Customs arrested five foreign nationals disguised as homosexuals at Heathrow this morning in what they termed the “largest international gay joke smuggling bust in UK history.” The haul include over 300 one-liners, 120 insults, 18 prop gags, and what was described as “a detailed instruction manual for effeminate mincing.”
Police declined to release the identities of those apprehended but said they include two Americans, an Australian, a Canadian, and a French poodle.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Delivers Christmas Message On British TV
