Hapless Iranian terrorists and Israeli victims expose Guardian bias

IS Iran trying to murder Israelis abroad, so far in India , Thailand and Georgi?. In India, an Israeli embassy official was on the way to pick up her children from school when the bomb went off.

The Israeli Defence Minister, Ehud Barak, visiting Singapore, is pretty sure it’s those bellicose Iranians:

“The attempted terrorist attack in Bangkok proves once again that Iran and its proxies continue to perpetrate terror.”

In Thailand the Iranians are darkly laughable. The Times writes:

The violence began when an explosion tore the roof off a rented house in the Ekamai district of Bangkok in the middle of the afternoon in what appears to have been an accidental detonation of a cache of explosives. After the blast one Iranian, later identified as Saeib Moradi, ran into the street.

“He tried to wave down a taxi, but he was covered in blood and the driver refused to take him,” said General Pansiri Prapawat, a police spokesman. Moradi threw a grenade at the taxi, slightly wounding the driver and three bystanders, before running away, pursued by police. He tried to throw a second grenade but dropped it, blowing off one leg and severely damaging the other.

Two other men fled the house but one, Mohammed Hazaei, 42, was arrested at Bangkok’s international airport while trying to board a flight to Malaysia. The third man was still at large…

Good news is that Iran is woking on getting the nuclear bombs. Sleep tight, Iranians. Know that nothing can go wrong. You will in no way be massacred by your own military glitches.

Christmas in Iran: Photos of Santa and nuclear trees

WHAT’S Christmas like in Iran for Christians? Well, it exists. But Christians who have converted from Islam can be tried for apostasy and spreading propaganda against the Islamic Republic.

Also tress can be expensive:

A two-metre real tree is a luxury item that can cost the equivalent of 1,000 US dollars, while a cheaper and smaller plastic version sells for 100 dollars or less.

Iran Threatens To Trap British Ex-Pats In United Arab Emirates: Britain Says ‘Go For It’

START those engines on Diego Garcia – Iran has reverse engineered the US RQ-170 Sentinel spy drone it captured.

Parviz Sorouri, of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, says Iran will use information gleaned to sue the United States over the “invasion”. What’s more:

“In the near future, we will be able to mass-produce it. . . . Iranian engineers will soon build an aircraft superior to the American [drone] using reverse engineering.”

Reverse engineering is the future for go-ahead Iran.

Souri adds:

“We will hold a military manoeuvre on how to close the Strait of Hormuz soon. If the world wants to make the region insecure, we will make the world insecure.”

Who Just Blew Up Iran’s Uranium Enrichment Plant? Diego Garcia Invades

TO Iran, where as Ace put it “Jewish Lightning Strikes Twice?“:

Less than two weeks after a mysterious explosion destroyed an Iranian missile base near Tehran, the Islamic Republic’s official news agency FARS reported Tuesday that a loud blast was heard in the city of Isfahan at 2:40 pm local time, but later removed the report. According to the initial report, search and rescue teams called to the scene confirmed the blast, but reported no injuries. Iran’s uranium enrichment plant is located just outside Isfahan – one of Iran’s largest cities. The report also stated that a security official confirmed that the explosion had occurred, but refused to give further details. …In a curious turn of events, shortly after the initial report was published, the item was removed from the news agency’s website, which is affiliated with the country’s Revolutionary Guard.

Hours later, deputy governor of Isfahan province told Iran’s Mehr news agency that there was no report of a major explosion in the province.

The IAEA Report On Iran

The NY Times has posted the IAEA report (pdf) on Iran’s nuclear program. As the NYT writes:

The long-awaited report relies on evidence whose scope and depth is far greater than any the agency has made public before, andrepresents the harshest judgment that the International Atomic Energy Agency has ever issued in its decade-long struggle to pierce the secrecy surrounding the Iranian program . . .

The report offered no estimate of how long it would take for Iran to be able to produce a nuclear weapon. But it laid out the case that Iran had moved far beyond the blackboard to create computer models of nuclear explosions in 2008 and 2009 and conducted experiments on nuclear triggers. The report said that starting in 2000, the Iranians constructed a vessel to conduct those tests, which was not shown to inspectors who visited the site five years later.

Those tests “are strong indicators of possible weapon development,” it said.

Reuters/JPost says hard UN sanctions are still unlikely. It’s all about the skewed voting system…

Iran Nuclear Hot Spot Now The Target – UK Dusts Off Familiar Diego Garcia Attack Plan

attacksubISRAEL yesterday tested a long-range Jericho missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads racking up a bellicose scenario as Britain’s Defence Chiefs began to dust off and assess US plans to attack Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Iran.

