Israeli Tourists Break George Galloway’s Bradford Ban

WHEN George Galloway called for Bradford to be an “Israel-free zone” –  “we don’t want Israeli tourists to come to Bradford” – holidaymakers in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv fretted. What to do? Where to go now? But some had either pre-booked the trip or just decided that Galloway was an utter pillock and anywhere he was needed a bit of relief.

George Galloway says ‘we’ are just like the barbaric Woolwich murderers

Woolwich street attack

THE murder in Woolwich has all the hallmarks of a religiously motivated attack. One of the two murderers said to camera:

We swear by the Almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone. The only reason we have killed this man this is because Muslims are dying daily. This British soldier is an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth …

An eyewitness says the killers screamed “god is Great” in Arabic before murdering:

“I saw a guy with no head lying on the ground. He had been decapitated. There were two black guys walking around his body saying ‘This is what God would’ve wanted’.

George Galloway wasn’t misled into speaking to Eylon Aslan-Levy: he just never did his research

THEY’RE laughing at your, George Galloway. They’re laughing at you.

At Christ Church College’s Blue Boar lecture theatre at Oxford University, the Respect party MP tells 21-year-old student Eylon Aslan-Levy: “I don’t debate with Israelis.”

Mr Galloway had already given his speech. For ten minutes he gave his viewpoint.

George Galloway pushes the toothpaste back into the tube: rape news update

ONE day on from his good sex guide to Julian Assange, George Galloway is pushing the toothpaste back into the tube. Having defined what is and what is not rape for the slack-jawed masses and put the allegations against Assange in the box marked “bad manners – must says please and thank you”, Galloway now adds:

“No never means yes and non-consensual sex is rape. There’s no doubt about it and that has always been my position. But, if my remarks on the podcast need clarification, I am happy to do that. Julian Assange, let’s be clear, has always denied the allegations. And this has all the hallmarks of a set-up. I don’t believe, from what we know, that the Director of Public Prosecutions would sanction a prosecution in Britain. What occurred is not rape as most people understand it. And it’s important to note that the two women involved did not initially claim it.”

George Galloway jumps on Julian Assange and rides him hard

OH. What joy. Isn’t it marvellous when someone you really don’t like puts their foot in it. Before we get to George Galloway and Julian Assange – what a team! – Robert Colvile calls to mind a saying:

“Sit by the river long enough, and the bodies of your enemies will float by.”

No. Here’s Galloway, a leading light of the – get his – Respect Party  (oh, the irony) now representing Bradford in Parliament, telling us in his Goodnight With George Galloway podcast that Julian Assange is accused of nothing more than “bad sexual etiquette”. Galloway wasn’t in the room when Assange was with his alleged victims. But he paints a picture. Assange is wanted in Sweden to face allegations – which he denies – of sexual assault made by two women.

“But even taken at its worst, if the allegations made by these two women were true, 100 per cent true, and even if a camera in the room captured them, they don’t constitute rape. At least not rape as anyone with any sense can possibly recognise it. And somebody has to say this.”

George Galloway presents the Enfield Poltergeist

GEORGE Galloway now narrates the story of the  The Enfield Poltergeist. Galloway makes his appearance in his son-in-law Jay Stewart’s film of the horror in north London.

It’s 1977. Peggy Hodgson, a single mum, and her four children are living in a rented 3-bedroom home at 284 Green Street, Enfield, London. It’s the home where Bill Wilkins lived and died. Things have been moving about the place, as if on their own. Thing are going bump in the night. There is a tapping sound running up and down the walls. And then one night Janet Hodgson, 11, opens her mouth and out comes the voice of an old man. It says:

“Just before I died, I went blind, and then I had an haemorrhage and I fell asleep and I died in the chair in the corner downstairs.”

Afraid – and not only of the home’s decor – Peggy Hodgson called the police. WPC  Carolyn Heeps signed a statement that she saw a chair move: “A large armchair moved, unassisted, 4 ft across the floor.”

Hodgson called the press. The Daily Star leads with “Possessed by the Devil“. The Daily Mirror wanted to solve the mystery. Reporter Douglas Bence and a photographer named Graham Morris arrived at the house. What did they see? “It was chaos,” said Morris, “things started flying around, people were screaming.”

The Daily Mail sent a man over. He found nothing, only advising that the Hodgsons contact the the Society for Psychical Research. They did. Maurice Grosse and his colleague Guy Lyon Playfair were now on the case.  layfair would go on to write This House Is Haunted. Grosse would go on to say:

“As soon as I got there, I realised that the case was real because the family was in a bad state. Everybody was in chaos. When I first got there, nothing happened for a while. Then I experienced Lego pieces flying across the room, and marbles, and the extraordinary thing was, when you picked them up they were hot.  I was standing in the kitchen and a T-shirt leapt off the table and flew into the other side of the room while I was standing by it.”

Janet Hodgson (now Janet Winter) told Channel 4:

“I felt used by a force that nobody understands. I really don’t like to think about it too much. I’m not sure the poltergeist was truly “evil”. It was almost as if it wanted to be part of our family. It didn’t want to hurt us. It had died there and wanted to be at rest. The only way it could communicate was through me and my sister…

“I was bullied at school. They called me Ghost Girl and put crane flies down my back. I’d dread going home. The front door would be open, there’d be people in and out, you didn’t know what to expect and I used to worry a lot about Mum. She had a nervous breakdown, in the end.”

