Why do they hate us? Islamists and the West can no longer understand the question

LOOKS like the Anglican Christians and Pakistan PM Ashraf agree: there must be no debate on religion:

Barack Obama burns on a ‘special day of love’ for the Prophet Muhammad

TO Pakistan, where to celebrate the government-declared “special day of love” for the Prophet Muhammad a man has been murdered in the northern city of Peshawar, celebrants have been much ranting and shouting at pigeons, and Baarck Obama has been turned into a traditional pin-striped Guy by those Bonfire Night enthusiasts and turned into a beacon of love.

Remember, remember the 19th of September…

The Innocent of Islam excuse: jihadis conspire to be outraged

WHY are there riots in Middle East? Was Christopher Stevens, US Ambassador to Libya, murdered over a 14-minute clip of a pisspoor film called The Innocence of Islam? Julian Borger says he was. He tells Guardian readers:

The long fuse that led to the explosion of violence that killed the US ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, was lit last summer in the pleasant hills of southern California, where a man who claims to be an Israeli-American real estate developer, Sam Bacile, set about making a film.

Sam Bacile is the fabrication of a Christian group.

The best Barack Obama burning effigies – Islamists go bonkers for Bonfire Night (photos)

ONE thing you cannot escape noticing is that Islamists love scarecrows. Wherever and whenever an anti-American protest breaks out some gurning loon will be there with an effigy of the US President he wants to set on fire. It isn’t Santa Claus’s Christmas, Halloween or Mother’s Day the US should have exported round the globe – it’s Bonfire Night, that British custom of spending every November 5th in the company of a stuffed, militant religionist (in this case the Catholic Guy Fawkes) with a rocket up his arse. If you want to show the jihadis that they are not the enemy, give them a hot jacket potato, a sparkler and invite them to bring an effigy to burn on the Bonfire. Recently, the Bonfire Nighters have been focusing on Barack Obama. Here are some of the best scarecrows/ effigies / Guys so far:

A university student of Nangarhar, makes a U.S. flag, as others hold an effigy of U.S. President Barack Obama during a demonstration in Jalalabad east of Kabul, Afghanistan on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.

What happened to two Muslim coverts acting ‘suspiciously’ by the London Olympic canoeing venue?

ON June 29, the Daily Mail told us that “Two Muslim converts have been arrested on suspicion of plotting an attack on the London Olympic canoeing venue after police spotted them on a dinghy nearby“.

Tammy Hughes (not a Muslim convert) told readers:

The Muslim coverts were “acting suspiciously close to the venue in Waltham Abbey, Essex”.

Mizanur Rahman, 29, said the arrests ‘might have had something to do with the fact that they recently went canoeing’ on the River Lee, a branch of which runs through the Olympic site in east London.

Spinning an anti-Islam line at the Arab International Festival 2012 in Dearborn Michigan

AT the Arab International Festival 2012 Dearborn Michigan, trouble. Richard Bartholomew reports:

A reasonable observation from Alan Noble at Christ and Pop Culture:

Get a bunch of kids together, mock their beliefs, try to ward them away with a pig head on a stick, yell at them, and no matter what religion they are, don’t be surprised if they start throwing trash. That doesn’t in any way justify their action, but it does explain it.

Noble was responding to reports that Muslims had “stoned” Christian evangelists in Dearborn – the source for these is a video created by Tom Trento‘s “United West” outfit:

Ruben Israel returned this year to the Arab Festival and once again incited the festival goers to scream and yell and throw trash… It was picked up by The BlazeAmerican VisionAmerican ThinkerFrontPage Magazine, and other, smaller conservative websites.

Islamic Cleric Warns Women Against Handling Sexy Bananas And Cucumbers

THE unnamed Islamic cleric says that women should avoid handling cucumbers, carrots and bananas lest doing so stir “sexual thoughts”, reports El-Senousa.

The male cleric, who sees the threat of lust in all things, advises that a male related to the women, such as their a father or husband (but not cousin Ishmael nor his friend Barry), should be in sole charge of such depraved food stuffs. These items should be hidden from women, possibly out of the kitchen and under the man’s bed or in a locked briefcase behind the stack of tiles in the garage.

How The Islamophobic Daily Mail Spun A Lie About The BBC Banning BC And AD

HAVE you been following the Daily Mail’s news that the BBC has banned the use of BC and AD on dates? Did you know that the BBC has changed BC and AD to the more “politically correct” CE and BCE?

