‘Assassin’ Wanted To Celebrate Ahmadinejad’s Life With Firecracker Says State News Agency

THAT grenade tossed at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran was not a grenade. Unless it was. News reports say – khabaronline.ir

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad survived an attack with a homemade explosive device on his motorcade during a visit to the western city of Hamadan on Wednesday, a source in his office said.

Heydar Moslehi, Iran’s intelligence minster, says (via ISNA):

“We have discovered some conspiracy plots backed by Israelis in the region.”

Well, Ahmadinejad does says that “Zionists” are threatening to kill him.

Anyhow, back to that grenade:

Iran’s state-run Press TV quoted unnamed government sources saying that “no such attack took place.”

Gordon Brown’s Perfectly Punctuated Smear

GORDON Brown has the big print notes – “OH BOY, THE IRANIANS ARE GOING TO LOVE YOU. UNDERLINE, UNDERLINE, UNDERLINE.” Oh, boy! So very 1950s.

As Chicken Yoghurt says:

I particularly like the way they took the time to include the OH and the BOY. And the comma – it’s a perfectly punctuated smear. Brown’s unspontaneous spontaneity is so wonderfully crafted.

Click the iamge to see the fun.

As for the Iranians loving Nick Clegg – well, they most likely do after the Jenny Tonge dither

Women Caused Earthquake In Tehran, Says Hojjat ol-eslam Kazem Sediqi

WOMEN – and that includes you Gaia, Mother Nature or whatever you call yourself in your whoring ways – are to blame for an earthquake in Tehran.

In Pictures: Nuclear Muslims And Nipples For Allah

Hojjat ol-eslam Kazem Sediqi, acting Friday prayer leader in Tehran, says women in their tight knickers and big bouncy bras and soft tights (he can go on) and their promiscuous ways are to blame for the earthquake in Tehran. Says he:

“Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes.”

Call off the bunker busters! Send for the thongs! America will break Iran by natural means. It being God’s will.

Obama Forced To Go To War With Iran

ON the looming war in Iran – bunker busters in Diego Garcia – a reader writes:

You hit it on the nose four weeks ago. A month ago the CIA presented its Report to Congress on the activities in Iran and their serious concerns with how advanced Iran is in getting close to making their nuclear bomb. Then a Security Analyst was on TV and their opinion was Iran now has everything needed to make one. Israel has been saying that for a couple of years but no one seemed to want to listen.

Obviously, at least to me, the Pentagon seems worried over what Obama would do if necessary, since Gates’ memo was leaked and it wasn’t by accident. I did ask someone if they thought Obama does have the balls to take military action against Iran and their response was ‘you better hope he does’. You can wager the White House is royally pissed off that memo has been leaked and the Pentagon is speaking out. It puts Obama on the spot, as no doubt intended.

Bunker Buster Bombs To Diego Garcia As US Prepares To Attack Iran

THE Sunday Herald’s Rob Edwards has an exclusive story on Diego Garcia and Iran which is being politely ignored by just about everyone else.

It is probably worth more than a passing glance. If true, this can not be carried out without the permission of the British Government. There has been NO Parliamentary report about this and MPs have NOT been openly informed..

Edwards says hundreds of powerful US “bunker-buster” bombs are being shipped from California to the British island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean in preparation for a possible attack on Iran. The Island has been a joint US and UK military base since 1971.

The Sunday Herald piece says:

“The US government signed a contract in January to transport 10 ammunition containers to the island. According to a cargo manifest from the US navy, this included 387 “Blu” bombs used for blasting hardened or underground structures.

“Experts say that they are being put in place for an assault on Iran’s controversial nuclear facilities. There has long been speculation that the US military is preparing for such an attack, should diplomacy fail to persuade Iran not to make nuclear weapons.”

Gearing Up For Destruction

Dan Plesch, director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at the University of London, and co-author of a recent study on US preparations for an attack on Iran, is quoted as saying:

“They are gearing up totally for the destruction of Iran. US bombers are ready today to destroy 10,000 targets in Iran in a few hours.”

