Global Warming Kills Woman In A Car

GLOBAL warming has killed a woman in a car. A woman has died because the green light obscured the green light:

Cities around the country that have installed energy-efficient traffic lights are discovering a hazardous downside: The bulbs don’t burn hot enough to melt snow and can become crusted over in a storm — a problem blamed for dozens of accidents and at least one death.

Climate Copenhagen: Al Gore Murders With Meat And Bryan Walsh’s Toes

AL GORE is in Copenhagen for the heated deabte. The great warmist, leader of the Al Goreans, is there, which means that it’s…cold:

Bryan Walsh sums it up for Time readers:

The queue snaking outside the convention center was savagely long, stretching as far as one could see, but I figured I’d spend an hour, two at most, out here in the bitter Danish cold.

I nearly froze my toes off …

Martin Cohen Explains What Drives People to Believe In The Climate Change Scare

DO you believe in climate change? Do you seek to covert non-believers by tales of hell and abused children? Martin Cohen, editor of The Philosopher, explains:

Alas, in the climate-change debate, there is a worrying amount of irrationality, incomplete science and skewed presentation. The scientists apparently “cherry-picking” and hiding their data revealed recently in the University of East Anglia email scandal are only following in a long tradition that includes even Galileo “cheating” by saying that the Earth must orbit round the Sun – in a perfect circle. Yet, surely most objectionable of all is the use of gullibility and fear as tactics in campaigns. And if fear requires a world of zero risk, that certainly won’t include those mercury-filled light bulbs and nuclear power stations.

Today, global-warming “deniers” have all been told they must fall into line with “the science”. But this is not science, this is propaganda. And we are not being asked to be more rational but to suspend our own judgment completely. That, not “runaway climate change”, is the most dangerous threat to the world today.

Are you scared yet?

Ice Bear Project Slides Into Traflagar Sqaure, In Photos

SO there we were stood in the cold when sculptor Mark Coreth arrived in Trafalgar Square sat on top of his life-sized ‘Ice Bear’ sculpture as part of the WWF’s campaign to highlight the plight of the bears in the Arctic where, it says here, melting icecaps are threatening their survival. This is interactive ice, and The Ice Bear may be touched by the public and in so doing contribute to its gradual melting, symbolising man’s supposed part in the melting of the ice caps. As the ice melts a bronze polar bear skeleton artwork inside the bear will slowly be revealed. Yeah, under the ice there are previous ores and minerals. We’re saved!

Nazi Sudan Alikens Global Warming To Nazis

GLOBAL warming matters in enlightened Sudan, where it’s up there with genocide and World War II. Sudan is ready to take up the mantle of human rights and got forward with the Green Shirts.

SUDANESE negotiator Lumumba Stanislaus Di-Aping said the draft [climate change] agreement showed Danish PM Lars Lokke Rasmussen was “desperate for success at any price”. Mr Di-Aping said the citizens of rich nations needed to force their governments to strike a better deal, pointing out that “in World War II many were willing to appease gross violations of human rights”.

Obama’s Tree Of Lights Signals To Copenhagen

BRRR! As the great and good swim and walk to Copenhagen to talk about climate change and then race back to tell us what we should do to stop it, Barack Obama cuts down a tree, plants it in a pot and covers it in electric lights.

Over in Australia, the faster for Gaia is on a drip feed:

A man who has been on a hunger strike in protest against a lack of action on climate change will be admitted to hospital after losing 20 per cent of his body weight. Sixty-one-year-old Michael Morphett has been camped for more than a month on the lawn outside Parliament House in Canberra, and will be taken to hospital to treat dangerously low blood pressure and for observation.

Germany Unveils World’s Biggest Candle To Light Global Warming

8081642A STEEPLE is covered with red cloth to form the world’s largest candle at the Christmas market in Schlitz, Germany. The candle is made of a stone tower which measures 36 metres in height and is covered with red cloth of more than 1000 square metres.

Approximately 140 light bulbs are adjusted to the steeple top in the form of a flame, measuring 6 metres in height.

From the top you can see Copenahgen and the green ministers who have flown  in to talk about climate change…

In other climate change news, boffins at the University of East Anglia (UEA) Climatic Research Unit – the world’s leading centre for reconstructing past climate and temperatures – have “admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.”

This means that following those emails about scientists colluding to stymie debate on climate change and set the science in stone, other weather watchers cannot check the sums.

How unlucky is that?

In other Green news: Expert calls for a ‘greener’ Hajj.

Climate Gate: Politicians Investigate CRU’s Emails And The BBC Sat On The Story

global-warming-heresy-cruFILES hacked from the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) see them here – seem to indicate an Orwellian pact between scientists to settle the scientific debate on man-made global warming.