Chris Hastings, Melanie Phillips (who deep into her rant admitted that she herself prefers to use “BCE” and “CE”) and Peter Hitchens were all on mesage. James Delingpole agreed. Yep, the BBC was banning Jesus, and in so doing was letting in the Marxists and destroying the country’s moral fabric. The BBC said the story was untrue. But the Mail knew that it alone was correct – even if proof said otherwise.

We were given a list of suspects:

The BBC’s religious and ethics department says the changes are necessary to avoid offending non-Christians… Some of the BBC’s most popular programmes including University Challenge, presented by Jeremy Paxman, and Radio 4’s In Our Time, hosted by Melvyn Bragg, are among the growing number of shows using the new descriptions.

The Mail even spotted a Muslim:

The website for BBC Religion and Ethics, headed by commissioning editor Aaqil Ahmed, who is a Muslim, is littered with references to Common Era and Before Common Era

Those words replaced an earlier caption which said:

the Corporation say, bizarrely, the change has nothing to [do] with Mr Ahmed

The Mail has form on the news that the BBC is anti-Christian:

Islamists Riot Over Absolute Faith In Allah, Iraqi Children Play And A Protestant Northern Irish Car-B-Que

PHOTOS Of The Day: Every days images and news of world events drop into Anorak’s news box. You won’t seem them on the mainstream news. The BBC’s 10 o’clock bulletin, for example, is obsessed with Israel, Rupert Murdoch, film premiere, murder and itself. You are less likely to see:

Children play with cattle in the Tigris river in Baghdad, Iraq, Sunday, July 10, 2011. The animals are bathed daily to help keep them healthy and to protect them from the heat. Yeah, no bombs, gurning madmen with sabres and gung-ho yanks cuddling dogs.

WHAT is it about militant Islamism and cartoon mice:

But several Islamic lawyers have filed a formal complaint and there are calls for a boycott of his businesses.

Malaysian Muslims Will No More Dance The Poco-Poco

TO Malaysia, where the National Fatwa Council and the Islamists are making a war dance:

Islamic clerics in Malaysia are firm on their ban on ‘poco-poco’ a popular dance form, claimed of having Christian roots, despite the country’s National Fatwa Council’s decision to allow the dance.

The Perak Fatwa council’s Mufti, Harussani Zakaria, said the state fatwa council was convinced that the dance contained elements of Christianity and spirit worshipp.

“We will not back down on our decision. It is final,” the Star quoted Zakaria, as saying.

Indoctrinating Muslim Children With Hate And Violence In A British Madrassa

CHANNEL 4′s undercover investigation into life at the UK’s madrassas made for grim viewing. In Lessons in Hate and Violence, we saw children engaging in and being the victims of casual violence; institutionalised racism; and adults seeking to ingrain in their charges a sense of cultural and moral superiority.

Richard Bartholomew reviews:

MUCH of the programme focused on Darul Uloon al-Islam, a full-time secondary school in Birmingham which has in the past been visited by MPs and various officials. Footage shows an older student leading an assembly as preaching practice, in which he explains that Hindus have no intellect because they “worship cows”, and that they “drink the piss of a cow”.

Anti Islamophobia Campaigner Guilty Of Chopping Off Wife’s Head

MUZZAMMIL Hassan has been found guilty of stabbing his wife Aasiya Hassan in Buffalo, New York. She asked him for a discover – six days later he responded by murdering her and chopping her head off.

He has been found guilty of second-degree murder.

He claimed self-defence. He claimed Islamophobia was prejudicing his trail.

But that might not be the biggest cause for you to sneer.

Mr Hassan was notable for setting up Bridges TV, a satellite channel aimed at countering negative portrayals of Muslims following the 9/11 terror attacks.

Sharia Law In Blackburn: No Honour In Saheel Ahmed’s Murder

WHEN Naeem Butt murdered his estranged wife’s lover Saheel Ahmed in Little Harwood, Blackburn, he got 25 years jail. Butt severed Ahmed’s jugular vein with a foot-long knife. He then stabbed him six times.

The report in the Lancashire Telegraph contains two passages of note. We get to hear from Coun Salim Mulla, of the Lancashire Council of Mosques:

“My view is that the community will always try to deal with minor incidents rather than involve the police, and that is something that I agree with. Things should be resolved within the community, but only on a minor scale. But in very serious cases, as this was, the criminal justice system must be allowed to run its course.”

That he feels need to say that murder must be dealt with by the country’s rule of law seems odd. The United Kingdom is an enlightened society, where the legal system exists to uphold the universal rule of law. Has this rule of law becoming circumscribed in Blackburn?
