AS Mitch Winehouse’s eulogy floats away from the tabloid news cycle (he has she had rarely been happier), the Daily Star exclaims on its front page:
“AMY’S DEATH WISH”
Having already decreed that the talented singer’s epithetic should be “TRAGIC”, the Star’s Jerry Lawton reports:
TRAGIC Amy Winehouse died broken-hearted after realising she and her “true love” would never be together again, we can reveal.
He adds:
Before she launched into the “death wish” drug and booze marathon believed to have claimed her life, she begged ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil to let her visit him in jail.