The Washington Post sees “an intellectual circle that appears to feel very much under attack, and eager to punish its enemies”. Says Al Gorean George Monibot:

It’s no use pretending this isn’t a major blow. The emails extracted by a hacker from the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I’m dismayed and deeply shaken by them.

Monibot has seen the eviedence and reached a conclusions.

Global Warming And BBC Bias With Richard Black And Ariel Magazine

bbc-bias1CLIVE Davis spots an article by the BBC’s environment correspondent, Richard Black – read it here – in which he talks of the notion that the BBC is biased on climate change reporting.

Ask yourself this: when was the last time you saw a BBC report that questioned the science that says man-made global warming is going to cause untold devastation?

The BBC has two editorial golden rules: global warming is real and whatever happens in Israel must be the lead news story.

As Davis says: “His reflections on the aftermath –  published in the house magazine, Ariel –  don’t seem to be online.

Dr Who Created Al Gore, And Other Global Warming Science

al-gore2GLOBAL warming news as the Times’ survey into British attitudes towards man-made climate change excite both sides of the heated debate. Richard North reviews the science.

Before he does, know that Dr Who is on the side of the Al Goreans:

GIANT MAGGOTS AS ECOLOGICAL WARNING (THE GREEN DEATH, 1973)

Doctor Who reflected growing environmental awareness in the 1970s, when Jon Pertwee battled giant, man-eating maggots created by toxic waste. The villains are the suits who run Global Chemicals, and the heroes are the hippy drop-outs of the “Nut Hutch”. It may have been a simple depiction of big issues, but for popular television (attracting about eight million viewers) aimed at a young audience, this was radical political and social drama disguised as adventure fiction.

Dr Who created Al Gore! Now read on:

LEAD item for The Times today is a survey the paper has commissioned on attitudes to global warming.

Climate Justice Fast: Global Warming Campaigners Perform Internet Comedy Show

paul-connorCLIMATE Justice update: Canberra justice seeker Paul Connor tells us of his hunger strike for Gaia. It’s called – ready – Climate Justice Fast. Paul Connor fools his body into believing he’s taking food by eating ice for 40 days and 40 nights.

Ice is that stuff you make in ice machines and freezers. Unless he ships in broken bits from the ice cap? Either way, it doesn’t look good for climate justice to be collaborating with the enemy.

Here’s a video – shot on a wind-up camera – of hunger striker Paul on the lawns of Parliament House in Canberra, supported by 31-year-old Marcella Brassett –whose enjoying the sun – and 61-year-old Michael Morphett whose walked all the way from Sydney.

British Law Elevates Climate Change Belief To Same Status As Relgion

pope-al-goreAL Goreans can delight that their green beliefs are now an official religion, in the eyes of the law. One day on from the climate change spiritualists knocking at the door, global warming belief is granted the legal status of a religion.

The messenger is  Tim Nicholson, 42, from Oxford, former head of sustainability at property firm Grainger plc. He tells Mr Justice Michael Burton that he was made redundant in July 2008 due to his “philosophical belief about climate change and the environment“.

Mr Burton rules that “a belief in man-made climate change … is capable, if genuinely held, of being a philosophical belief for the purpose of the 2003 Religion and Belief Regulations“.

The X Factor’s Jedward Will Kill Us All Says Climate Change Expert

greenshirts2WANT to know how the X Factor could bring about not only war with China but the end of the entire planet? Writing in the Irish Times, John Gibbons tells you:

Time to discard our delusions and get real

Shows like the X Factor fuel the fantasy that anyone could, if they tried hard enough, be the next big thing. Positive thinking sounds innocuous, even benign, but it differs from cheerfulness or normal optimism in that it often extends to believing that the world is shaped by our wants and desires, and that these can be willed, genie-like, into existence.

Stick with it:

In Generation Me, psychologist Jean Twenge points out that “we simply take it for granted that we should all feel good about ourselves, we are all special and we all deserve to follow our dreams”. Over the last 25 years, international studies have tracked a strong rise in narcissistic belief among young people.

In Pictures: Peta’s Pamela Anderson Highlights Dangers Of Global Warming By Skiing In Her Knickers

pa-796262121GREEN activist Pamela Anderson is pictured snowboarding with the with the US Olympic Ski and Snowboarding Teams at a private resort in Topanga, CA.

There is no snow in Topanga – no real snow. But there is a snow machine, which allows Anderson to show us her knickers and not catch a chill. Old Mr Anorak is, as ever, appreciative. But Gaia might wonder why Pammy has altered her stance.

While we work out the carbon footprint of a snow machine, camera film and getting to the snow, we recall Paul McCartney’s letter to Peta ambassador Pammy in which he…

“…called on her to support the “growing awareness that reduced meat consumption or vegetarianism is the “single most effective” way to tackle global warming.”