Graham Morris spoke to the BBC:

The BBC reported:

The Federation of Student Islamic Societies in Dublin, George Galloway and sectarianism for Syria

DAYS after the ‘true Muslim‘ George Galloway became an MP, members of the Federation of Student Islamic Societies in Dublin staged a flash mob on O’Connell Street to highlight human rights abuses by the Assad regime in Syria. Why pick on Galloway? Well, it was he who said that President Bashar al-Assad of Syria was a “breath of fresh air”.

George Galloway wins Bradford West for Iraq – in photos

MP George Galloway is Bradford West’s man in Westminster. The cat impressionist has landed on his feet. As he took the plaudits, shouted “All praise to Allah!” and  “Long Live Iraq! Long live Palestine!”, he waved a ‘V’ to the crowd – whatever the race, language or gender, they always flash the British ‘V’ at moments of triumph.

This is George Galloway, who in accordance with the Oprah Winfrey school of slimming went to Iraq to meet with Saddam Hussein, one of the few men to make him look better, albeit a bit sparse about the moustaches, and then showed his hatred of totalitarian regimes and love of freedom by meeting Hamas reps.

George Galloway is Bradford’s true Muslim Catholic candidate

GEORGE Galloway is standing for Parliament in the Bradford West by-election. He’s a terrific talker is Saddam Hussein’s old admirer. He’s a friend to Muslims, such Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his invisible suit, those in Hamas and at Iran’s biased Press TV. He wants locals to vote for him. They should. He is a rabble-rouser and give good telly. He says, “I am Labour.” He is also the true Muslim – although it appears he is also a Catholic:

Anonymous emails tie Syria’s Assad to George Galloway’s Gaza Flotilla and ‘easily manipulated’ Americans

Anonymous emails link Syria’s Assad to George Galloway and ‘easily manipulated’ Americans.

ASMA Assad, 36, the Vogue-approved wife to Syrian President, Bashar Assad, has spoken to the Times about her life and concerns.

Says Asma Assad in an email:

“The President is the President of Syria, not a faction of Syrians, and the First Lady supports him in that role.”

Hurrah!

“The First Lady’s very busy agenda is still focused on supporting the various charities she has long been involved with and rural development as well as supporting the President as needed. These days she is equally involved in bridging gaps and encouraging dialogue. She listens to and comforts the families of the victims of the violence.”

Charity work must go on! Wernher von Braun was right – how the widows and cripples of old Homs Town will owe their large bags of second hand clothes and text books to Bashar Von Braun.

George Galloway Threatens To Sue Harry’s Place’s David T

DAVID T of the liberal hawk blog Harry’s Place has announced that he is being sued by George Galloway and an associate named Kevin Ovenden, who are demanding £50,000 each for a comment which David posted to the Socialist Unity blog, writes Richard Bartholomew .

The comment does not mention either man, but it does refer to the aid convoy charity Viva Palestina, of which both men are trustees. David suggests that the organisation is a “Hamas fundraising operation” and scoffs that it would “have been an honest way to advertise their activities” if Viva Palestina’s official t-shirts had included a hadith concerning the killing of Jews, since this Hadith appears in the Hamas covenant. He futher jokes that “he could have sworn” that this hadith was what was written on the t-shirts, but that “google translate must have let me down”.

David T’s comment is not 0ne that I would endorse – and not just because it might prove bad for the wallet.

George Galloway Spots Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Invisible Suit

ahmadinejad-suitGEORGE Galloway, who works for Iran’s Press TV, where he presents a comedy show, claims that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:

“…lives like them, looks like them – he’s never worn a suit since becoming president”

Haaretz has this picture to, er, prove the point. But – hold on – do the jacket and the trousers match? If they don’t match then it’s not a suit – it’s an ensemble.

Jade Goody And George Galloway’s War On Terror

JADE Goody: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Jade Goody’s death, with George Galloway…

Glasgow Daily Record: “I Won’t Be Silenced By Canadian Tories”

It’s George Galloway.

BEING called a “street corner Cromwell” might in Galway or Cork be quite an insult.

But even Jade might have known that Oliver Cromwell is principally remembered as the champion of parliamentary supremacy and the hammer of autocracy and arbitrary power.

George Galloway And Ridley Attacked In Egypt By Anti-Hamas Dirty Words

LAUGHING GEORGE Galloway’s peace convoy rolls into Egypt:

A convoy led by the maverick MP George Galloway carrying supplies for Gaza has been attacked in Egypt, apparently injuring several people travelling in his party.

The convoy, carrying aid worth £1 million, was pelted with stones and vandalised with anti-Hamas slogans after it stopped overnight in El-Arish, a small town around 28 miles from the Rafah border crossing with Gaza.

Jews? Pass the stress ball, Ali:

I salute your indefatigability,” says one admirer, quoting Galloway’s famour catchphrase, before adding a cheery “you w***er”.

David Irving On Big Brother
