Anna Campbell died fighting for the Kurds and the West

The media has not led with salutes and tributes to Anna Campbell, a 26-year-old British woman killed in Syria. The British government has not made protestations to the Turkey regime for killing her. Campbell was a member of the YPJ, the all-female Kurdish military unit allied with the People’s Protection Units (YPG). She was killed on 15 March in Afrin, which has been under bombardment by Turkish forces. Turkey says the YPG is associated with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). Turkey says the YPG are nothing but terrorists.

Anna Campbell was in Syria to help the Kurds build a nation and defeat Islamic State, the group that murdered 130 people in Paris, 86 people in Nice, 32 people in Brussels, 12 people in Berlin, 14 people in San Bernadino, 22 people in Manchester, 8 people in London Bridge, 5 people in Westminster and 16 people in Barcelona.

She died fighting the people who murdered so many. She died doing the West’s dirty work. But there’s no words of praise for Anna Campbell in the lead news bulletins on TV and radio.

Her father tells the BBC: “She wanted to create a better world and she would do everything in her power to do that. I told her of course that she was putting her life in danger, which she knew full well she was doing.”

But do we?

Burqa Babes: Daily Telegraph identifies jihadi bride of the month

Working on the Telegraph’s picture desk is a skilled task. To illustrate the story that “British jihadi brides are returning home after being widowed, or being sent away by husbands preparing to make a final stand with the Islamic State group”, the paper publishes this:

jihadi brides

“A woman believed to be British female jihadi Asqa Mahmoud, 20,” is the figure in the “centre”. She is “pictured with friends”.

Their identities are unknown. Although the one on the right is ringer for Lord Lucan whilst the other could be Shergar.

Hurrah for The Blackshirts: The Guardian cheers for Islamic State

Compare and contrast:

Daily Mail, 8 July 1934: “Hurrah for the Blackshirts”:

“If the Blackshirts movement had any need of justification, the Red Hooligans who savagely and systematically tried to wreck Sir Oswald Mosley’s huge and magnificently successful meeting at Olympia last night would have supplied it.”

Islamic State is often called ‘medieval’ but is in fact very modern – a horrific expression of a widespread frustration with a globalised western model that promises freedom and prosperity to all, but fails to deliver.

You can read Pankaj Mishra’s dire essay in full. But be warned: it’s 10 minutes of your life you will never get back.

Yoko One says Jihadi John must not go down in history as the person who destroyed The Beatles

jihadi john yoko ono

Yoko One has something to say about Islamic State gropup, or whatever the BBC calls Jihadis nowadays. Having learned that alleged IS executioner Mohammed ‘Jihadi Jonhn’ Emwazi is part of a trio of Brit fanatics dubbed The Beatles, she says:

“I thought that was very distasteful. That’s why it is important for me not to be a couch potato. I have to keep on doing something because the other side will take over –  people who are really not understanding what beautiful things we have in this world and want to destroy it. And I’m not going to let them destroy John Lennon or The Beatles.”

No, Yoko. Let’s leave that legacy to someone else.

Maybe, given their secretive nature and remarkable rise to power, the trio can be called The Who, Bros or Bananarama. Or how about a trio we can all hate, like Top Gear, The Goodies or Harry, Ron, and Hermione?

Police news: ISIS fag is a jacket in a tree

ISIS jacket flag
Have we let the murderous goons of Islamic State infect out minds? In Italy, police were called when a local spotted an Isis flag hanging outside an apartment building.
They called the police because they saw a flag. Incredible.
But the really sad thing is that the police responded, racing over to the apartment block in Porto Recanati, on Italy’s eastern coast. The police searched the building and questioned residents. They then noted that the ISIS flag was a jacket that had been blown into the trees after being hung out to dry.

At home with Mohammed Emwazi Britain’s last living executioner

emwazi

Having been told that Jihadi John is Mohammed Emwazi, the loveable rogue’s father is the subject of the Times‘ story: “No proof my son is Isis butcher, says father of Mohammed Emwazi.”

