Jared Loughner Pleads Not Guilty: Release The Nazi Pundits

JARED Loughner has pleaded not guilty in federal court in Phoenix to killing 6 people and shooting 14 more, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in the head at close quarters.

We will now be witnesses to a lengthy trial in which all manner of theories will be examined as to how the 22-year-old lunatic might have done it, or not. The talk of his being a Nazi will be mentioned but not investigated too much on news talk shows because though ultra-right wing head cases make for novelty pundits they lack mass appeal and it’s better to attack the Republicans and shock jocks who really get the media.

Is Sarah Palin Triggered Jared Loughner Did Paul Krugman Do For Silvio Berlusconi?

PAUL Krugman has been vocal in his linking Sarah Plain to Jared Loughner, the mass murdering  shooter of, among others, Gabrielle Giffords.

You can link words to Loughner‘s violence, right?

In 2008, Paul Krugman was quoted thus in the New Yorker:

“We had a little portable outside fire pit and we let people throw in an effigy or whatever they wanted to get rid of for the past eight years. One of our Italian colleagues threw in an effigy of Berlusconi.”

Sarah Palin Goes Nuclear On MSNBC

THANKS to the self-defeating bile about Sarah Palin and Jared Loughtner, anyone can see the biased wheels behind the media machine turning. From the lack of words on Obama’s gun, to the willful ignorance of Loughner’s state of mind, the media has been undone.

The latest cavalry charge of the opportunistic lightweight brigade comes on MSNBC’s Hardball, where Chris Matthews and Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter deliver this  about Palin’s “blood libel” line:

Matthews: But now, “blood libel”–why would she say a word like that? I thought she had some people around her with some sophistication about the history of anti-Semitism, some knowledge of what that term might mean in history and wouldn’t use it. But she did.

Jared Loughner, J. Eric Fuller And Mental Health In Tuscon

JARED Loughner shot Gabrielle Giffords in the because Sarah Palin produced a photo of crosshairs and… Well, there are other reasons why the Tuscon man murdered six people and shot 14 more. And as experts on the Left says the Right made Loughner do it, we hear of one J. Eric Fuller:

A Tucson mass shooting victim was taken into custody Saturday after yelling “you’re dead” at a Tea Party spokesman during the taping of an ABC-TV town hall event hosted by Christianne Amanpour.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said , 63, was involuntarily committed to an undisclosed medical facility…

Jared Loughner: The Inevitable Marijuana Debate (With Obama’s Bong)

JARED Loughner was called a stoner by an older school colleague. Cue the inevitable marijuana debate. (Did Barack Obama smoke weed? You bring a spliff – I bring a bong…)

Adam Serwer gets it about right:

David FrumAndrew Sullivan, and Joe Klein are having a debate about whether or not marijuana use could have had an effect on the Tucson shooting by aggravating the shooter’s potential schizophrenia.

Jared Loughner: Randy Loughner, Zane Gutierrez And Buckwheat

JARED Loughner: With six dead and Gabrielle Giffords among many in hospital, and the media exercising little or no caution, we learn from Zane Gutierrez (pictured on his Facebook page) more about the alleged killer.

We learn:

“He was a nihilist and loves causing chaos, and that is probably why he did the shooting, along with the fact he was sick in the head.”

Loughner kept a dream journal.

“Jared felt nothing existed but his subconscious. The dream world was what was real to Jared, not the day-to-day of our lives.”

Jared Loughner Killed Buckwheat

JARED Loughner Media Industries presents THE SHOOTING OF BUCKWHEAT: PART TWO (first viewed March 19th, 1983). Why he did he do it? Well, grammar /  Muslims / Sarah Palin God a drawing /a mapmarijuanaliberal idealsHitler / a grudge/ a question /  Barack ObamaChicago and gun law made him do it. He might also have been mentally ill.

Before shooting 20 people – killing six – Jared Loughner called his friend Bryce Tierney at 2am. He never took the call. He now says:

“I sort of wish I would have,” Tierney said in an interview with Mother Jones. “I wonder what would have happened if I answered it.”

When Tierney heard that Giffords had been shot, his mind immediately turned to his close friend Loughner: “They hadn’t released the name, but I said, ‘Holy shit, I think it’s Jared that did it.’”

Jared Loughner And Major Nidal Hasan Expose Media Prejudice: Michael Tomasky Explains

JARED Lee Loughner and Major Nidal Hasan. How does the media remain consistent when reporting on the white nutter who murdered six and shot 14 in Arizona more and the Muslism nutter who murdered 13 people at Fort Hood?