BBC Reader Says Iran Needs Nuclear Bomb For The Gays

ahmadinejad-homosexualsIRAN needs nuclar weapons because the homosexuals need them to make Iran great. Of course, there are not gays in Iran, the self-hating Jew Ahamidnejad told us so. Still a BBC reader asks:

Why shouldn’t Iran have nuclear capability? Israel, India, and many other countries which are no more stable than Iran have the capability. Another case of the USA trying to impose it’s homophobic prejudices on the rest of the world and, to my shame, with this country’s backing!

Iran’s Green Revolution Needs Israel To Attract Big Media Bias

IN Iran, the Green Revolution is underway. Again. But it’s not the lead story on the BBC. If it were about Israel, it would be. The revolutinaries need Israel to get involced for the BBC to take notice. Back Spin writes of goings on in Israel – which is always top of the BBC and other mainstream news organs’ news agenda:

We can’t verify this horrifying accusation, but we’ll publish it anyway. That’s the gist of this snippet by Daily Telegraph reporter Adrian Blomfield. He writes from Gaza:

British Sailors Arrive Back From Iran, In Pictures

FOUR of the five British sailors arrested in Iran – Luke Porter, Sam Usher, Oliver Young and Oliver Smith – have arrived back in Blighty.

The crew of the Kingdom of Bahrain were detained after their yacht strayed into Iranian waters as they headed from Bahrain to Dubai to take part in the Dubai to Muscat offshore sailing race. After a few days with them, the Iranian regime could take more stories about Cowes Week, sailing with people called Jules and ways to serve Pimms and released the captives. We were there to see them come home:

Iran Buckles Under Pressure And Releases Five Boaty Types

mahmoudahmadinejadweepingFRONT-PAGE headlines like “Fear for five Brit captives” (Star), “Brits face ‘hard & serious punishment’” (Sun), “Iran’s Evil Internt” (Mirror) and “Iran threatens serious action against sailors” (Express), may have created that impression that the Iranians were about to execute the five British sailors who has illegally entered the country’s waters.

Sam Usher, Olly Smith, Luke Porter, Oliver Young and Dave Bloomer were all in dire peril of a rum lot, sodomy and the lash.

But it turns out that after a few days in the company of five middle-class yachty types the Iranians surrendered.

Iraq The Model

saddam-hussein-ahmadinejadIS Iraq the model for Iran? Christopher Hitchens thinks so:

Did the overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime, and the subsequent holding of competitive elections in which many rival Iraqi Shiite parties took part, have any germinal influence on the astonishing events in Iran? Certainly when I interviewed Sayeed Khomeini in Qum some years ago, where he spoke openly about “the liberation of Iraq,” he seemed to hope and believe that the example would spread. One swallow does not make a summer. But consider this: Many Iranians go as religious pilgrims to the holy sites of Najaf and Kerbala in southern Iraq. They have seen the way in which national and local elections have been held, more or less fairly and openly…

Kaveh Alipour Is Not Photogenic Neda Sultan

NEDA Sultan is big news. But Kaveh Alipour is not. Women make more photogengic “icons” for the press to portray. Discuss:

The family, clad in black, stood at the curb of the road sobbing. A middle-aged mother slapped her cheeks, letting out piercing wails. The father, a frail man who worked as a doorman at a clinic in central Tehran, wept quietly with his head bowed.

Minutes before, an ambulance had arrived from Tehran’s morgue carrying the body of their only son, 19-year-old Kaveh Alipour.

toaster-twitterGirl electrocuted using Twitter:

TWITTER is the greatest tool in the history of mankind ever. Iran will be saved by Twitter. Problem is that Twitter is one up for the grunt. But Twitter can be dangerous. Get this story of the girl who died Twittering:

A teenage girl was electrocuted after dropping her laptop into the bath as she twittered in the tub.

Police said they believed Maria Barbu, 17, had tried to plug in her laptop with wet hands after the battery died during a long session on social networking site Twitter as she took a soak at her home in Brasov, central Romania.