Which makes us wonder: where is Mo, then? Has he got in touch to dismiss the stories?

Jasem Emwazi, for it is he, has hired a lawyer in Kuwait. No, not to sell his story to the highest bidder or to auction his belongings to ghouls. That for later. The lawyer is there to stick to the facts, telling one and all:

“I am not sure that [Jihadi John] is my son. There is no proof that the man shown in the videos and photographs is my son, as the media has reported in the last few days.”

Boris Johnson says all jihadis are tossers but not all tossers are jihadis

PA-18107272

Boris Johnson, London Mayor, shares his view on British jihadis with straight-thinking, dry-handed, non-tossing Sun readers:

“If you look at all the psychological profiling about bombers, they typically will look at porn. They are literally w**kers. Severe onanists. They are tortured. They will be very badly adjusted in their relations with women, and that is a symptom of their feeling of being failures and that the world is against them. They are not making it with girls, and so they turn to other forms of spiritual comfort — which of course is no comfort… I fervently think we need to demystify this lot. The people most likely to get involved in IS or be radicalised are the same as those most vulnerable to getting dragged into drug gangs or other criminal activity. They are just young men in desperate need of self-esteem who do not have a particular mission in life, who feel that they are losers and this thing makes them feel strong — like winners.

“I want to hear a proper angry Islamic theological denunciation of what is going wrong. We won’t succeed if Western politicians go around bashing and blaming Islam — that is hopeless. This problem can only be addressed if Muslim authorities and clerics find a powerful and compelling way of setting up an alternative narrative for young people that makes this seem irrelevant.”

Jihadis are tossers. Not exactly news, there. The biggest bansturbators always are the most suggestible.

Collins Atlas wipes Israel from the map: IDF wears invisibility cloak

israel gone

Israel has gone. It was never there. Anyone buying a HarperCollins Middle East Atlas in Jordan, Syria, the Gulf states, Saudia Arabia and Lebanon will find no Israel.

Bishop Declan Lang, chairman of the Bishops’ Conference Department of International Affairs, told The Tablet:

“The publication of this atlas will confirm Israel’s belief that there exists a hostility towards their country from parts of the Arab world. It will not help to build up a spirit of trust leading to peaceful co-existence.”

It could also mean that Islamic State goons see the blank space and think it a fine place to settle. They will march on this barren world and be systematically taken out by an invisible Army.

Publish at will…

From #IS To #Ferguson: Drugged Jihadis Offer To Kill For Justice And Muslim Converts In America

Ferguson is burning. And on the web, a Islamic State jihadi makes the poepls burning and marching for justice an offer:

Accept islam & give bayah to abu bakr al baghdadi & then we will send u soldiers that dont sleep !

Convert to militant, murderous Islam and the Islamic State will ride into Ferguson to murder the Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhsits and ban your sister and mum from going out alone.

Sure one white cop killed an unarmed black man, but he enver tried hard enough. With IS, lots of armed Muslims will kill millions of unarmed people. Think big, Ferguson!  Freedom is yours to grasp!

Crisis over, America, you’ve just be raffirmed.

Islamic State’s War On Women And Children Play Soccer With A Servered Head

ISIS head

THE Islamic State is waging a  war against women:

Last month in the Iraqi city of Mosul, where 2 million people live, ISIS reportedly executed several notable women, including lawyers, physicians, activists and politicians for various reasons. Among them was a famous lawyer who refused to charge the families of the Iraqi detainees in the U.S. military detention facilities between 2003 and 2011.

The Iraqi writer Mushriq Abbas says Samira Salih al-Nuaimi was born in 1963. She was illiterate until the age of 18, when she enrolled in a class and learned how to read and write, after which she earned two bachelor’s degrees, in literature and law. Because of her continued criticism of ISIS on social media and in person, she was arrested and tortured for five days and then killed in public in Mosul.

We hear testimony from  Ekram Ahmet, 40, “who fled Kobane with his wife and five children six days ago”.