Before he committed mass murder, Major Nidal Malik Hasan yelledAllah Wakbar!” – God is great!” Before he committed mass murder. Jared Loughner asked Giffords: ““What is government if words have no meaning?”

Let’s see, with Guardian writer Michael Tomasky.

On Jared Loughner:

… You don’t have to believe that alleged shooter, Jared Loughner, is a card-carrying Tea Party member (he evidently is not) to see some kind of connection between that violent rhetoric and what happened in Arizona on Saturday.

… So what particular type of nut is Loughner? We don’t have a full picture yet. But we have enough of one. His coherent ravings included the conviction that the constitution assured him that “you don’t have to accept the federalist laws”. He called a female classmate who had an abortion a “terrorist”.

In sum, he had political ideas, which not everyone does. Many of them (not all, but most) were right wing. He went to considerable expense and trouble to shoot a high-profile Democrat, at point-blank range right through the brain. What else does one need to know? For anyone to attempt to insist that the violent rhetoric so regularly heard in this country had no likely effect on this young man is to enshroud oneself in dishonesty and denial.

Jared Loughner: The Fake Facebook Accounts

JARED Loughner is the stick with which to beat Sarah Palin crosshairs – but not Barack Obama’s gun. Richard Bartholomew looks at the fake Facebook sites set up in Loughner’s name that aim to push a vested interest, to make capital from a grammar Nazi who murdered six peoples, shots 14 more and ruined many lives:

A number of Twitter feeds and forums are trumpeting what purports to be information from Jared Loughner’s Facebook page – e.g. here:

Although Jared Loughner’s Facebook page has been scrubbed, leave it up to some extremely proactive folks who are on top of the situation. Look very closely at the people Loughner admires: Kenyan-born Muslim Barack Hussein Obama, Saul Alinksy, Noam Chomsky, Hugo Chávez and Che Guevara…ALL COMMUNISTS! What did I tell you?

Barack Obama Inspired Jared Loughner To Shoot Gabrielle Giffords Chicago Style

WANT to know why nihilistic lunatic Jared Lee Loughner shot 20 people, killing six? Want to know why he shot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and murdered a nine-year-old girl called Christina Green? Sarah Plain inspired him, right? Those crosshairs and her command: “Don’t retreat, instead- RELOAD!” They did it?

Well, so says one partisan argument. The other one says Barack Obama and his language of violence did it. Back in 2008, Obama told the Republicans:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

Sarah Palin Inspired Jared Loughner To Shoot Gabrielle Giffords? Photos And Video

JARED Lee Loughner has murderd six and shot 12 more people with a Glock 9mm pistol at a Safeway grocery story in Tuscon, Arizona. It’s his home town. Among the dead are Federal judge John Roll and a nine-year-child. Among the injured is Arizona’s first Jewish member of Congress, a woman named Gabrielle Giffords. She’s a 40-year-old pro-abortion Democrat and gun supporter. Loughner walked up and shot her in the head. So. Why did he do it?

Sarah Palin once aimed her sights at Gifford. She would be Palin’s kill of the day. Gifford was in Sarah Plain’s crosshair as one of the legislators who had voted for Obama’s health care bill.

Palin introduced a map to her Twitter followers with the charming line:

“Don’t retreat, instead- RELOAD!”

Palin was not alone in mixing guns with politics. An Iraq war vet called Jesse Kelly stood against Gifford as the 2010 Republican nominee for Arizona’s 8th congressional district:

He seems to be embracing his fellow tea partier’s idea. Kelly’s campaign event website has a stern-looking photo of the former Marine in military garb holding his weapon. It includes the headline: “Get on Target for Victory in November. Help remove Gabrielle Giffords from office. Shoot a fully automatic M16 with Jesse Kelly.”

Palin and her acolytes never made Loughner do it. He has mind of his own.

Loughner has page on YouTube.

I attended school: Thornydale elementary,Tortolita Middle School, Mountain View Highschool, Northwest Aztec Middle College, and Pima Community College.

He says his favouite film is:

(*My idiom: I could coin the moment!*)

His favourite books:

I had favorite books: Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Wizard Of OZ, Aesop Fables, The Odyssey, Alice Adventures Into Wonderland, Fahrenheit 451, Peter Pan, To Kill A Mockingbird, We The Living, Phantom Toll Booth, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Pulp,Through The Looking Glass, The Communist Manifesto, Siddhartha, The Old Man And The Sea, Gulliver’s Travels, Mein Kampf, The Republic, and Meno.

Here he is (and maybe Obama inspired him to do it):

A old classmate of his – Catie Parker – says Loughner used to be pot head (cue a heated debate on the drugs issue):