US President Barack Obama and his team are said to have now turned their sights on Teheran’s nuclear capability and are gearing up to attack and destroy it. Obama would be reluctant to attack before next November’s election campaign but the expected warnings from a nuclear investigation team may leave little choice.

The news leaks have the feel of a well-orchestrated Kiwi haka…lots of face pulling and tongues out but little real threat…as yet.

The US is believed to have warned it may be considering an attack and Britain will be a willing participant …without – so far – a single discussion or vote in Parliament.

The Guardian
says the UK’s Ministry of Defence knows the US is prepared to speed up plans if the nuclear inspectors’ report, due out very soon, says Iran is seeking a nuclear arms capability. It is expected to do so.

Here we go again.

Iran Launches Monkey Doll Into Space: Keith Harris Delighted (Ahmadinejad Missing)

IRAN has launched Mahmoud Ahmadinejad into space. Or have they?

Iran has conducted another experiment in its race to reach space, launching a rocket that bears a capsule that can contain an animal into the atmosphere Tuesday, the official Iranian news agency IRNA reported. The Islamic republic plans to send a manned spaceship into space by 2022; in this experiment they made do with launching only a monkey doll.

Iran Says Olympic Rings Are Jew Bagels: Threatens To Withdraw Both Athletes

THE London Olympics logo, the one that look like Lisa Simpson performing oral sex, spell ZION. Well, so say the Iranians, who have threatened to boycott the London Olympics unless the organisers replace the official logo.

If they don’t attend will any medal won be valid? At the Beijing Games of 2008, the Iranians scored two medals: a gold for taekwondo and a bronze for wrestling.

Unless cooking up conspiracy theories, fomenting genocide, Holocaust denial and hooting your own people in the face become Olympic Sports in time for next summer, Iran will not be missed.

Zahra Bahrami Is A Cautionary Tale For Egyptian Revolutionaries

ZAHRA Bahrami. Does that name mean anything to you? Has it been on the TV news much? Or are the events in Egypt filling the news space?

On December 27, 2009, Bahrami a 46-year-old Iranian-born naturalised Dutch citizen was arrested in Iran. It was during the Ashura protests against an allegedly rigged Presidential vote.

The Dutch learnt of the arrest and wanted to speak with their citizen. The Iranians refused. It does not recognise dual nationality.

Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani: Iran TV Teaches Oppressed Women How To Kill A Man

SAKINEH Mohammadi Ashtiani is on that organ of grinding bias, Ahmadinejad’s invisible suit, fantastic comedy, gravediggers for dead Americans, and spin PressTV.

Keen to prove to the world that Ashtiani is a wrong ‘un deserving of a good stoning to death, she popped up on the telly to show the folks at home how she sedated her hubby and better allowed her lover to kill him.

(Takes notes, woman of Iran. There will be Questions later. Lots of them.)

Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani’s Death Is Iran’s Televised Peep Show

SAKINEH Mohammadi Ashtiani is free! Or not. The Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for cheating on her murdered husband with another man has been shown meeting with her son at her home in Osku.

(Her male associate was pardoned by her children. Such is the Iranian State’s hatred of women. Her children, Sajad Ghadzerade and Farideh, have been tireless and courageous in their defence of their mother. Ashtiani has already served five years jail and been whipped 99 times. In September 2006, she was cleared of murder. She was then convicted of adultery for a second time and sentence to be stoned to death.)

What To Do If Iran Launches A Nuclear Attack On Britain

IRAN and six world powers have been talking about nuclear stuff in Geneva. And while the talkers talk, the nuclear machine gets built. Although Fox News says the computer worm known as Stuxnet is causing havoc at the country’s two man nuclear sites. But we can worry. What to do? What to do? Here’s what. Chris Hayward and Nat Saunders have knowledge:

Dara And Sara Are Iran’s National Dolls Declare War On Barbie

AS Mahmoud Ahmadinejad seeks to promote marriage and wean wayward Iranian youth off concrete penises and Grammar Of Change, reader Ed Brett turns us onto Dara and Sara, Iran’s “answer to Ken and Barbie”; aka the Ahmadinejad child sex dolls.

Ken and Barbie never looked like forming much of a question, let alone a coherent answer. But Iran is nothing if not reactionary and brings to the market “Muslim dolls”.

Again, this is odd. Giving a doll a name is one thing, but making it religious seems out of kilter with its lack of soul; although the shiny eyes do lend themselves to evangelical Christianity.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Want You To Marry A Young Iranian And Defuse The Sexual Bomb

IN Iran they used to marry young. Now the youth wait longer and hug the big penis. There are between 13 million to 15 million Iranians of marrying age who are not married (legal age: 15 – before 2004 it was legal to marry at age 9). And that number is growing.

The sexual bomb we face is more dangerous than the bombs and missiles of the enemy,” said Mohammad Javad Hajj Ali Akbari, head of Iran’s National Youth Organization, late last year.

Israel’s Prostitution Mall Excites Iran

RECENTLY, the Working Group Against the Trafficking of Women set up a display at Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Center showing real women with price tags, as if they were merchandise for sale. The goals: raise public awareness and gather signatures for its petition.

The shock value paid off. According to Haaretz, “very few passersby reacted negatively or apathetically“, and hundreds of people signed the petition.

It also drew the attention of an Iranian news site called Rajanews. Israelity explains what happened next:

The Iranian news website Rajanews picked up the story but instead of putting it in context, titled the piece “Prostitution in Israel” with a caption for the included picture (picked up straight from the Haaretz website) reading “Slavery Mall in Israel.” The article then proceeded to “shed some light” on modern slavery in Israel, a “country which claims to be a democracy.”

Iran Grammar Police Arrest Youth For Bad Language And Sentence Structure

IN Iran the grammar police are in action. They have arrested young rappers having fun. Pedants have a militia. CNN reports.

Tehran Police Chief Hussain Sajedinia says:

“These groups use the most trashy, juvenile and street-like words and phrases that have no place in proper grammar…More importantly, they have no regard for the law, principles, proper behavior and language.”

Forward with pedants!

Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani’s Plight In Iran Shames Anyone Who Screamed ‘We’re All Hizbollah Now’

GOOD news for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani. The Iranian woman will not be killed by security forces, like Neda Soltan. She will not be stoned to death, as was first intended for her. The powers that be say she will be hanged. She will also be lashed 99 times for the crime of allowing the Times to publish a picture of her without a headscarf.

But it wasn’t her in the picture. It was another woman. It was Susan Hejrat, an Iranian political activist living in Sweden.

What else do we know about a case that highlights the plight of women in Iran?

This latest chapter of this story began on 28 August, when the Times published a picture it said was of Ms Ashtiani. The source of the picture was said to be her lawyer, Mohammad Mostafei. He says he was handed the picture by Ashtiani’s son, Sajad Ghaderzadeh. The son denies this, and Mr Mostafei is no longer in Iran, having fled to Norway.

The Times duly apologises for its error. Mr Ghaderzadeh, who along with the escaped lawyer is accused of not being able to recognise Ashtiani, writes an open letter. He says his mother is “on false charges of spreading corruption and indecency by disseminating this picture of a woman presumed to be her without hijab“:

This news reached us through some prisoners who were released from Tabriz prison recently and have informed my mother’s lawyer, Houtan Kian, that she has been given a sentence of 99 lashes for the alleged unveiled photo of her published in western media.

“As far as we know, the sentence of 99 lashes has not been administered yet. Once I got the Times apology for the misidentified photo, I instantly informed the lawyer and we are going to ask for an appeal. My mother has been denied visits for the past two weeks, no one has been allowed to visit her, including her family and even her lawyer. She has also been denied access to a phone and we have been completely cut off from her.”

Iran’s Fatwa On Pets Makes Mary Bale A National Hero

IRAN has issued a fatwa on pets.

They can kill a woman who speaks out. They can slander the millions who died. They can eradicate gays. But Iran has now gone too far.

We in the West have but one Mary Bale. Iran has a nation of them.

Attack our pets and the British will come at you hard. Death to the non-pet lover!!!!

You see, Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has banned adverts for dog food, pets and pet products. This is a result of the Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi’s fatwa on pets.

Self-Hating Jew Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Denies 9/11

IRAN’S self-hating Jewish leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continues to be funnier than funny.

Before he gets the nuclear bomb to, as he says, give electricity to Iran and secure a steady electricity supply when he’s bombed the rest of the region to dust and travel and imports are complicated by radiation, he warms up for another anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on New York.

Ahamdinehjad tells Iranians (all of them):

They announced that 3,000 people were killed in this incident, but there were no reports that reveal their names. Maybe you saw that, but I did not.”
